[13] يٰأَيُّهَا النّاسُ إِنّا خَلَقنٰكُم مِن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثىٰ وَجَعَلنٰكُم شُعوبًا وَقَبائِلَ لِتَعارَفوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكرَمَكُم عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتقىٰكُم ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَليمٌ خَبيرٌ
[13] হে মানব, আমি তোমাদেরকে এক পুরুষ ও এক নারী থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তোমাদেরকে বিভিন্ন জাতি ও গোত্রে বিভক্ত করেছি, যাতে তোমরা পরস্পরে পরিচিতি হও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর কাছে সে-ই সর্বাধিক সম্ভ্রান্ত যে সর্বাধিক পরহেযগার। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, সবকিছুর খবর রাখেন।
[13] O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allâh is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. he is one of the Muttaqûn (pious – see V.2:2). Verily, Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

[14] ۞ قالَتِ الأَعرابُ ءامَنّا ۖ قُل لَم تُؤمِنوا وَلٰكِن قولوا أَسلَمنا وَلَمّا يَدخُلِ الإيمٰنُ فى قُلوبِكُم ۖ وَإِن تُطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ لا يَلِتكُم مِن أَعمٰلِكُم شَيـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[14] মরুবাসীরা বলেঃ আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। বলুনঃ তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করনি; বরং বল, আমরা বশ্যতা স্বীকার করেছি। এখনও তোমাদের অন্তরে বিশ্বাস জন্মেনি। যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য কর, তবে তোমাদের কর্ম বিন্দুমাত্রও নিস্ফল করা হবে না। নিশ্চয়, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম মেহেরবান।
[14] The bedouins say: “We believe.” Say: “You believe not but you only say, ‘We have surrendered (in Islâm),’ for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

[15] إِنَّمَا المُؤمِنونَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ ثُمَّ لَم يَرتابوا وَجٰهَدوا بِأَموٰلِهِم وَأَنفُسِهِم فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الصّٰدِقونَ
[15] তারাই মুমিন, যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনার পর সন্দেহ পোষণ করে না এবং আল্লাহর পথে প্রাণ ও ধন-সম্পদ দ্বারা জেহাদ করে। তারাই সত্যনিষ্ঠ।
[15] Only those are the believers who have believed in Allâh and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allâh. Those! They are the truthful.

[16] قُل أَتُعَلِّمونَ اللَّهَ بِدينِكُم وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَما فِى الأَرضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَليمٌ
[16] বলুনঃ তোমরা কি তোমাদের ধর্ম পরায়ণতা সম্পর্কে আল্লাহকে অবহিত করছ? অথচ আল্লাহ জানেন যা কিছু আছে ভূমন্ডলে এবং যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
[16] Say: “Will you inform Allâh of your religion While Allâh knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allâh is All-Aware of everything.

[17] يَمُنّونَ عَلَيكَ أَن أَسلَموا ۖ قُل لا تَمُنّوا عَلَىَّ إِسلٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيكُم أَن هَدىٰكُم لِلإيمٰنِ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ
[17] তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
[17] They regard as favour to you (O Muhammad SAW) that they have embraced Islâm. Say: “Count not your Islâm as a favour to me. Nay, but Allâh has conferred a favour upon you, that He has guided you to the Faith, if you indeed are true.

[18] إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعلَمُ غَيبَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بَصيرٌ بِما تَعمَلونَ
[18] আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের অদৃশ্য বিষয় জানেন, তোমরা যা কর আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
[18] Verily, Allâh knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allâh is the All-Seer of what you do.

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] ق ۚ وَالقُرءانِ المَجيدِ
[1] ক্বাফ! সম্মানিত কোরআনের শপথ;
[1] Qâf. [These letters (Qâf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Qur’ân.

[2] بَل عَجِبوا أَن جاءَهُم مُنذِرٌ مِنهُم فَقالَ الكٰفِرونَ هٰذا شَيءٌ عَجيبٌ
[2] বরং তারা তাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী আগমন করেছে দেখে বিস্ময় বোধ করে। অতঃপর কাফেররা বলেঃ এটা আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার।
[2] Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: “This is a strange thing!

[3] أَءِذا مِتنا وَكُنّا تُرابًا ۖ ذٰلِكَ رَجعٌ بَعيدٌ
[3] আমরা মরে গেলে এবং মৃত্তিকায় পরিণত হয়ে গেলেও কি পুনরুত্থিত হব? এ প্রত্যাবর্তন সুদূরপরাহত।
[3] “When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return.”

[4] قَد عَلِمنا ما تَنقُصُ الأَرضُ مِنهُم ۖ وَعِندَنا كِتٰبٌ حَفيظٌ
[4] মৃত্তিকা তাদের কতটুকু গ্রাস করবে, তা আমার জানা আছে এবং আমার কাছে আছে সংরক্ষিত কিতাব।
[4] We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees).

[5] بَل كَذَّبوا بِالحَقِّ لَمّا جاءَهُم فَهُم فى أَمرٍ مَريجٍ
[5] বরং তাদের কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তারা তাকে মিথ্যা বলছে। ফলে তারা সংশয়ে পতিত রয়েছে।
[5] Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Qur’ân) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong).

[6] أَفَلَم يَنظُروا إِلَى السَّماءِ فَوقَهُم كَيفَ بَنَينٰها وَزَيَّنّٰها وَما لَها مِن فُروجٍ
[6] তারা কি তাদের উপরস্থিত আকাশের পানে দৃষ্টিপাত করে না আমি কিভাবে তা নির্মাণ করেছি এবং সুশোভিত করেছি? তাতে কোন ছিদ্রও নেই।
[6] Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it?

[7] وَالأَرضَ مَدَدنٰها وَأَلقَينا فيها رَوٰسِىَ وَأَنبَتنا فيها مِن كُلِّ زَوجٍ بَهيجٍ
[7] আমি ভূমিকে বিস্তৃত করেছি, তাতে পর্বতমালার ভার স্থাপন করেছি এবং তাতে সর্বপ্রকার নয়নাভিরাম উদ্ভিদ উদগত করেছি।
[7] And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants).

[8] تَبصِرَةً وَذِكرىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبدٍ مُنيبٍ
[8] এটা জ্ঞান আহরণ ও স্মরণ করার মত ব্যাপার প্রত্যেক অনুরাগী বান্দার জন্যে।
[8] An insight and a Reminder for every slave who turns to Allâh in repentance (i.e. the one who believes in the Oneness of Allâh and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon).

[9] وَنَزَّلنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً مُبٰرَكًا فَأَنبَتنا بِهِ جَنّٰتٍ وَحَبَّ الحَصيدِ
[9] আমি আকাশ থেকে কল্যাণময় বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি এবং তদ্বারা বাগান ও শস্য উদগত করি, যেগুলোর ফসল আহরণ করা হয়।
[9] And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped.

[10] وَالنَّخلَ باسِقٰتٍ لَها طَلعٌ نَضيدٌ
[10] এবং লম্বমান খর্জুর বৃক্ষ, যাতে আছে গুচ্ছ গুচ্ছ খর্জুর,
[10] And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters;

[11] رِزقًا لِلعِبادِ ۖ وَأَحيَينا بِهِ بَلدَةً مَيتًا ۚ كَذٰلِكَ الخُروجُ
[11] বান্দাদের জীবিকাস্বরূপ এবং বৃষ্টি দ্বারা আমি মৃত জনপদকে সঞ্জীবিত করি। এমনিভাবে পুনরুত্থান ঘটবে।
[11] A provision for (Allâh’s) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead).

[12] كَذَّبَت قَبلَهُم قَومُ نوحٍ وَأَصحٰبُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمودُ
[12] তাদের পূর্বে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে নূহের সম্প্রদায়, কুপবাসীরা এবং সামুদ সম্প্রদায়।
[12] Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah) the people of Nûh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamûd,

[13] وَعادٌ وَفِرعَونُ وَإِخوٰنُ لوطٍ
[13] আদ, ফেরাউন, ও লূতের সম্প্রদায়,
[13] And ‘Ad, and Fir’aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lut (Lot),

[14] وَأَصحٰبُ الأَيكَةِ وَقَومُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعيدِ
[14] বনবাসীরা এবং তোব্বা সম্প্রদায়। প্রত্যেকেই রসূলগণকে মিথ্যা বলেছে, অতঃপর আমার শাস্তির যোগ্য হয়েছে।
[14] And the Dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba’; Everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect.
