[41] وَاذكُر عَبدَنا أَيّوبَ إِذ نادىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنّى مَسَّنِىَ الشَّيطٰنُ بِنُصبٍ وَعَذابٍ
[41] স্মরণ করুণ, আমার বান্দা আইয়্যুবের কথা, যখন সে তার পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে বললঃ শয়তান আমাকে যন্ত্রণা ও কষ্ট পৌছিয়েছে।
[41] And remember Our slave Ayyûb (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): “Verily! Shaitân (Satan) has touched me with distress (by ruing my health) and torment (by ruing my wealth)!

[42] اركُض بِرِجلِكَ ۖ هٰذا مُغتَسَلٌ بارِدٌ وَشَرابٌ
[42] তুমি তোমার পা দিয়ে ভূমিতে আঘাত কর। ঝরণা নির্গত হল গোসল করার জন্যে শীতল ও পান করার জন্যে।
[42] (Allâh said to him): “Strike the ground with your foot: This is (a spring of) water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink.”

[43] وَوَهَبنا لَهُ أَهلَهُ وَمِثلَهُم مَعَهُم رَحمَةً مِنّا وَذِكرىٰ لِأُولِى الأَلبٰبِ
[43] আমি তাকে দিলাম তার পরিজনবর্গ ও তাদের মত আরও অনেক আমার পক্ষ থেকে রহমতস্বরূপ এবং বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশস্বরূপ।
[43] And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand.

[44] وَخُذ بِيَدِكَ ضِغثًا فَاضرِب بِهِ وَلا تَحنَث ۗ إِنّا وَجَدنٰهُ صابِرًا ۚ نِعمَ العَبدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوّابٌ
[44] তুমি তোমার হাতে এক মুঠো তৃণশলা নাও, তদ্বারা আঘাত কর এবং শপথ ভঙ্গ করো না। আমি তাকে পেলাম সবরকারী। চমৎকার বান্দা সে। নিশ্চয় সে ছিল প্রত্যাবর্তনশীল।
[44] “And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath . Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)!

[45] وَاذكُر عِبٰدَنا إِبرٰهيمَ وَإِسحٰقَ وَيَعقوبَ أُولِى الأَيدى وَالأَبصٰرِ
[45] স্মরণ করুন, হাত ও চোখের অধিকারী আমার বান্দা ইব্রাহীম, ইসহাক ও ইয়াকুবের কথা।
[45] And remember Our slaves, Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ishâq (Isaac), and Ya’qûb (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding.

[46] إِنّا أَخلَصنٰهُم بِخالِصَةٍ ذِكرَى الدّارِ
[46] আমি তাদের এক বিশেষ গুণ তথা পরকালের স্মরণ দ্বারা স্বাতন্ত্র্য দান করেছিলাম।
[46] Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing,— i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allâh and to do good deeds for the Hereafter].

[47] وَإِنَّهُم عِندَنا لَمِنَ المُصطَفَينَ الأَخيارِ
[47] আর তারা আমার কাছে মনোনীত ও সৎলোকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
[47] And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best!

[48] وَاذكُر إِسمٰعيلَ وَاليَسَعَ وَذَا الكِفلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّ مِنَ الأَخيارِ
[48] স্মরণ করুণ, ইসমাঈল, আল ইয়াসা ও যুলকিফলের কথা। তারা প্রত্যেকেই গুনীজন।
[48] And remember Ismâ’il (Ishmael), Al¬Yasa’â (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best.

[49] هٰذا ذِكرٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلمُتَّقينَ لَحُسنَ مَـٔابٍ
[49] এ এক মহৎ আলোচনা। খোদাভীরুদের জন্যে রয়েছে উত্তম ঠিকানা-
[49] This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons – see V.2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), -,

[50] جَنّٰتِ عَدنٍ مُفَتَّحَةً لَهُمُ الأَبوٰبُ
[50] তথা স্থায়ী বসবাসের জান্নাত; তাদের জন্যে তার দ্বার উম্মুক্ত রয়েছে।
[50] ‘Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be opened for them.

[51] مُتَّكِـٔينَ فيها يَدعونَ فيها بِفٰكِهَةٍ كَثيرَةٍ وَشَرابٍ
[51] সেখানে তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসবে। তারা সেখানে চাইবে অনেক ফল-মূল ও পানীয়।
[51] Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks;

[52] ۞ وَعِندَهُم قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرفِ أَترابٌ
[52] তাদের কাছে থাকবে আনতনয়না সমবয়স্কা রমণীগণ।
[52] And beside them will be Qasirat-at-Tarf chaste females (wives) restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands)], (and) of equal ages.

[53] هٰذا ما توعَدونَ لِيَومِ الحِسابِ
[53] তোমাদেরকে এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হচ্ছে বিচার দিবসের জন্যে।
[53] This it is what you (Al-Muttaqûn – the pious. See V.2:2) are promised for the Day of Reckoning!

[54] إِنَّ هٰذا لَرِزقُنا ما لَهُ مِن نَفادٍ
[54] এটা আমার দেয়া রিযিক যা শেষ হবে না।
[54] (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish;

[55] هٰذا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطّٰغينَ لَشَرَّ مَـٔابٍ
[55] এটাতো শুনলে, এখন দুষ্টদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিকৃষ্ট ঠিকানা
[55] This is so! And for the Tâghûn (transgressors, disobedient to Allâh and His Messenger – disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, criminals), will be an evil final return (Fire),

[56] جَهَنَّمَ يَصلَونَها فَبِئسَ المِهادُ
[56] তথা জাহান্নাম। তারা সেখানে প্রবেশ করবে। অতএব, কত নিকৃষ্ট সেই আবাস স্থল।
[56] Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest!

[57] هٰذا فَليَذوقوهُ حَميمٌ وَغَسّاقٌ
[57] এটা উত্তপ্ত পানি ও পঁূজ; অতএব তারা একে আস্বাদন করুক।
[57] This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges.

[58] وَءاخَرُ مِن شَكلِهِ أَزوٰجٌ
[58] এ ধরনের আরও কিছু শাস্তি আছে।
[58] And other (torments) of similar kind — all together!

[59] هٰذا فَوجٌ مُقتَحِمٌ مَعَكُم ۖ لا مَرحَبًا بِهِم ۚ إِنَّهُم صالُوا النّارِ
[59] এই তো একদল তোমাদের সাথে প্রবেশ করছে। তাদের জন্যে অভিনন্দন নেই তারা তো জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
[59] This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire!

[60] قالوا بَل أَنتُم لا مَرحَبًا بِكُم ۖ أَنتُم قَدَّمتُموهُ لَنا ۖ فَبِئسَ القَرارُ
[60] তারা বলবে, তোমাদের জন্যে ও তো অভিনন্দন নেই। তোমরাই আমাদেরকে এ বিপদের সম্মুখীন করেছ। অতএব, এটি কতই না ঘৃণ্য আবাসস্থল।
[60] (The followers of the misleaders will say): “Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!”
