[4] يَعلَمُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَيَعلَمُ ما تُسِرّونَ وَما تُعلِنونَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ
[4] নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে, তিনি তা জানেন। তিনি আরও জানেন তোমরা যা গোপনে কর এবং যা প্রকাশ্যে কর। আল্লাহ অন্তরের বিষয়াদি সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
[4] He knows what is in the heavens and on earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you reveal. And Allâh is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).

[5] أَلَم يَأتِكُم نَبَؤُا۟ الَّذينَ كَفَروا مِن قَبلُ فَذاقوا وَبالَ أَمرِهِم وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[5] তোমাদের পুর্বে যারা কাফের ছিল, তাদের বৃত্তান্ত কি তোমাদের কাছে পৌছেনি? তারা তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে, এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[5] Has not the news reached you of those who disbelieved aforetime? And so they tasted the evil result of their disbelief, and theirs will be a painful torment.

[6] ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كانَت تَأتيهِم رُسُلُهُم بِالبَيِّنٰتِ فَقالوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهدونَنا فَكَفَروا وَتَوَلَّوا ۚ وَاستَغنَى اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَميدٌ
[6] এটা এ কারণে যে, তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শনাবলীসহ আগমন করলে তারা বলতঃ মানুষই কি আমাদেরকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবে? অতঃপর তারা কাফের হয়ে গেল এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল। এতে আল্লাহর কিছু আসে যায় না। আল্লাহ অমুখাপেক্ষী প্রশংসিত।
[6] That was because there came to them their Messengers with clear proofs (signs), but they said: “Shall mere men guide us?” So they disbelieved and turned away (from the truth), But Allâh was not in need (of them). And Allâh is Rich (Free of all needs), Worthy of all praise.

[7] زَعَمَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا أَن لَن يُبعَثوا ۚ قُل بَلىٰ وَرَبّى لَتُبعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِما عَمِلتُم ۚ وَذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسيرٌ
[7] কাফেররা দাবী করে যে, তারা কখনও পুনরুত্থিত হবে না। বলুন, অবশ্যই হবে, আমার পালনকর্তার কসম, তোমরা নিশ্চয় পুরুত্থিত হবে। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অবহিত করা হবে যা তোমরা করতে। এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
[7] The disbelievers pretend that they will never be resurrected (for the Account). Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Yes! By my Lord, you will certainly be resurrected, then you will be informed of (and recompensed for) what you did, and that is easy for Allâh.

[8] فَـٔامِنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ وَالنّورِ الَّذى أَنزَلنا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرٌ
[8] অতএব তোমরা আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূল এবং অবতীর্ন নূরের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। তোমরা যা কর, সে বিষয়ে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবগত।
[8] Therefore, believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and in the Light (this Qur’ân) which We have sent down. And Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.

[9] يَومَ يَجمَعُكُم لِيَومِ الجَمعِ ۖ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ التَّغابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعمَل صٰلِحًا يُكَفِّر عَنهُ سَيِّـٔاتِهِ وَيُدخِلهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ
[9] সেদিন অর্থাৎ, সমাবেশের দিন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন। এ দিন হার-জিতের দিন। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপসমূহ মোচন করবেন এবং তাকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন। যার তলদেশে নির্ঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হবে, তারা তথায় চিরকাল বসবাস করবে। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
[9] (And remember) the Day when He will gather you (all) on the Day of Gathering, that will be the Day of mutual loss and gain (i.e. loss for the disbelievers as they will enter the Hell-fire and gain for the believers as they will enter Paradise). And whosoever believes in Allâh and performs righteous good deeds, He will expiate from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever, that will be the great success.

[10] وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا وَكَذَّبوا بِـٔايٰتِنا أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ النّارِ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ
[10] আর যারা কাফের এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী, তারা তথায় অনন্তকাল থাকবে। কতই না মন্দ প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল এটা।
[10] But those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they will be the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein forever. And worst indeed is that destination

[11] ما أَصابَ مِن مُصيبَةٍ إِلّا بِإِذنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهدِ قَلبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَليمٌ
[11] আল্লাহর নির্দেশ ব্যতিরেকে কোন বিপদ আসে না এবং যে আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, তিনি তার অন্তরকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক পরিজ্ঞাত।
[11] No calamity befalls, but by the Leave [i.e. Decision and Qadar (Divine Preordainments)] of Allâh, and whosoever believes in Allâh, He guides his heart

[to the true Faith with certainty, i.e. what has befallen him was already
written for him by Allâh from the Qadar (Divine Preordainments)]

, And Allâh is the All-Knower of everything.

[12] وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطيعُوا الرَّسولَ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيتُم فَإِنَّما عَلىٰ رَسولِنَا البَلٰغُ المُبينُ
[12] তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য কর এবং রসূলুল্লাহর আনুগত্য কর। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে আমার রসূলের দায়িত্ব কেবল খোলাখুলি পৌছে দেয়া।
[12] Obey Allâh, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), but if you turn away, then the duty of Our Messenger is only to convey (the Message) clearly.

[13] اللَّهُ لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَليَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤمِنونَ
[13] আল্লাহ তিনি ব্যতীত কোন মাবুদ নেই। অতএব মুমিনগণ আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করুক।
[13] Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), And in Allâh (Alone), therefore, let the believers put their trust.

[14] يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِنَّ مِن أَزوٰجِكُم وَأَولٰدِكُم عَدُوًّا لَكُم فَاحذَروهُم ۚ وَإِن تَعفوا وَتَصفَحوا وَتَغفِروا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[14] হে মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের কোন কোন স্ত্রী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তোমাদের দুশমন। অতএব তাদের ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাক। যদি মার্জনা কর, উপেক্ষা কর, এবং ক্ষমা কর, তবে আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
[14] O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children are your enemies (who may stop you from the obedience of Allâh), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[15] إِنَّما أَموٰلُكُم وَأَولٰدُكُم فِتنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجرٌ عَظيمٌ
[15] তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তো কেবল পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ। আর আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।
[15] Your wealth and your children are only a trial, whereas Allâh! With Him is a great reward (Paradise).

[16] فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا استَطَعتُم وَاسمَعوا وَأَطيعوا وَأَنفِقوا خَيرًا لِأَنفُسِكُم ۗ وَمَن يوقَ شُحَّ نَفسِهِ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُفلِحونَ
[16] অতএব তোমরা যথাসাধ্য আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, শুন, আনুগত্য কর এবং ব্যয় কর। এটা তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর। যারা মনের কার্পন্য থেকে মুক্ত, তারাই সফলকাম।
[16] So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can; listen and obey; and spend in charity, that is better for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are the successful ones.

[17] إِن تُقرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرضًا حَسَنًا يُضٰعِفهُ لَكُم وَيَغفِر لَكُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَكورٌ حَليمٌ
[17] যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দান কর, তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা দ্বিগুণ করে দেবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন। আল্লাহ গুণগ্রাহী, সহনশীল।
[17] If you lend Allâh a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allâh’s Cause) He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allâh is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing,

[18] عٰلِمُ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
[18] তিনি দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী, পরাক্রান্ত, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[18] All-Knower of the unseen and seen, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] يٰأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ إِذا طَلَّقتُمُ النِّساءَ فَطَلِّقوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحصُوا العِدَّةَ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُم ۖ لا تُخرِجوهُنَّ مِن بُيوتِهِنَّ وَلا يَخرُجنَ إِلّا أَن يَأتينَ بِفٰحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَتِلكَ حُدودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدودَ اللَّهِ فَقَد ظَلَمَ نَفسَهُ ۚ لا تَدرى لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحدِثُ بَعدَ ذٰلِكَ أَمرًا
[1] হে নবী, তোমরা যখন স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিতে চাও, তখন তাদেরকে তালাক দিয়ো ইদ্দতের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রেখে এবং ইদ্দত গণনা করো। তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। তাদেরকে তাদের গৃহ থেকে বহিস্কার করো না এবং তারাও যেন বের না হয় যদি না তারা কোন সুস্পষ্ট নির্লজ্জ কাজে লিপ্ত হয়। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সীমালংঘন করে, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্ট করে। সে জানে না, হয়তো আল্লাহ এই তালাকের পর কোন নতুন উপায় করে দেবেন।
[1] O Prophet (SAW)! When you divorce women, divorce them at their ‘Iddah (prescribed periods), and count (accurately) their ‘Iddah (periods ). And fear Allâh your Lord (O Muslims), And turn them not out of their (husband’s) homes, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open illegal sexual intercourse. And those are the set limits of Allâh. And whosoever transgresses the set limits of Allâh, then indeed he has wronged himself. You (the one who divorces his wife) know not, it may be that Allâh will afterward bring some new thing to pass (i.e. to return her back to you if that was the first or second divorce).

[2] فَإِذا بَلَغنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمسِكوهُنَّ بِمَعروفٍ أَو فارِقوهُنَّ بِمَعروفٍ وَأَشهِدوا ذَوَى عَدلٍ مِنكُم وَأَقيمُوا الشَّهٰدَةَ لِلَّهِ ۚ ذٰلِكُم يوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كانَ يُؤمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَاليَومِ الءاخِرِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجعَل لَهُ مَخرَجًا
[2] অতঃপর তারা যখন তাদের ইদ্দতকালে পৌঁছে, তখন তাদেরকে যথোপযুক্ত পন্থায় রেখে দেবে অথবা যথোপযুক্ত পন্থায় ছেড়ে দেবে এবং তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য লোককে সাক্ষী রাখবে। তোমরা আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে সাক্ষ্য দিবে। এতদ্দ্বারা যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে, তাকে উপদেশ দেয়া হচ্ছে। আর যে আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্যে নিস্কৃতির পথ করে দেবেন।
[2] Then when they are about to attain their term appointed, either take them back in a good manner or part with them in a good manner. And take as witness two just persons from among you (Muslims). And establish the testimony for Allâh. That will be an admonition given to him who believes in Allâh and the Last Day. And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).

[3] وَيَرزُقهُ مِن حَيثُ لا يَحتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسبُهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بٰلِغُ أَمرِهِ ۚ قَد جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدرًا
[3] এবং তাকে তার ধারণাতীত জায়গা থেকে রিযিক দেবেন। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করে তার জন্যে তিনিই যথেষ্ট। আল্লাহ তার কাজ পূর্ণ করবেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর জন্যে একটি পরিমাণ স্থির করে রেখেছেন।
[3] And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allâh will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allâh has set a measure for all things.

[4] وَالّٰـٔى يَئِسنَ مِنَ المَحيضِ مِن نِسائِكُم إِنِ ارتَبتُم فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلٰثَةُ أَشهُرٍ وَالّٰـٔى لَم يَحِضنَ ۚ وَأُولٰتُ الأَحمالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعنَ حَملَهُنَّ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجعَل لَهُ مِن أَمرِهِ يُسرًا
[4] তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যাদের ঋতুবর্তী হওয়ার আশা নেই, তাদের ব্যাপারে সন্দেহ হলে তাদের ইদ্দত হবে তিন মাস। আর যারা এখনও ঋতুর বয়সে পৌঁছেনি, তাদেরও অনুরূপ ইদ্দতকাল হবে। গর্ভবর্তী নারীদের ইদ্দতকাল সন্তানপ্রসব পর্যন্ত। যে আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, আল্লাহ তার কাজ সহজ করে দেন।
[4] And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed periods), if you have doubt (about their period), is three months, and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death] . And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is until they laydown their burden, and whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.

[5] ذٰلِكَ أَمرُ اللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُ إِلَيكُم ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّر عَنهُ سَيِّـٔاتِهِ وَيُعظِم لَهُ أَجرًا
[5] এটা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ, যা তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি নাযিল করেছেন। যে আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, আল্লাহ তার পাপ মোচন করেন এবং তাকে মহাপুরস্কার দেন।
[5] That is the Command of Allâh, which He has sent down to you, and whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will expiate from him his sins, and will enlarge his reward.
