[5] فَالمُلقِيٰتِ ذِكرًا
[5] ওহী নিয়ে অবতরণকারী ফেরেশতাগণের শপথ-
[5] And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers,

[6] عُذرًا أَو نُذرًا
[6] ওযর-আপত্তির অবকাশ না রাখার জন্যে অথবা সতর্ক করার জন্যে।
[6] To cut off all excuses or to warn;

[7] إِنَّما توعَدونَ لَوٰقِعٌ
[7] নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা বাস্তবায়িত হবে।
[7] Surely, what you are promised must come to pass.

[8] فَإِذَا النُّجومُ طُمِسَت
[8] অতঃপর যখন নক্ষত্রসমুহ নির্বাপিত হবে,
[8] Then when the stars lose their lights;

[9] وَإِذَا السَّماءُ فُرِجَت
[9] যখন আকাশ ছিদ্রযুক্ত হবে,
[9] And when the heaven is cleft asunder;

[10] وَإِذَا الجِبالُ نُسِفَت
[10] যখন পর্বতমালাকে উড়িয়ে দেয়া হবে এবং
[10] And when the mountains are blown away;

[11] وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَت
[11] যখন রসূলগণের একত্রিত হওয়ার সময় নিরূপিত হবে,
[11] And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed;

[12] لِأَىِّ يَومٍ أُجِّلَت
[12] এসব বিষয় কোন দিবসের জন্যে স্থগিত রাখা হয়েছে?
[12] For what Day are these signs postponed?

[13] لِيَومِ الفَصلِ
[13] বিচার দিবসের জন্য।
[13] For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell).

[14] وَما أَدرىٰكَ ما يَومُ الفَصلِ
[14] আপনি জানেন বিচার দিবস কি?
[14] And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out?

[15] وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ
[15] সেদিন মিথ্যারোপকারীদের দুর্ভোগ হবে।
[15] Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!

[16] أَلَم نُهلِكِ الأَوَّلينَ
[16] আমি কি পূর্ববর্তীদেরকে ধ্বংস করিনি?
[16] Did We not destroy the ancients?

[17] ثُمَّ نُتبِعُهُمُ الءاخِرينَ
[17] অতঃপর তাদের পশ্চাতে প্রেরণ করব পরবর্তীদেরকে।
[17] So shall We make later generations to follow them.

[18] كَذٰلِكَ نَفعَلُ بِالمُجرِمينَ
[18] অপরাধীদের সাথে আমি এরূপই করে থাকি।
[18] Thus do We deal with the Mujrimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)!

[19] وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ
[19] সেদিন মিথ্যারোপকারীদের দুর্ভোগ হবে।
[19] Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!

[20] أَلَم نَخلُقكُم مِن ماءٍ مَهينٍ
[20] আমি কি তোমাদেরকে তুচ্ছ পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করিনি?
[20] Did We not create you from a despised water (semen)?

[21] فَجَعَلنٰهُ فى قَرارٍ مَكينٍ
[21] অতঃপর আমি তা রেখেছি এক সংরক্ষিত আধারে,
[21] Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb),

[22] إِلىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعلومٍ
[22] এক নির্দিষ্টকাল পর্যন্ত,
[22] For a known period (determined by gestation)?

[23] فَقَدَرنا فَنِعمَ القٰدِرونَ
[23] অতঃপর আমি পরিমিত আকারে সৃষ্টি করেছি, আমি কত সক্ষম স্রষ্টা?
[23] So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things).

[24] وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ
[24] সেদিন মিথ্যারোপকারীদের দুর্ভোগ হবে।
[24] Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!
