[35] لا يَسمَعونَ فيها لَغوًا وَلا كِذّٰبًا
[35] তারা তথায় অসার ও মিথ্যা বাক্য শুনবে না।
[35] No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear therein, nor lying;

[36] جَزاءً مِن رَبِّكَ عَطاءً حِسابًا
[36] এটা আপনার পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে যথোচিত দান,
[36] A reward from your Lord, an ample calculated gift (according to the best of their good deeds).

[37] رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَما بَينَهُمَا الرَّحمٰنِ ۖ لا يَملِكونَ مِنهُ خِطابًا
[37] যিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা, দয়াময়, কেউ তাঁর সাথে কথার অধিকারী হবে না।
[37] (From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatsoever is in between them, the Most Gracious with whome they dare to speak (on the Day of Resurrection except by His Leave).

[38] يَومَ يَقومُ الرّوحُ وَالمَلٰئِكَةُ صَفًّا ۖ لا يَتَكَلَّمونَ إِلّا مَن أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحمٰنُ وَقالَ صَوابًا
[38] যেদিন রূহ ও ফেরেশতাগণ সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড়াবে। দয়াময় আল্লাহ যাকে অনুমতি দিবেন, সে ব্যতিত কেউ কথা বলতে পারবে না এবং সে সত্যকথা বলবে।
[38] The Day that Ar-Rûh [Jibril (Gabriel) or another angel] and the angels will stand forth in rows, none they will not speak except him whom the Most Gracious (Allâh) allows, and he will speak what is right.

[39] ذٰلِكَ اليَومُ الحَقُّ ۖ فَمَن شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِ مَـٔابًا
[39] এই দিবস সত্য। অতঃপর যার ইচ্ছা, সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে ঠিকানা তৈরী করুক।
[39] That is (without doubt) the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)!

[40] إِنّا أَنذَرنٰكُم عَذابًا قَريبًا يَومَ يَنظُرُ المَرءُ ما قَدَّمَت يَداهُ وَيَقولُ الكافِرُ يٰلَيتَنى كُنتُ تُرٰبًا
[40] আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম।
[40] Verily, We have warned you of a near torment — the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: “Woe to me! Would that I were dust!”

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] وَالنّٰزِعٰتِ غَرقًا
[1] শপথ সেই ফেরেশতাগণের, যারা ডুব দিয়ে আত্মা উৎপাটন করে,
[1] By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence;

[2] وَالنّٰشِطٰتِ نَشطًا
[2] শপথ তাদের, যারা আত্মার বাঁধন খুলে দেয় মৃদুভাবে;
[2] By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers);

[3] وَالسّٰبِحٰتِ سَبحًا
[3] শপথ তাদের, যারা সন্তরণ করে দ্রুতগতিতে,
[3] And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits).

[4] فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبقًا
[4] শপথ তাদের, যারা দ্রুতগতিতে অগ্রসর হয় এবং
[4] And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses)

[5] فَالمُدَبِّرٰتِ أَمرًا
[5] শপথ তাদের, যারা সকল কর্মনির্বাহ করে, কেয়ামত অবশ্যই হবে।
[5] And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account).

[6] يَومَ تَرجُفُ الرّاجِفَةُ
[6] যেদিন প্রকম্পিত করবে প্রকম্পিতকারী,
[6] On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die),

[7] تَتبَعُهَا الرّادِفَةُ
[7] অতঃপর পশ্চাতে আসবে পশ্চাদগামী;
[7] The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be resurected),

[8] قُلوبٌ يَومَئِذٍ واجِفَةٌ
[8] সেদিন অনেক হৃদয় ভীত-বিহবল হবে।
[8] (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety.

[9] أَبصٰرُها خٰشِعَةٌ
[9] তাদের দৃষ্টি নত হবে।
[9] Their eyes will be downcast.

[10] يَقولونَ أَءِنّا لَمَردودونَ فِى الحافِرَةِ
[10] তারা বলেঃ আমরা কি উলটো পায়ে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবই-
[10] They say: “Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life?

[11] أَءِذا كُنّا عِظٰمًا نَخِرَةً
[11] গলিত অস্থি হয়ে যাওয়ার পরও?
[11] “Even after we are crumbled bones?”

[12] قالوا تِلكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خاسِرَةٌ
[12] তবে তো এ প্রত্যাবর্তন সর্বনাশা হবে!
[12] They say: “It would in that case, be a return with loss!”

[13] فَإِنَّما هِىَ زَجرَةٌ وٰحِدَةٌ
[13] অতএব, এটা তো কেবল এক মহা-নাদ,
[13] But, it will be only a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19)

[14] فَإِذا هُم بِالسّاهِرَةِ
[14] তখনই তারা ময়দানে আবির্ভূত হবে।
[14] When, behold, they find themselves on the surface of the earth alive after their death,
