[25] ۞ وَقَيَّضنا لَهُم قُرَناءَ فَزَيَّنوا لَهُم ما بَينَ أَيديهِم وَما خَلفَهُم وَحَقَّ عَلَيهِمُ القَولُ فى أُمَمٍ قَد خَلَت مِن قَبلِهِم مِنَ الجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ ۖ إِنَّهُم كانوا خٰسِرينَ
[25] আমি তাদের পেছনে সঙ্গী লাগিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর সঙ্গীরা তাদের অগ্র-পশ্চাতের আমল তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভনীয় করে দিয়েছিল। তাদের ব্যাপারেও শাস্তির আদেশ বাস্তবায়িত হল, যা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল তাদের পূর্ববতী জিন ও মানুষের ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
[25] And We have assigned them (devils) intimate companions (in this world), who have made fair-seeming to them, what was before them (evil deeds which they were doing in the present worldly life and disbelief in the Reckoning and the Resurrection) and what was behind them (denial of the matters in the coming life of the Hereafter as regards punishment or reward). And the Word (i.e. the torment) is justified against them as it was justified against those who were among the previous generations of jinn and men that had passed away before them. Indeed they (all) were the losers.

[26] وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لا تَسمَعوا لِهٰذَا القُرءانِ وَالغَوا فيهِ لَعَلَّكُم تَغلِبونَ
[26] আর কাফেররা বলে, তোমরা এ কোরআন শ্রবণ করো না এবং এর আবৃত্তিতে হঞ্জগোল সৃষ্টি কর, যাতে তোমরা জয়ী হও।
[26] And those who disbelieve say: “Listen not to this Qur’ân, and make noise in the midst of its (recitation) that you may overcome.”

[27] فَلَنُذيقَنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا عَذابًا شَديدًا وَلَنَجزِيَنَّهُم أَسوَأَ الَّذى كانوا يَعمَلونَ
[27] আমি অবশ্যই কাফেরদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব এবং আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তাদের মন্দ ও হীন কাজের প্রতিফল দেব।
[27] But surely, We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe torment, and certainly, We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do.

[28] ذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ أَعداءِ اللَّهِ النّارُ ۖ لَهُم فيها دارُ الخُلدِ ۖ جَزاءً بِما كانوا بِـٔايٰتِنا يَجحَدونَ
[28] এটা আল্লাহর শত্রুদের শাস্তি-জাহান্নাম। তাতে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে স্থায়ী আবাস, আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করার প্রতিফলস্বরূপ।
[28] That is the recompense of the enemies of Allâh: the Fire. Therein will be for them the eternal home, a (deserving) recompense for that they used to deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

[29] وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا رَبَّنا أَرِنَا الَّذَينِ أَضَلّانا مِنَ الجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ نَجعَلهُما تَحتَ أَقدامِنا لِيَكونا مِنَ الأَسفَلينَ
[29] কাফেররা বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! যেসব জিন ও মানুষ আমাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল, তাদেরকে দেখিয়ে দাও, আমরা তাদেরকে পদদলিত করব, যাতে তারা যথেষ্ট অপমানিত হয়।
[29] And those who disbelieve will say: “Our Lord! Show us those among jinn and men who led us astray, that we may crush them under our feet so that they become the lowest.”

[30] إِنَّ الَّذينَ قالوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ استَقٰموا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيهِمُ المَلٰئِكَةُ أَلّا تَخافوا وَلا تَحزَنوا وَأَبشِروا بِالجَنَّةِ الَّتى كُنتُم توعَدونَ
[30] নিশ্চয় যারা বলে, আমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ, অতঃপর তাতেই অবিচল থাকে, তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা অবতীর্ণ হয় এবং বলে, তোমরা ভয় করো না, চিন্তা করো না এবং তোমাদের প্রতিশ্রুত জান্নাতের সুসংবাদ শোন।
[30] Verily, those who say: “Our Lord is Allâh (Alone),” and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): “Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!

[31] نَحنُ أَولِياؤُكُم فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَفِى الءاخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُم فيها ما تَشتَهى أَنفُسُكُم وَلَكُم فيها ما تَدَّعونَ
[31] ইহকালে ও পরকালে আমরা তোমাদের বন্ধু। সেখানে তোমাদের জন্য আছে যা তোমাদের মন চায় এবং সেখানে তোমাদের জন্যে আছে তোমরা দাবী কর।
[31] “We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask.

[32] نُزُلًا مِن غَفورٍ رَحيمٍ
[32] এটা ক্ষমাশীল করুনাময়ের পক্ষ থেকে সাদর আপ্যায়ন।
[32] “An entertainment from (Allâh), the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

[33] وَمَن أَحسَنُ قَولًا مِمَّن دَعا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صٰلِحًا وَقالَ إِنَّنى مِنَ المُسلِمينَ
[33] যে আল্লাহর দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, সৎকর্ম করে এবং বলে, আমি একজন আজ্ঞাবহ, তার কথা অপেক্ষা উত্তম কথা আর কার?
[33] And who is better in speech than he who [says: “My Lord is Allâh (believes in His Oneness),” and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allâh’s (Islâmic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: “I am one of the Muslims.”

[34] وَلا تَستَوِى الحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ادفَع بِالَّتى هِىَ أَحسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذى بَينَكَ وَبَينَهُ عَدٰوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِىٌّ حَميمٌ
[34] সমান নয় ভাল ও মন্দ। জওয়াবে তাই বলুন যা উৎকৃষ্ট। তখন দেখবেন আপনার সাথে যে ব্যক্তির শত্রুতা রয়েছে, সে যেন অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু।
[34] The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allâh orders the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

[35] وَما يُلَقّىٰها إِلَّا الَّذينَ صَبَروا وَما يُلَقّىٰها إِلّا ذو حَظٍّ عَظيمٍ
[35] এ চরিত্র তারাই লাভ করে, যারা সবর করে এবং এ চরিত্রের অধিকারী তারাই হয়, যারা অত্যন্ত ভাগ্যবান।
[35] But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient – and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of happiness in the Hereafter i.e. Paradise and of a high moral character) in this world.

[36] وَإِمّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيطٰنِ نَزغٌ فَاستَعِذ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ
[36] যদি শয়তানের পক্ষ থেকে আপনি কিছু কুমন্ত্রণা অনুভব করেন, তবে আল্লাহর শরণাপন্ন হোন। নিশ্চয় তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[36] And if an evil whisper from Shaitân (Satan) tries to turn you away (O Muhammad SAW) (from doing good), then seek refuge in Allâh. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

[37] وَمِن ءايٰتِهِ الَّيلُ وَالنَّهارُ وَالشَّمسُ وَالقَمَرُ ۚ لا تَسجُدوا لِلشَّمسِ وَلا لِلقَمَرِ وَاسجُدوا لِلَّهِ الَّذى خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُم إِيّاهُ تَعبُدونَ
[37] তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহের মধ্যে রয়েছে দিবস, রজনী, সূর্য ও চন্দ্র। তোমরা সূর্যকে সেজদা করো না, চন্দ্রকেও না; আল্লাহকে সেজদা কর, যিনি এগুলো সৃষ্টি করেছেন, যদি তোমরা নিষ্ঠার সাথে শুধুমাত্র তাঁরই এবাদত কর।
[37] And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allâh Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.

[38] فَإِنِ استَكبَروا فَالَّذينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحونَ لَهُ بِالَّيلِ وَالنَّهارِ وَهُم لا يَسـَٔمونَ ۩
[38] অতঃপর তারা যদি অহংকার করে, তবে যারা আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে আছে, তারা দিবারাত্রি তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে এবং তারা ক্লান্ত হয় না।
[38] But if they are too proud (to do so), then there are those who are with your Lord (angels) glorify Him night and day, and never are they tired.

[39] وَمِن ءايٰتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الأَرضَ خٰشِعَةً فَإِذا أَنزَلنا عَلَيهَا الماءَ اهتَزَّت وَرَبَت ۚ إِنَّ الَّذى أَحياها لَمُحىِ المَوتىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ
[39] তাঁর এক নিদর্শন এই যে, তুমি ভূমিকে দেখবে অনুর্বর পড়ে আছে। অতঃপর আমি যখন তার উপর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি, তখন সে শস্যশ্যামল ও স্ফীত হয়। নিশ্চয় যিনি একে জীবিত করেন, তিনি জীবিত করবেন মৃতদেরকেও। নিশ্চয় তিনি সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।
[39] And among His Signs (in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things.

[40] إِنَّ الَّذينَ يُلحِدونَ فى ءايٰتِنا لا يَخفَونَ عَلَينا ۗ أَفَمَن يُلقىٰ فِى النّارِ خَيرٌ أَم مَن يَأتى ءامِنًا يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ اعمَلوا ما شِئتُم ۖ إِنَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ
[40] নিশ্চয় যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহের ব্যাপারে বক্রতা অবলম্বন করে, তারা আমার কাছে গোপন নয়। যে ব্যক্তি জাহান্নামে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে সে শ্রেষ্ঠ, না যে কেয়ামতের দিন নিরাপদে আসবে? তোমরা যা ইচ্ছা কর, নিশ্চয় তিনি দেখেন যা তোমরা কর।
[40] Verily, those who turn away from Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc. by attacking, distorting and denying them), are not hidden from Us. Is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will. Verily! He is All-Seer of what you do (this is a severe threat to the disbelievers)

[41] إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِالذِّكرِ لَمّا جاءَهُم ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتٰبٌ عَزيزٌ
[41] নিশ্চয় যারা কোরআন আসার পর তা অস্বীকার করে, তাদের মধ্যে চিন্তা-ভাবনার অভাব রয়েছে। এটা অবশ্যই এক সম্মানিত গ্রন্থ।
[41] Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e. the Qur’ân) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable well-fortified respected Book (because it is Allâh’s Speech, and He has protected it from corruption). (See v.15:9)

[42] لا يَأتيهِ البٰطِلُ مِن بَينِ يَدَيهِ وَلا مِن خَلفِهِ ۖ تَنزيلٌ مِن حَكيمٍ حَميدٍ
[42] এতে মিথ্যার প্রভাব নেই, সামনের দিক থেকেও নেই এবং পেছন দিক থেকেও নেই। এটা প্রজ্ঞাময়, প্রশংসিত আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
[42] Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allâh swt).

[43] ما يُقالُ لَكَ إِلّا ما قَد قيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذو مَغفِرَةٍ وَذو عِقابٍ أَليمٍ
[43] আপনাকে তো তাই বলা হয়, যা বলা হত পূর্ববর্তী রসূলগনকে। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে ক্ষমা এবং রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[43] Nothing is said to you (O Muhammad SAW) except what was said to the Messengers before you. Verily, your Lord is the Possessor of forgiveness, and (also) the Possessor of painful punishment.

[44] وَلَو جَعَلنٰهُ قُرءانًا أَعجَمِيًّا لَقالوا لَولا فُصِّلَت ءايٰتُهُ ۖ ءَأَعجَمِىٌّ وَعَرَبِىٌّ ۗ قُل هُوَ لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا هُدًى وَشِفاءٌ ۖ وَالَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ فى ءاذانِهِم وَقرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيهِم عَمًى ۚ أُولٰئِكَ يُنادَونَ مِن مَكانٍ بَعيدٍ
[44] আমি যদি একে অনারব ভাষায় কোরআন করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, এর আয়াতসমূহ পরিস্কার ভাষায় বিবৃত হয়নি কেন? কি আশ্চর্য যে, কিতাব অনারব ভাষায় আর রসূল আরবী ভাষী! বলুন, এটা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য হেদায়েত ও রোগের প্রতিকার। যারা মুমিন নয়, তাদের কানে আছে ছিপি, আর কোরআন তাদের জন্যে অন্ধত্ব। তাদেরকে যেন দূরবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করা হয়।
[44] And if We had sent this as a Qur’ân in a foreign language (other than Arabic), they would have said: “Why are not its Verses explained in detail (in our language)? What! (A Book) not in Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?” Say: “It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) in their ears, and it (the Qur’ân) is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand).
