[61] لِمِثلِ هٰذا فَليَعمَلِ العٰمِلونَ
[61] এমন সাফল্যের জন্যে পরিশ্রমীদের পরিশ্রম করা উচিত।
[61] For the like of this let the workers work.

[62] أَذٰلِكَ خَيرٌ نُزُلًا أَم شَجَرَةُ الزَّقّومِ
[62] এই কি উত্তম আপ্যায়ন, না যাক্কুম বৃক্ষ?
[62] Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqûm (a horrible tree in Hell)?

[63] إِنّا جَعَلنٰها فِتنَةً لِلظّٰلِمينَ
[63] আমি যালেমদের জন্যে একে বিপদ করেছি।
[63] Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zâlimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers).

[64] إِنَّها شَجَرَةٌ تَخرُجُ فى أَصلِ الجَحيمِ
[64] এটি একটি বৃক্ষ, যা উদগত হয় জাহান্নামের মূলে।
[64] Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire,

[65] طَلعُها كَأَنَّهُ رُءوسُ الشَّيٰطينِ
[65] এর গুচ্ছ শয়তানের মস্তকের মত।
[65] The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayâtin (devils);

[66] فَإِنَّهُم لَءاكِلونَ مِنها فَمالِـٔونَ مِنهَا البُطونَ
[66] কাফেররা একে ভক্ষণ করবে এবং এর দ্বারা উদর পূর্ণ করবে।
[66] Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith.

[67] ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُم عَلَيها لَشَوبًا مِن حَميمٍ
[67] তদুপরি তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে। ফুটন্ত পানির মিশ্রণ,
[67] Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqûm in their bellies).

[68] ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرجِعَهُم لَإِلَى الجَحيمِ
[68] অতঃপর তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে জাহান্নামের দিকে।
[68] Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell.

[69] إِنَّهُم أَلفَوا ءاباءَهُم ضالّينَ
[69] তারা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছিল বিপথগামী।
[69] Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path;

[70] فَهُم عَلىٰ ءاثٰرِهِم يُهرَعونَ
[70] অতঃপর তারা তদের পদাংক অনুসরণে তৎপর ছিল।
[70] So they (too) hastend in their footsteps!

[71] وَلَقَد ضَلَّ قَبلَهُم أَكثَرُ الأَوَّلينَ
[71] তাদের পূর্বেও অগ্রবর্তীদের অধিকাংশ বিপথগামী হয়েছিল।
[71] And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them;

[72] وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا فيهِم مُنذِرينَ
[72] আমি তাদের মধ্যে ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম।
[72] And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers);

[73] فَانظُر كَيفَ كانَ عٰقِبَةُ المُنذَرينَ
[73] অতএব লক্ষ্য করুন, যাদেরকে ভীতিপ্রদর্শণ করা হয়েছিল, তাদের পরিণতি কি হয়েছে।
[73] Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not).

[74] إِلّا عِبادَ اللَّهِ المُخلَصينَ
[74] তবে আল্লাহর বাছাই করা বান্দাদের কথা ভিন্ন।
[74] Except the chosen slaves of Allâh (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islâmic Monotheism).

[75] وَلَقَد نادىٰنا نوحٌ فَلَنِعمَ المُجيبونَ
[75] আর নূহ আমাকে ডেকেছিল। আর কি চমৎকারভাবে আমি তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম।
[75] And indeed Nûh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request).

[76] وَنَجَّينٰهُ وَأَهلَهُ مِنَ الكَربِ العَظيمِ
[76] আমি তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে এক মহাসংকট থেকে রক্ষা করেছিলাম।
[76] And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning),

[77] وَجَعَلنا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الباقينَ
[77] এবং তার বংশধরদেরকেই আমি অবশিষ্ট রেখেছিলাম।
[77] And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth).

[78] وَتَرَكنا عَلَيهِ فِى الءاخِرينَ
[78] আমি তার জন্যে পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে এ বিষয় রেখে দিয়েছি যে,
[78] And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations:

[79] سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ نوحٍ فِى العٰلَمينَ
[79] বিশ্ববাসীর মধ্যে নূহের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক।
[79] “Salâm (peace) be upon Nûh (Noah) (from Us) among the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!”

[80] إِنّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجزِى المُحسِنينَ
[80] আমি এভাবেই সৎকর্ম পরায়নদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি।
[80] Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers – see V.2:112).
