[29] وَزَيتونًا وَنَخلًا
[29] যয়তুন, খর্জূর,
[29] And olives and date-palms,

[30] وَحَدائِقَ غُلبًا
[30] ঘন উদ্যান,
[30] And gardens, dense with many trees,

[31] وَفٰكِهَةً وَأَبًّا
[31] ফল এবং ঘাস
[31] And fruits and herbage.

[32] مَتٰعًا لَكُم وَلِأَنعٰمِكُم
[32] তোমাদেরও তোমাদের চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের উপাকারার্থে।
[32] (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.

[33] فَإِذا جاءَتِ الصّاخَّةُ
[33] অতঃপর যেদিন কর্ণবিদারক নাদ আসবে,
[33] Then, when there comes As-Sâkhkhah (the second blowing of the Trumpet on the Day of Resurrection) —

[34] يَومَ يَفِرُّ المَرءُ مِن أَخيهِ
[34] সেদিন পলায়ন করবে মানুষ তার ভ্রাতার কাছ থেকে,
[34] That Day shall a man flee from his brother,

[35] وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبيهِ
[35] তার মাতা, তার পিতা,
[35] And from his mother and his father,

[36] وَصٰحِبَتِهِ وَبَنيهِ
[36] তার পত্নী ও তার সন্তানদের কাছ থেকে।
[36] And from his wife and his children.

[37] لِكُلِّ امرِئٍ مِنهُم يَومَئِذٍ شَأنٌ يُغنيهِ
[37] সেদিন প্রত্যেকেরই নিজের এক চিন্তা থাকবে, যা তাকে ব্যতিব্যস্ত করে রাখবে।
[37] Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others.

[38] وُجوهٌ يَومَئِذٍ مُسفِرَةٌ
[38] অনেক মুখমন্ডল সেদিন হবে উজ্জ্বল,
[38] Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islâmic Monotheism).

[39] ضاحِكَةٌ مُستَبشِرَةٌ
[39] সহাস্য ও প্রফুল্ল।
[39] Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise).

[40] وَوُجوهٌ يَومَئِذٍ عَلَيها غَبَرَةٌ
[40] এবং অনেক মুখমন্ডল সেদিন হবে ধুলি ধূসরিত।
[40] And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained;

[41] تَرهَقُها قَتَرَةٌ
[41] তাদেরকে কালিমা আচ্ছন্ন করে রাখবে।
[41] Darkness will cover them,

[42] أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الكَفَرَةُ الفَجَرَةُ
[42] তারাই কাফের পাপিষ্ঠের দল।
[42] Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW, etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers).

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] إِذَا الشَّمسُ كُوِّرَت
[1] যখন সূর্য আলোহীন হয়ে যাবে,
[1] When the sun is wound round and lost its light (is lost and is overthrown).

[2] وَإِذَا النُّجومُ انكَدَرَت
[2] যখন নক্ষত্র মলিন হয়ে যাবে,
[2] And when the stars fall;

[3] وَإِذَا الجِبالُ سُيِّرَت
[3] যখন পর্বতমালা অপসারিত হবে,
[3] And when the mountains are made to pass away;

[4] وَإِذَا العِشارُ عُطِّلَت
[4] যখন দশ মাসের গর্ভবতী উষ্ট্রীসমূহ উপেক্ষিত হবে;
[4] And when the pregnant she-camels are be neglected;

[5] وَإِذَا الوُحوشُ حُشِرَت
[5] যখন বন্য পশুরা একত্রিত হয়ে যাবে,
[5] And when the wild beasts are gathered together;

[6] وَإِذَا البِحارُ سُجِّرَت
[6] যখন সমুদ্রকে উত্তাল করে তোলা হবে,
[6] And when the seas become as blazing Fire or overflow;
