[17] فَكانَ عٰقِبَتَهُما أَنَّهُما فِى النّارِ خٰلِدَينِ فيها ۚ وَذٰلِكَ جَزٰؤُا۟ الظّٰلِمينَ
[17] অতঃপর উভয়ের পরিণতি হবে এই যে, তারা জাহান্নামে যাবে এবং চিরকাল তথায় বসবাস করবে। এটাই জালেমদের শাস্তি।
[17] So the end of both will be that they will be in the Fire, abiding therein. Such is the recompense of the Zâlimûn (i.e. polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in Allâh and in His Oneness).

[18] يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلتَنظُر نَفسٌ ما قَدَّمَت لِغَدٍ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبيرٌ بِما تَعمَلونَ
[18] মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় কর। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তির উচিত, আগামী কালের জন্যে সে কি প্রেরণ করে, তা চিন্তা করা। আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় করতে থাক। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা’আলা সে সম্পর্কে খবর রাখেন।
[18] O you who believe! Fear Allâh and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.

[19] وَلا تَكونوا كَالَّذينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنسىٰهُم أَنفُسَهُم ۚ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الفٰسِقونَ
[19] তোমরা তাদের মত হয়ো না, যারা আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভুলে গেছে। ফলে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে আত্ন বিস্মৃত করে দিয়েছেন। তারাই অবাধ্য।
[19] And be not like those who forgot Allâh (i.e. became disobedient to Allâh) and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

[20] لا يَستَوى أَصحٰبُ النّارِ وَأَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ ۚ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ هُمُ الفائِزونَ
[20] জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী এবং জান্নাতের অধিবাসী সমান হতে পারে না। যারা জান্নাতের অধিবাসী, তারাই সফলকাম।
[20] Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the dwellers of Paradise that will be successful.

[21] لَو أَنزَلنا هٰذَا القُرءانَ عَلىٰ جَبَلٍ لَرَأَيتَهُ خٰشِعًا مُتَصَدِّعًا مِن خَشيَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلكَ الأَمثٰلُ نَضرِبُها لِلنّاسِ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَفَكَّرونَ
[21] যদি আমি এই কোরআন পাহাড়ের উপর অবতীর্ণ করতাম, তবে তুমি দেখতে যে, পাহাড় বিনীত হয়ে আল্লাহ তা’আলার ভয়ে বিদীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আমি এসব দৃষ্টান্ত মানুষের জন্যে বর্ণনা করি, যাতে তারা চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে।
[21] Had We sent down this Qur’ân on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rendt asunder by the fear of Allâh. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.

[22] هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذى لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۖ عٰلِمُ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ ۖ هُوَ الرَّحمٰنُ الرَّحيمُ
[22] তিনিই আল্লাহ তা’আলা, তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই; তিনি দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যকে জানেন তিনি পরম দয়ালু, অসীম দাতা।
[22] He is Allâh, beside Whom Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

[23] هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذى لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ المَلِكُ القُدّوسُ السَّلٰمُ المُؤمِنُ المُهَيمِنُ العَزيزُ الجَبّارُ المُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبحٰنَ اللَّهِ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ
[23] তিনিই আল্লাহ তিনি ব্যতিত কোন উপাস্য নেই। তিনিই একমাত্র মালিক, পবিত্র, শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তাদাতা, আশ্রয়দাতা, পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতাপান্বিত, মাহাত্নøশীল। তারা যাকে অংশীদার করে আল্লাহ তা’ আলা তা থেকে পবিত্র।
[23] He is Allâh beside Whom is Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allâh! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.

[24] هُوَ اللَّهُ الخٰلِقُ البارِئُ المُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ الأَسماءُ الحُسنىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
[24] তিনিই আল্লাহ তা’আলা, স্রষ্টা, উদ্ভাবক, রূপদাতা, উত্তম নাম সমূহ তাঁরই। নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূমন্ডলে যা কিছু আছে, সবই তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে। তিনি পরাক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[24] He is Allâh, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names . All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا لا تَتَّخِذوا عَدُوّى وَعَدُوَّكُم أَولِياءَ تُلقونَ إِلَيهِم بِالمَوَدَّةِ وَقَد كَفَروا بِما جاءَكُم مِنَ الحَقِّ يُخرِجونَ الرَّسولَ وَإِيّاكُم ۙ أَن تُؤمِنوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُم إِن كُنتُم خَرَجتُم جِهٰدًا فى سَبيلى وَابتِغاءَ مَرضاتى ۚ تُسِرّونَ إِلَيهِم بِالمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنا۠ أَعلَمُ بِما أَخفَيتُم وَما أَعلَنتُم ۚ وَمَن يَفعَلهُ مِنكُم فَقَد ضَلَّ سَواءَ السَّبيلِ
[1] মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আমার ও তোমাদের শত্রুদেরকে বন্ধরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তোমরা তো তাদের প্রতি বন্ধুত্বের বার্তা পাঠাও, অথচ তারা যে সত্য তোমাদের কাছে আগমন করেছে, তা অস্বীকার করছে। তারা রসূলকে ও তোমাদেরকে বহিস্কার করে এই অপরাধে যে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ। যদি তোমরা আমার সন্তুষ্টিলাভের জন্যে এবং আমার পথে জেহাদ করার জন্যে বের হয়ে থাক, তবে কেন তাদের প্রতি গোপনে বন্ধুত্বের পয়গাম প্রেরণ করছ? তোমরা যা গোপন কর এবং যা প্রকাশ কর, ত আমি খুব জানি। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে এটা করে, সে সরলপথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যায়।
[1] O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, this Qur’ân, and Muhammad SAW), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allâh your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, from the Straight Path.

[2] إِن يَثقَفوكُم يَكونوا لَكُم أَعداءً وَيَبسُطوا إِلَيكُم أَيدِيَهُم وَأَلسِنَتَهُم بِالسّوءِ وَوَدّوا لَو تَكفُرونَ
[2] তোমাদেরকে করতলগত করতে পারলে তারা তোমাদের শত্রু হয়ে যাবে এবং মন্দ উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের প্রতি বাহু ও রসনা প্রসারিত করবে এবং চাইবে যে, কোনরূপে তোমরা ও কাফের হয়ে যাও।
[2] Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.

[3] لَن تَنفَعَكُم أَرحامُكُم وَلا أَولٰدُكُم ۚ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ يَفصِلُ بَينَكُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ
[3] তোমাদের স্বজন-পরিজন ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কেয়ামতের দিন কোন উপকারে আসবে না। তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
[3] Neither your relatives nor your children will benefit you on the Day of Resurrection (against Allâh). He will judge between you. And Allâh is the All-Seer of what you do.

[4] قَد كانَت لَكُم أُسوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فى إِبرٰهيمَ وَالَّذينَ مَعَهُ إِذ قالوا لِقَومِهِم إِنّا بُرَءٰؤُا۟ مِنكُم وَمِمّا تَعبُدونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرنا بِكُم وَبَدا بَينَنا وَبَينَكُمُ العَدٰوَةُ وَالبَغضاءُ أَبَدًا حَتّىٰ تُؤمِنوا بِاللَّهِ وَحدَهُ إِلّا قَولَ إِبرٰهيمَ لِأَبيهِ لَأَستَغفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَما أَملِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَيءٍ ۖ رَبَّنا عَلَيكَ تَوَكَّلنا وَإِلَيكَ أَنَبنا وَإِلَيكَ المَصيرُ
[4] তোমাদের জন্যে ইব্রাহীম ও তাঁর সঙ্গীগণের মধ্যে চমৎকার আদর্শ রয়েছে। তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলঃ তোমাদের সাথে এবং তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যার এবাদত কর, তার সাথে আমাদের কোন সম্পর্ক নেই। আমরা তোমাদের মানি না। তোমরা এক আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না করলে তোমাদের মধ্যে ও আমাদের মধ্যে চিরশত্রুতা থাকবে। কিন্তু ইব্রাহীমের উক্তি তাঁর পিতার উদ্দেশে এই আদর্শের ব্যতিক্রম। তিনি বলেছিলেনঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমার জন্য ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা করব। তোমার উপকারের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে আমার আর কিছু করার নেই। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমরা তোমারই উপর ভরসা করেছি, তোমারই দিকে মুখ করেছি এবং তোমারই নিকট আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন।
[4] Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrâhim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people: “Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allâh, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allâh Alone,” except the saying of Ibrâhim (Abraham) to his father: “Verily, I will ask forgiveness (from Allâh) for you, but I have no power to do anything for you before Allâh .” Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return,

[5] رَبَّنا لا تَجعَلنا فِتنَةً لِلَّذينَ كَفَروا وَاغفِر لَنا رَبَّنا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
[5] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তুমি আমাদেরকে কাফেরদের জন্য পরীক্ষার পাত্র করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদের ক্ষমা কর। নিশ্চয় তুমি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[5] “Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the disbelievers, and forgive us, Our Lord! Verily, You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.”

[6] لَقَد كانَ لَكُم فيهِم أُسوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَن كانَ يَرجُوا اللَّهَ وَاليَومَ الءاخِرَ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الغَنِىُّ الحَميدُ
[6] তোমরা যারা আল্লাহ ও পরকাল প্রত্যাশা কর, তোমাদের জন্য তাদের মধ্যে উত্তম আদর্শ রয়েছে। আর যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার জানা উচিত যে, আল্লাহ বেপরওয়া, প্রশংসার মালিক।
[6] Certainly, there has been in them an excellent example for you to follow — for those who look forward to (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day. And whosoever turns away, then verily, Allâh is Rich (Free of all needs), Worthy of all Praise.

[7] ۞ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَجعَلَ بَينَكُم وَبَينَ الَّذينَ عادَيتُم مِنهُم مَوَدَّةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ قَديرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[7] যারা তোমাদের শত্রু আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সম্ভবতঃ বন্ধুত্ব সৃষ্টি করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ সবই করতে পারেন এবং আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
[7] Perhaps Allâh will make friendship between you and those whom you hold as enemies. And Allâh has power (over all things), and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[8] لا يَنهىٰكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذينَ لَم يُقٰتِلوكُم فِى الدّينِ وَلَم يُخرِجوكُم مِن دِيٰرِكُم أَن تَبَرّوهُم وَتُقسِطوا إِلَيهِم ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَ
[8] ধর্মের ব্যাপারে যারা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করেনি এবং তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিস্কৃত করেনি, তাদের প্রতি সদাচরণ ও ইনসাফ করতে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নিষেধ করেন না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ইনসাফকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
[8] Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity.

[9] إِنَّما يَنهىٰكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذينَ قٰتَلوكُم فِى الدّينِ وَأَخرَجوكُم مِن دِيٰرِكُم وَظٰهَروا عَلىٰ إِخراجِكُم أَن تَوَلَّوهُم ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمونَ
[9] আল্লাহ কেবল তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করতে নিষেধ করেন, যারা ধর্মের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেছে, তোমাদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিস্কৃত করেছে এবং বহিস্কারকার্যে সহায়তা করেছে। যারা তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে তারাই জালেম।
[9] It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allâh forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers those who disobey Allâh).

[10] يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِذا جاءَكُمُ المُؤمِنٰتُ مُهٰجِرٰتٍ فَامتَحِنوهُنَّ ۖ اللَّهُ أَعلَمُ بِإيمٰنِهِنَّ ۖ فَإِن عَلِمتُموهُنَّ مُؤمِنٰتٍ فَلا تَرجِعوهُنَّ إِلَى الكُفّارِ ۖ لا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَهُم وَلا هُم يَحِلّونَ لَهُنَّ ۖ وَءاتوهُم ما أَنفَقوا ۚ وَلا جُناحَ عَلَيكُم أَن تَنكِحوهُنَّ إِذا ءاتَيتُموهُنَّ أُجورَهُنَّ ۚ وَلا تُمسِكوا بِعِصَمِ الكَوافِرِ وَسـَٔلوا ما أَنفَقتُم وَليَسـَٔلوا ما أَنفَقوا ۚ ذٰلِكُم حُكمُ اللَّهِ ۖ يَحكُمُ بَينَكُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ حَكيمٌ
[10] মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানদার নারীরা হিজরত করে আগমন করে, তখন তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা কর। আল্লাহ তাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত আছেন। যদি তোমরা জান যে, তারা ঈমানদার, তবে আর তাদেরকে কাফেরদের কাছে ফেরত পাঠিও না। এরা কাফেরদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং কাফেররা এদের জন্যে হালাল নয়। কাফেররা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তা তাদের দিয়ে দাও। তোমরা, এই নারীদেরকে প্রাপ্য মোহরানা দিয়ে বিবাহ করলে তোমাদের অপরাধ হবে না। তোমরা কাফের নারীদের সাথে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক বজায় রেখো না। তোমরা যা ব্যয় করেছ, তা চেয়ে নাও এবং তারাও চেয়ে নিবে যা তারা ব্যয় করেছে। এটা আল্লাহর বিধান; তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[10] O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them, Allâh knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, They are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give (the disbelievers) that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr) and let them (the disbelievers) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allâh. He judges between you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[11] وَإِن فاتَكُم شَيءٌ مِن أَزوٰجِكُم إِلَى الكُفّارِ فَعاقَبتُم فَـٔاتُوا الَّذينَ ذَهَبَت أَزوٰجُهُم مِثلَ ما أَنفَقوا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذى أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤمِنونَ
[11] তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফেরদের কাছে থেকে যায়, অতঃপর তোমরা সুযোগ পাও, তখন যাদের স্ত্রী হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে, তাদেরকে তাদের ব্যয়কৃত অর্থের সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাস রাখ।
[11] And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, (as apostates and you asked them to retrun back your Mahr but they refused) — then you went our for a Ghazwah (military expedition) (against them and) gained booty; then pay from that booty to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their Mahr). And fear Allâh in Whom you believe.

[12] يٰأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ إِذا جاءَكَ المُؤمِنٰتُ يُبايِعنَكَ عَلىٰ أَن لا يُشرِكنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيـًٔا وَلا يَسرِقنَ وَلا يَزنينَ وَلا يَقتُلنَ أَولٰدَهُنَّ وَلا يَأتينَ بِبُهتٰنٍ يَفتَرينَهُ بَينَ أَيديهِنَّ وَأَرجُلِهِنَّ وَلا يَعصينَكَ فى مَعروفٍ ۙ فَبايِعهُنَّ وَاستَغفِر لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[12] হে নবী, ঈমানদার নারীরা যখন আপনার কাছে এসে আনুগত্যের শপথ করে যে, তারা আল্লাহর সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না, চুরি করবে না, ব্যভিচার করবে না, তাদের সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করবে না, জারজ সন্তানকে স্বামীর ঔরস থেকে আপন গর্ভজাত সন্তান বলে মিথ্যা দাবী করবে না এবং ভাল কাজে আপনার অবাধ্যতা করবে না, তখন তাদের আনুগত্য গ্রহণ করুন এবং তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
[12] O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you the Bai’âh (pledge), that they will not associate anything in worship with Allâh, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e. by making illegal children belonging to their husbands), and that they will not disobey you in Ma’rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that which Islâm ordains) then accept their Bai’âh (pledge), and ask Allâh to forgive them, Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
