[81] إِنَّهُ مِن عِبادِنَا المُؤمِنينَ
[81] সে ছিল আমার ঈমানদার বান্দাদের অন্যতম।
[81] Verily, he [Nûh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves.

[82] ثُمَّ أَغرَقنَا الءاخَرينَ
[82] অতঃপর আমি অপরাপর সবাইকে নিমজ্জত করেছিলাম।
[82] Then We drowned the others (disbelievers and polytheists).

[83] ۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شيعَتِهِ لَإِبرٰهيمَ
[83] আর নূহ পন্থীদেরই একজন ছিল ইব্রাহীম।
[83] And, verily, among those who followed his [Nûh’s (Noah)] way (Islâmic Monotheism) was Ibrâhim (Abraham).

[84] إِذ جاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلبٍ سَليمٍ
[84] যখন সে তার পালনকর্তার নিকট সুষ্ঠু চিত্তে উপস্থিত হয়েছিল,
[84] When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allâh Alone – and none else, worshipping none but Allâh Alone true Islâmic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism].

[85] إِذ قالَ لِأَبيهِ وَقَومِهِ ماذا تَعبُدونَ
[85] যখন সে তার পিতা ও সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলঃ তোমরা কিসের উপাসনা করছ?
[85] When he said to his father and to his people: “What is it that which you worship?

[86] أَئِفكًا ءالِهَةً دونَ اللَّهِ تُريدونَ
[86] তোমরা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত মিথ্যা উপাস্য কামনা করছ?
[86] “Is it a falsehood âlihah (gods) other than Allâh that you desire?

[87] فَما ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
[87] বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তা সম্পর্কে তোমাদের ধারণা কি?
[87] “Then what think you about the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn, and all that exists)?”

[88] فَنَظَرَ نَظرَةً فِى النُّجومِ
[88] অতঃপর সে একবার তারকাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করল।
[88] Then he cast a glance at the stars,

[89] فَقالَ إِنّى سَقيمٌ
[89] এবং বললঃ আমি পীড়িত।
[89] And he said: “Verily, I am sick (with plague). [He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan feast].”

[90] فَتَوَلَّوا عَنهُ مُدبِرينَ
[90] অতঃপর তারা তার প্রতি পিঠ ফিরিয়ে চলে গেল।
[90] So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease).

[91] فَراغَ إِلىٰ ءالِهَتِهِم فَقالَ أَلا تَأكُلونَ
[91] অতঃপর সে তাদের দেবালয়ে, গিয়ে ঢুকল এবং বললঃ তোমরা খাচ্ছ না কেন?
[91] Then he turned to their âlihah (gods) and said: “Will you not eat (of the offering before you)?

[92] ما لَكُم لا تَنطِقونَ
[92] তোমাদের কি হল যে, কথা বলছ না?
[92] “What is the matter with you that you speak not?”

[93] فَراغَ عَلَيهِم ضَربًا بِاليَمينِ
[93] অতঃপর সে প্রবল আঘাতে তাদের উপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ল।
[93] Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand.

[94] فَأَقبَلوا إِلَيهِ يَزِفّونَ
[94] তখন লোকজন তার দিকে ছুটে এলো ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত পদে।
[94] Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening.

[95] قالَ أَتَعبُدونَ ما تَنحِتونَ
[95] সে বললঃ তোমরা স্বহস্ত নির্মিত পাথরের পূজা কর কেন?
[95] He said: “Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve?

[96] وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم وَما تَعمَلونَ
[96] অথচ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমরা যা নির্মাণ করছ সবাইকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
[96] “While Allâh has created you and what you make!”

[97] قالُوا ابنوا لَهُ بُنيٰنًا فَأَلقوهُ فِى الجَحيمِ
[97] তারা বললঃ এর জন্যে একটি ভিত নির্মাণ কর এবং অতঃপর তাকে আগুনের স্তুপে নিক্ষেপ কর।
[97] They said: “Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!”

[98] فَأَرادوا بِهِ كَيدًا فَجَعَلنٰهُمُ الأَسفَلينَ
[98] তারপর তারা তার বিরুদ্ধে মহা ষড়যন্ত্র আঁটতে চাইল, কিন্তু আমি তাদেরকেই পরাভূত করে দিলাম।
[98] So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest.

[99] وَقالَ إِنّى ذاهِبٌ إِلىٰ رَبّى سَيَهدينِ
[99] সে বললঃ আমি আমার পালনকর্তার দিকে চললাম, তিনি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবেন।
[99] And he said (after his rescue from the fire): “Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!”

[100] رَبِّ هَب لى مِنَ الصّٰلِحينَ
[100] হে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার! আমাকে এক সৎপুত্র দান কর।
[100] “My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.”
