[24] وَقَد أَضَلّوا كَثيرًا ۖ وَلا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمينَ إِلّا ضَلٰلًا
[24] অথচ তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। অতএব আপনি জালেমদের পথভ্রষ্টতাই বাড়িয়ে দিন।
[24] “And indeed they have led many astray. And (O Allâh): ‘Grant no increase to the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers) save error.’ “

[25] مِمّا خَطيـٰٔتِهِم أُغرِقوا فَأُدخِلوا نارًا فَلَم يَجِدوا لَهُم مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَنصارًا
[25] তাদের গোনাহসমূহের দরুন তাদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করা হয়েছে, অতঃপর দাখিল করা হয়েছে জাহান্নামে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা ব্যতীত কাউকে সাহায্যকারী পায়নি।
[25] Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allâh.

[26] وَقالَ نوحٌ رَبِّ لا تَذَر عَلَى الأَرضِ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ دَيّارًا
[26] নূহ আরও বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি পৃথিবীতে কোন কাফের গৃহবাসীকে রেহাই দিবেন না।
[26] And Nûh (Noah) said: “My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth!

[27] إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرهُم يُضِلّوا عِبادَكَ وَلا يَلِدوا إِلّا فاجِرًا كَفّارًا
[27] যদি আপনি তাদেরকে রেহাই দেন, তবে তারা আপনার বান্দাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং জন্ম দিতে থাকবে কেবল পাপাচারী, কাফের।
[27] “If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers.”

[28] رَبِّ اغفِر لى وَلِوٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيتِىَ مُؤمِنًا وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِنٰتِ وَلا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمينَ إِلّا تَبارًا
[28] হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আপনি আমাকে, আমার পিতা-মাতাকে, যারা মুমিন হয়ে আমার গৃহে প্রবেশ করে-তাদেরকে এবং মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারীদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং যালেমদের কেবল ধ্বংসই বৃদ্ধি করুন।
[28] “My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers) grant You no increase but destruction!”

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] قُل أوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ استَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الجِنِّ فَقالوا إِنّا سَمِعنا قُرءانًا عَجَبًا
[1] বলুনঃ আমার প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করা হয়েছে যে, জিনদের একটি দল কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছে, অতঃপর তারা বলেছেঃ আমরা বিস্ময়কর কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছি;
[1] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “It has been revealed to me that a group (from three to ten in number) of jinn listened (to this Qur’ân). They said: ‘Verily! We have heard a wonderful Recitation (this Qur’ân)!

[2] يَهدى إِلَى الرُّشدِ فَـٔامَنّا بِهِ ۖ وَلَن نُشرِكَ بِرَبِّنا أَحَدًا
[2] যা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করে। ফলে আমরা তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমরা কখনও আমাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করব না।
[2] ‘It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allâh).

[3] وَأَنَّهُ تَعٰلىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنا مَا اتَّخَذَ صٰحِبَةً وَلا وَلَدًا
[3] এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই।
[3] ‘And He, exalted is the Majesty of our Lord, has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children).

[4] وَأَنَّهُ كانَ يَقولُ سَفيهُنا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا
[4] আমাদের মধ্যে নির্বোধেরা আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে বাড়াবাড়ির কথাবার্তা বলত।
[4] ‘And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblîs (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinn] used to utter against Allâh that which was an enormity is falsehood.

[5] وَأَنّا ظَنَنّا أَن لَن تَقولَ الإِنسُ وَالجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا
[5] অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম, মানুষ ও জিন কখনও আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলতে পারে না।
[5] ‘And verily, we thought that men and jinn would not utter a lie against Allâh.

[6] وَأَنَّهُ كانَ رِجالٌ مِنَ الإِنسِ يَعوذونَ بِرِجالٍ مِنَ الجِنِّ فَزادوهُم رَهَقًا
[6] অনেক মানুষ অনেক জিনের আশ্রয় নিত, ফলে তারা জিনদের আত্নম্ভরিতা বাড়িয়ে দিত।
[6] ‘And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the males among the jinn, but they (jinn) increased them (mankind) in sin and transgression.

[7] وَأَنَّهُم ظَنّوا كَما ظَنَنتُم أَن لَن يَبعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا
[7] তারা ধারণা করত, যেমন তোমরা মানবেরা ধারণা কর যে, মৃত্যুর পর আল্লাহ তা’আলা কখনও কাউকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন না।
[7] ‘And they thought as you thought, that Allâh will not send any Messenger (to mankind or jinn).

[8] وَأَنّا لَمَسنَا السَّماءَ فَوَجَدنٰها مُلِئَت حَرَسًا شَديدًا وَشُهُبًا
[8] আমরা আকাশ পর্যবেক্ষণ করছি, অতঃপর দেখতে পেয়েছি যে, কঠোর প্রহরী ও উল্কাপিন্ড দ্বারা আকাশ পরিপূর্ণ।
[8] ‘And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.

[9] وَأَنّا كُنّا نَقعُدُ مِنها مَقٰعِدَ لِلسَّمعِ ۖ فَمَن يَستَمِعِ الءانَ يَجِد لَهُ شِهابًا رَصَدًا
[9] আমরা আকাশের বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটিতে সংবাদ শ্রবণার্থে বসতাম। এখন কেউ সংবাদ শুনতে চাইলে সে জলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড ওঁৎ পেতে থাকতে দেখে।
[9] ‘And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.

[10] وَأَنّا لا نَدرى أَشَرٌّ أُريدَ بِمَن فِى الأَرضِ أَم أَرادَ بِهِم رَبُّهُم رَشَدًا
[10] আমরা জানি না পৃথিবীবাসীদের অমঙ্গল সাধন করা অভীষ্ট, না তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের মঙ্গল সাধন করার ইচ্ছা রাখেন।
[10] ‘And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path.

[11] وَأَنّا مِنَّا الصّٰلِحونَ وَمِنّا دونَ ذٰلِكَ ۖ كُنّا طَرائِقَ قِدَدًا
[11] আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
[11] ‘There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups each having a different ways (religious sects).

[12] وَأَنّا ظَنَنّا أَن لَن نُعجِزَ اللَّهَ فِى الأَرضِ وَلَن نُعجِزَهُ هَرَبًا
[12] আমরা বুঝতে পেরেছি যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে পরাস্ত করতে পারব না এবং পলায়ন করেও তাকে অপারক করত পরব না।
[12] ‘And we think that we cannot escape (the punishment of) Allâh in the earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.

[13] وَأَنّا لَمّا سَمِعنَا الهُدىٰ ءامَنّا بِهِ ۖ فَمَن يُؤمِن بِرَبِّهِ فَلا يَخافُ بَخسًا وَلا رَهَقًا
[13] আমরা যখন সুপথের নির্দেশ শুনলাম, তখন তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব, যে তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, সে লোকসান ও জোর-জবরের আশংকা করে না।
[13] ‘And indeed when we heard the Guidance (this Qur’ân), we believed therein (Islâmic Monotheism), and whosoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of a decrease in the reward of his good deeds or an increase in punishment for his sins.

[14] وَأَنّا مِنَّا المُسلِمونَ وَمِنَّا القٰسِطونَ ۖ فَمَن أَسلَمَ فَأُولٰئِكَ تَحَرَّوا رَشَدًا
[14] আমাদের কিছুসংখ্যক আজ্ঞাবহ এবং কিছুসংখ্যক অন্যায়কারী। যারা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়, তারা সৎপথ বেছে নিয়েছে।
[14] ‘And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allâh, after listening to this Qur’ân), and of us some are Al-Qâsitûn (disbelievers — those who have deviated from the Right Path)’. And whosoever has embraced Islâm (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allâh), then such have sought the Right Path.”

[15] وَأَمَّا القٰسِطونَ فَكانوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا
[15] আর যারা অন্যায়কারী, তারা তো জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন।
[15] And as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell,
