بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
[1] শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
[1] In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

[2] الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
[2] যাবতীয় প্রশংসা আল্লাহ তা’আলার যিনি সকল সৃষ্টি জগতের পালনকর্তা।
[2] All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

[3] الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
[3] যিনি নিতান্ত মেহেরবান ও দয়ালু।
[3] The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

[4] مٰلِكِ يَومِ الدّينِ
[4] যিনি বিচার দিনের মালিক।
[4] The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)

[5] إِيّاكَ نَعبُدُ وَإِيّاكَ نَستَعينُ
[5] আমরা একমাত্র তোমারই ইবাদত করি এবং শুধুমাত্র তোমারই সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করি।
[5] You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).

[6] اهدِنَا الصِّرٰطَ المُستَقيمَ
[6] আমাদেরকে সরল পথ দেখাও,
[6] Guide us to the Straight Way.

[7] صِرٰطَ الَّذينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِم غَيرِ المَغضوبِ عَلَيهِم وَلَا الضّالّينَ
[7] সে সমস্ত লোকের পথ, যাদেরকে তুমি নেয়ামত দান করেছ। তাদের পথ নয়, যাদের প্রতি তোমার গজব নাযিল হয়েছে এবং যারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে।
[7] The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
