[11] فاطِرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِن أَنفُسِكُم أَزوٰجًا وَمِنَ الأَنعٰمِ أَزوٰجًا ۖ يَذرَؤُكُم فيهِ ۚ لَيسَ كَمِثلِهِ شَيءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّميعُ البَصيرُ
[11] তিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের স্রষ্টা। তিনি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের মধ্য থেকে জোড়া সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এভাবে তিনি তোমাদের বংশ বিস্তার করেন। কোন কিছুই তাঁর অনুরূপ নয়। তিনি সব শুনেন, সব দেখেন।
[11] The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He creates you (in the wombs). There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

[12] لَهُ مَقاليدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَليمٌ
[12] আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর চাবি তাঁর কাছে। তিনি যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং পরিমিত করেন। তিনি সর্ব বিষয়ে জ্ঞানী।
[12] To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily! He is the All-Knower of everything.

[13] ۞ شَرَعَ لَكُم مِنَ الدّينِ ما وَصّىٰ بِهِ نوحًا وَالَّذى أَوحَينا إِلَيكَ وَما وَصَّينا بِهِ إِبرٰهيمَ وَموسىٰ وَعيسىٰ ۖ أَن أَقيمُوا الدّينَ وَلا تَتَفَرَّقوا فيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى المُشرِكينَ ما تَدعوهُم إِلَيهِ ۚ اللَّهُ يَجتَبى إِلَيهِ مَن يَشاءُ وَيَهدى إِلَيهِ مَن يُنيبُ
[13] তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীনের ক্ষেত্রে সে পথই নিধারিত করেছেন, যার আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন নূহকে, যা আমি প্রত্যাদেশ করেছি আপনার প্রতি এবং যার আদেশ দিয়েছিলাম ইব্রাহীম, মূসা ও ঈসাকে এই মর্মে যে, তোমরা দ্বীনকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত কর এবং তাতে অনৈক্য সৃষ্টি করো না। আপনি মূশরেকদেরকে যে বিষয়ের প্রতি আমন্ত্রণ জানান, তা তাদের কাছে দুঃসাধ্য বলে মনে হয়। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করেন এবং যে তাঁর অভিমুখী হয়, তাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন।
[13] He (Allâh) has ordained for you the same religion (Islâmic Monothesim) which He ordained for Nûh (Noah), and that which We have revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW), and that which We ordained for Ibrahîm (Abraham), Mûsa (Moses) and ‘Īsā (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikûn , is that (Islâmic Monothesim) to which you (O Muhammad SAW) call them. Allâh chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides unto Himself who turns to Him in repentance and in obedience.

[14] وَما تَفَرَّقوا إِلّا مِن بَعدِ ما جاءَهُمُ العِلمُ بَغيًا بَينَهُم ۚ وَلَولا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَت مِن رَبِّكَ إِلىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى لَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذينَ أورِثُوا الكِتٰبَ مِن بَعدِهِم لَفى شَكٍّ مِنهُ مُريبٍ
[14] তাদের কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পরই তারা পারস্পরিক বিভেদের কারণে মতভেদ করেছে। যদি আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশের পূর্ব সিদ্ধান্ত না থাকত, তবে তাদের ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। তাদের পর যারা কিতাব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, তারা অস্বস্তিকর সন্দেহে পতিত রয়েছে।
[14] And they divided not till after knowledge had come to them, through (selfish) transgression between themselves. And had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord for an appointed term, the matter would have been settled between them. And verily, those who were made to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurâh (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] after them (i.e. Jews and Christians) are in grave doubt concerning it (i.e. Allâh’s true religion — Islâm or the Qur’ân).

[15] فَلِذٰلِكَ فَادعُ ۖ وَاستَقِم كَما أُمِرتَ ۖ وَلا تَتَّبِع أَهواءَهُم ۖ وَقُل ءامَنتُ بِما أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتٰبٍ ۖ وَأُمِرتُ لِأَعدِلَ بَينَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ رَبُّنا وَرَبُّكُم ۖ لَنا أَعمٰلُنا وَلَكُم أَعمٰلُكُم ۖ لا حُجَّةَ بَينَنا وَبَينَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ يَجمَعُ بَينَنا ۖ وَإِلَيهِ المَصيرُ
[15] সুতরাং আপনি এর প্রতিই দাওয়াত দিন এবং হুকুম অনুযায়ী অবিচল থাকুন; আপনি তাদের খেয়ালখুশীর অনুসরণ করবেন না। বলুন, আল্লাহ যে কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, আমি তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি। আল্লাহ আমাদের পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। আমাদের জন্যে আমাদের কর্ম এবং তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের কর্ম। আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে বিবাদ নেই। আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন এবং তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তণ হবে।
[15] So unto this (religion of Islâm alone and this Qur’ân) then invite (people) (O Muhammad SAW), and stand firm [on Islâmic Monotheism by performing all that is ordained by Allâh (good deeds), and by abstaining from all that is forbidden by Allâh (sins and evil deeds)], as you are commanded, and follow not their desires but say: “I believe in whatsoever Allâh has sent down of the Book [all the holy Books, – this Qur’ân and the Books of the old from the Taurât (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrâhîm (Abraham)] and I am commanded to do justice among you. Allâh is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allâh will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return.”

[16] وَالَّذينَ يُحاجّونَ فِى اللَّهِ مِن بَعدِ مَا استُجيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُم داحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِم وَعَلَيهِم غَضَبٌ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ شَديدٌ
[16] আল্লাহর দ্বীন মেনে নেয়ার পর যারা সে সম্পর্কে বিতর্কে প্রবৃত্ত হয়, তাদের বিতর্ক তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে বাতিল, তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর গযব এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব।
[16] And those who dispute concerning Allâh (His religion of Islâmic Monotheism, with which Muhammad SAW has been sent), after it has been accepted (by the people), of no use is their dispute before their Lord, and on them is wrath, and for them will be a severe torment.

[17] اللَّهُ الَّذى أَنزَلَ الكِتٰبَ بِالحَقِّ وَالميزانَ ۗ وَما يُدريكَ لَعَلَّ السّاعَةَ قَريبٌ
[17] আল্লাহই সত্যসহ কিতাব ও ইনসাফের মানদন্ড নাযিল করেছেন। আপনি কি জানেন, সম্ভবতঃ কেয়ামত নিকটবর্তী।
[17] It is Allâh Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’ân) in truth, and the Balance (i.e. to act justly). And what can make you know that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?

[18] يَستَعجِلُ بِهَا الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِها ۖ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا مُشفِقونَ مِنها وَيَعلَمونَ أَنَّهَا الحَقُّ ۗ أَلا إِنَّ الَّذينَ يُمارونَ فِى السّاعَةِ لَفى ضَلٰلٍ بَعيدٍ
[18] যারা তাতে বিশ্বাস করে না তারা তাকে তড়িৎ কামনা করে। আর যারা বিশ্বাস করে, তারা তাকে ভয় করে এবং জানে যে, তা সত্য। জেনে রাখ, যারা কেয়ামত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে, তারা দূরবর্তী পথ ভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত রয়েছে।
[18] Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it, and know that it is the very truth. Verily, those who dispute concerning the Hour are certainly in error far away.

[19] اللَّهُ لَطيفٌ بِعِبادِهِ يَرزُقُ مَن يَشاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ القَوِىُّ العَزيزُ
[19] আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি দয়ালু। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, রিযিক দান করেন। তিনি প্রবল, পরাক্রমশালী।
[19] Allâh is very Gracious and Kind to His slaves. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.

[20] مَن كانَ يُريدُ حَرثَ الءاخِرَةِ نَزِد لَهُ فى حَرثِهِ ۖ وَمَن كانَ يُريدُ حَرثَ الدُّنيا نُؤتِهِ مِنها وَما لَهُ فِى الءاخِرَةِ مِن نَصيبٍ
[20] যে কেউ পরকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তার জন্যে সেই ফসল বাড়িয়ে দেই। আর যে ইহকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তাকে তার কিছু দিয়ে দেই এবং পরকালে তার কোন অংশ থাকবে না।
[20] Whosoever desires (by his deeds) the reward of the Hereafter, We give him increase in his reward, and whosoever desires the reward of this world (by his deeds), We give him thereof (what is decreed for him), and he has no portion in the Hereafter.

[21] أَم لَهُم شُرَكٰؤُا۟ شَرَعوا لَهُم مِنَ الدّينِ ما لَم يَأذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ ۚ وَلَولا كَلِمَةُ الفَصلِ لَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم ۗ وَإِنَّ الظّٰلِمينَ لَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[21] তাদের কি এমন শরীক দেবতা আছে, যারা তাদের জন্যে সে ধর্ম সিদ্ধ করেছে, যার অনুমতি আল্লাহ দেননি ? যদি চুড়ান্ত সিন্ধান্ত না থাকত, তবে তাদের ব্যাপারে ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। নিশ্চয় যালেমদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[21] Or have they partners with Allâh (false gods), who have instituted for them a religion which Allâh has not ordained? And had it not been for a decisive Word (gone forth already), the matter would have been judged between them. And verily, for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers), there is a painful torment.

[22] تَرَى الظّٰلِمينَ مُشفِقينَ مِمّا كَسَبوا وَهُوَ واقِعٌ بِهِم ۗ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فى رَوضاتِ الجَنّاتِ ۖ لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِم ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَضلُ الكَبيرُ
[22] আপনি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত দেখবেন। তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি অবশ্যই তাদের উপর পতিত হবে। আর যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্মী, তারা জান্নাতের উদ্যানে থাকবে। তারা যা চাইবে, তাই তাদের জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে। এটাই বড় পুরস্কার।
[22] You will see (on the Day of Resurrection), the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) fearful of that which they have earned, and it (Allâh’s Torment) will surely befall them, But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds (will be) in the flowering meadows of the Gardens (Paradise), They shall whatsoever they desire with their Lord. That is the supreme Grace, (Paradise).

[23] ذٰلِكَ الَّذى يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبادَهُ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ۗ قُل لا أَسـَٔلُكُم عَلَيهِ أَجرًا إِلَّا المَوَدَّةَ فِى القُربىٰ ۗ وَمَن يَقتَرِف حَسَنَةً نَزِد لَهُ فيها حُسنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ شَكورٌ
[23] এরই সুসংবাদ দেন আল্লাহ তার সেসব বান্দাকে, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে। বলুন, আমি আমার দাওয়াতের জন্যে তোমাদের কাছে কেবল আত্নীয়তাজনিত সৌহার্দ চাই। যে কেউ উত্তম কাজ করে, আমি তার জন্যে তাতে পুণ্য বাড়িয়ে দেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী, গুণগ্রাহী।
[23] That is (the Paradise) whereof Allâh gives glad tidings to His slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh — Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds. Say (O Muhammad SAW): “No reward do I ask of you for this except to be kind to me for my kinship with you.” And whoever earns a good righteous deed, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (the deeds of those who are obedient to Him).

[24] أَم يَقولونَ افتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يَختِم عَلىٰ قَلبِكَ ۗ وَيَمحُ اللَّهُ البٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ
[24] নাকি তারা একথা বলে যে, তিনি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা রটনা করেছেন? আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে আপনার অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দিতেন। বস্তুতঃ তিনি মিথ্যাকে মিটিয়ে দেন এবং নিজ বাক্য দ্বারা সত্যকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তর্নিহিত বিষয় সম্পর্কে সর্বিশেষ জ্ঞাত।
[24] Or say they: “He has invented a lie against Allâh?” If Allâh willed, He could have sealed up your heart (so that you forget all that you know of the Qur’an). And Allâh wipes out falsehood, and establishes the truth (Islâm) by His Word (this Qur’an). Verily, He knows well what (the secrets) are in the breasts (of mankind).

[25] وَهُوَ الَّذى يَقبَلُ التَّوبَةَ عَن عِبادِهِ وَيَعفوا عَنِ السَّيِّـٔاتِ وَيَعلَمُ ما تَفعَلونَ
[25] তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের তওবা কবুল করেন পাপসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তোমাদের কৃত বিষয় সম্পর্কে অবগত রয়েছেন।
[25] And He it is Who accepts repentance from His slaves, and forgives sins, and He knows what you do.

[26] وَيَستَجيبُ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَيَزيدُهُم مِن فَضلِهِ ۚ وَالكٰفِرونَ لَهُم عَذابٌ شَديدٌ
[26] তিনি মুমিন ও সৎকর্মীদের দোয়া শোনেন এবং তাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ বাড়িয়ে দেন। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি।
[26] And He answers (the invocation of) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh — Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and gives them increase of His Bounty. And as for the disbelievers, theirs will be a severe torment.

[27] ۞ وَلَو بَسَطَ اللَّهُ الرِّزقَ لِعِبادِهِ لَبَغَوا فِى الأَرضِ وَلٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ ما يَشاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِعِبادِهِ خَبيرٌ بَصيرٌ
[27] যদি আল্লাহ তাঁর সকল বান্দাকে প্রচুর রিযিক দিতেন, তবে তারা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করত। কিন্তু তিনি যে পরিমাণ ইচ্ছা সে পরিমাণ নাযিল করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের খবর রাখেন ও সবকিছু দেখেন।
[27] And if Allâh were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them).

[28] وَهُوَ الَّذى يُنَزِّلُ الغَيثَ مِن بَعدِ ما قَنَطوا وَيَنشُرُ رَحمَتَهُ ۚ وَهُوَ الوَلِىُّ الحَميدُ
[28] মানুষ নিরাশ হয়ে যাওয়ার পরে তিনি বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করেন এবং স্বীয় রহমত ছড়িয়ে দেন। তিনিই কার্যনির্বাহী, প্রশংসিত।
[28] And He it is Who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and spreads His Mercy. And He is the Walî (Helper, Supporter, Protector, Lord), Worthy of all Praise.

[29] وَمِن ءايٰتِهِ خَلقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَما بَثَّ فيهِما مِن دابَّةٍ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ جَمعِهِم إِذا يَشاءُ قَديرٌ
[29] তাঁর এক নিদর্শন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের সৃষ্টি এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে তিনি যেসব জীব-জন্তু ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন। তিনি যখন ইচ্ছা এগুলোকে একত্রিত করতে সক্ষম।
[29] And among His Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and whatever moving (living) creatures He has dispersed in them both. And He is All-Potent over their assembling (i.e. resurrecting them on the Day of Resurrection after their death, and dispersion of their bodies) whenever He wills.

[30] وَما أَصٰبَكُم مِن مُصيبَةٍ فَبِما كَسَبَت أَيديكُم وَيَعفوا عَن كَثيرٍ
[30] তোমাদের উপর যেসব বিপদ-আপদ পতিত হয়, তা তোমাদের কর্মেরই ফল এবং তিনি তোমাদের অনেক গোনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেন।
[30] And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. (See the Qur’ân Verse 35:45)
