[35] لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ فيها وَلَدَينا مَزيدٌ
[35] তারা তথায় যা চাইবে, তাই পাবে এবং আমার কাছে রয়েছে আরও অধিক।
[35] There they will have all that they desire — and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic swt )

[36] وَكَم أَهلَكنا قَبلَهُم مِن قَرنٍ هُم أَشَدُّ مِنهُم بَطشًا فَنَقَّبوا فِى البِلٰدِ هَل مِن مَحيصٍ
[36] আমি তাদের পূর্বে বহু সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি, তারা এদের অপেক্ষা অধিক শক্তিশালী ছিল এবং দেশে-বিদেশে বিচরণ করে ফিরত। তাদের কোন পলায়ন স্থান ছিল না।
[36] And how many a generation We have destroyed before them, who were stronger in power than they, and (when Our Torment came) they ran for a refuge in the land! Could they find any place of refuge (for them to save themselves from destruction)?

[37] إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَذِكرىٰ لِمَن كانَ لَهُ قَلبٌ أَو أَلقَى السَّمعَ وَهُوَ شَهيدٌ
[37] এতে উপদেশ রয়েছে তার জন্যে, যার অনুধাবন করার মত অন্তর রয়েছে। অথবা সে নিবিষ্ট মনে শ্রবণ করে।
[37] Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful.

[38] وَلَقَد خَلَقنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما فى سِتَّةِ أَيّامٍ وَما مَسَّنا مِن لُغوبٍ
[38] আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ছয়দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং আমাকে কোনরূপ ক্লান্তি স্পর্শ করেনি।
[38] And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.

[39] فَاصبِر عَلىٰ ما يَقولونَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ قَبلَ طُلوعِ الشَّمسِ وَقَبلَ الغُروبِ
[39] অতএব, তারা যা কিছু বলে, তজ্জন্যে আপনি ছবর করুন এবং, সূর্যোদয় ও সূর্যাস্তের পূর্বে আপনার পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
[39] So bear with patience (O Muhammad SAW) all that they say, and glorify the Praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting (i.e. the Fajr, Zuhr, and ‘Asr prayers).

[40] وَمِنَ الَّيلِ فَسَبِّحهُ وَأَدبٰرَ السُّجودِ
[40] রাত্রির কিছু অংশে তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন এবং নামাযের পশ্চাতেও।
[40] And during a part of the night (also), glorify His praises (i.e. Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers), and (so likewise) after the prayers [As-Sunnah, Nawâfil — optional and additional prayers, And also glorify, praise and magnify Allâh – Subhân Allâh, Alhamdu lillâh, Allâhu-Akbar].

[41] وَاستَمِع يَومَ يُنادِ المُنادِ مِن مَكانٍ قَريبٍ
[41] শুন, যে দিন এক আহবানকারী নিকটবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করবে।
[41] And listen on the Day when the caller will call from a near place,

[42] يَومَ يَسمَعونَ الصَّيحَةَ بِالحَقِّ ۚ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الخُروجِ
[42] যেদিন মানুষ নিশ্চিত সেই ভয়াবহ আওয়াজ শুনতে পাবে, সেদিনই পুনরত্থান দিবস।
[42] The Day when they will hear As-Saihah (shout) in truth, that will be the Day of coming out (from the graves i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

[43] إِنّا نَحنُ نُحيۦ وَنُميتُ وَإِلَينَا المَصيرُ
[43] আমি জীবন দান করি, মৃত্যু ঘটাই এবং আমারই দিকে সকলের প্রত্যাবর্তন।
[43] Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return,

[44] يَومَ تَشَقَّقُ الأَرضُ عَنهُم سِراعًا ۚ ذٰلِكَ حَشرٌ عَلَينا يَسيرٌ
[44] যেদিন ভূমন্ডল বিদীর্ণ হয়ে মানুষ ছুটাছুটি করে বের হয়ে আসবে। এটা এমন সমবেত করা, যা আমার জন্যে অতি সহজ।
[44] On the Day when the earth shall be cleft, from off them, (they will come out) hastening forth. That will be a gathering, quite easy for Us.

[45] نَحنُ أَعلَمُ بِما يَقولونَ ۖ وَما أَنتَ عَلَيهِم بِجَبّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّر بِالقُرءانِ مَن يَخافُ وَعيدِ
[45] তারা যা বলে, তা আমি সম্যক অবগত আছি। আপনি তাদের উপর জোরজবরকারী নন। অতএব, যে আমার শাস্তিকে ভয় করে, তাকে কোরআনের মাধ্যমে উপদেশ দান করুন।
[45] We know of best what they say; and you (O Muhammad SAW) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Qur’ân, him who fears My Threat.

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] وَالذّٰرِيٰتِ ذَروًا
[1] কসম ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ুর।
[1] By (the winds) that scatter dust.

[2] فَالحٰمِلٰتِ وِقرًا
[2] অতঃপর বোঝা বহনকারী মেঘের।
[2] And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;

[3] فَالجٰرِيٰتِ يُسرًا
[3] অতঃপর মৃদু চলমান জলযানের,
[3] And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness;

[4] فَالمُقَسِّمٰتِ أَمرًا
[4] অতঃপর কর্ম বন্টনকারী ফেরেশতাগণের,
[4] And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allâh’s) Command;¬

[5] إِنَّما توعَدونَ لَصادِقٌ
[5] তোমাদের প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা অবশ্যই সত্য।
[5] Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds) is surely true.

[6] وَإِنَّ الدّينَ لَوٰقِعٌ
[6] ইনসাফ অবশ্যম্ভাবী।
[6] And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen.

[7] وَالسَّماءِ ذاتِ الحُبُكِ
[7] পথবিশিষ্ট আকাশের কসম,
[7] By the heaven full of paths,

[8] إِنَّكُم لَفى قَولٍ مُختَلِفٍ
[8] তোমরা তো বিরোধপূর্ণ কথা বলছ।
[8] Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Qur’ân).

[9] يُؤفَكُ عَنهُ مَن أُفِكَ
[9] যে ভ্রষ্ট, সেই এ থেকে মুখ ফিরায়,
[9] Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Qur’ân) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment القضاء والقدر of Allâh).
