بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] طس ۚ تِلكَ ءايٰتُ القُرءانِ وَكِتابٍ مُبينٍ
[1] ত্বা-সীন; এগুলো আল-কোরআনের আয়াত এবং আয়াত সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
[1] Tâ¬Sîn. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Qur’ân, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear;

[2] هُدًى وَبُشرىٰ لِلمُؤمِنينَ
[2] মুমিনদের জন্যে পথ নির্দেশ ও সুসংবাদ।
[2] A guide (to the Right Path); and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allâh (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism)].

[3] الَّذينَ يُقيمونَ الصَّلوٰةَ وَيُؤتونَ الزَّكوٰةَ وَهُم بِالءاخِرَةِ هُم يوقِنونَ
[3] যারা নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত প্রদান করে এবং পরকালে নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাস করে।
[3] Those who perform As¬Salât (Iqâmat¬as¬Salât) and give Zakât and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell).

[4] إِنَّ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ زَيَّنّا لَهُم أَعمٰلَهُم فَهُم يَعمَهونَ
[4] যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না, আমি তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কর্মকান্ডকে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছি। অতএব, তারা উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়।
[4] Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so that they wander about blindly

[5] أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ لَهُم سوءُ العَذابِ وَهُم فِى الءاخِرَةِ هُمُ الأَخسَرونَ
[5] তাদের জন্যেই রয়েছে মন্দ শাস্তি এবং তারাই পরকালে অধিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
[5] They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.

[6] وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى القُرءانَ مِن لَدُن حَكيمٍ عَليمٍ
[6] এবং আপনাকে কোরআন প্রদত্ত হচ্ছে প্রজ্ঞাময়, জ্ঞানময় আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে।
[6] And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are being taught the Qur’ân from the One, All-Wise, All-Knowing.

[7] إِذ قالَ موسىٰ لِأَهلِهِ إِنّى ءانَستُ نارًا سَـٔاتيكُم مِنها بِخَبَرٍ أَو ءاتيكُم بِشِهابٍ قَبَسٍ لَعَلَّكُم تَصطَلونَ
[7] যখন মূসা তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে বললেনঃ আমি অগ্নি দেখেছি, এখন আমি সেখান থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে কোন খবর আনতে পারব অথবা তোমাদের জন্যে জ্বলন্ত অঙ্গার নিয়ে আসতে পারব যাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাতে পার।
[7] (Remember) when Mûsa (Moses) said to his household: “Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves.”

[8] فَلَمّا جاءَها نودِىَ أَن بورِكَ مَن فِى النّارِ وَمَن حَولَها وَسُبحٰنَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
[8] অতঃপর যখন তিনি আগুনের কাছে আসলেন তখন আওয়াজ হল ধন্য তিনি, যিনি আগুনের স্থানে আছেন এবং যারা আগুনের আশেপাশে আছেন। বিশ্ব জাহানের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ পবিত্র ও মহিমান্বিত।
[8] But when he came to it, he was called: “Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified is Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

[9] يٰموسىٰ إِنَّهُ أَنَا اللَّهُ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
[9] হে মূসা, আমি আল্লাহ, প্রবল পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[9] “O Mûsa (Moses)! Verily! It is I, Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

[10] وَأَلقِ عَصاكَ ۚ فَلَمّا رَءاها تَهتَزُّ كَأَنَّها جانٌّ وَلّىٰ مُدبِرًا وَلَم يُعَقِّب ۚ يٰموسىٰ لا تَخَف إِنّى لا يَخافُ لَدَىَّ المُرسَلونَ
[10] আপনি নিক্ষেপ করুন আপনার লাঠি। অতঃপর যখন তিনি তাকে সর্পের ন্যায় ছুটাছুটি করতে দেখলেন, তখন তিনি বিপরীত দিকে ছুটতে লাগলেন এবং পেছন ফিরেও দেখলেন না। হে মূসা, ভয় করবেন না। আমি যে রয়েছি, আমার কাছে পয়গম্বরগণ ভয় করেন না।
[10] “And throw down your stick!” But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said): “O Mûsa (Moses)! Fear not, verily! the Messengers fear not in front of Me.

[11] إِلّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسنًا بَعدَ سوءٍ فَإِنّى غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[11] তবে যে বাড়াবাড়ি করে এরপর মন্দ কর্মের পরিবর্তে সৎকর্ম করে। নিশ্চয় আমি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
[11] “Except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good, then surely, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[12] وَأَدخِل يَدَكَ فى جَيبِكَ تَخرُج بَيضاءَ مِن غَيرِ سوءٍ ۖ فى تِسعِ ءايٰتٍ إِلىٰ فِرعَونَ وَقَومِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُم كانوا قَومًا فٰسِقينَ
[12] আপনার হাত আপনার বগলে ঢুকিয়ে দিন, সুশুভ্র হয়ে বের হবে নির্দোষ অবস্থায়। এগুলো ফেরাউন ও তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে আনীত নয়টি নিদর্শনের অন্যতম। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
[12] “And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir’aun (Pharaoh) and his people, verily they are a people who are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

[13] فَلَمّا جاءَتهُم ءايٰتُنا مُبصِرَةً قالوا هٰذا سِحرٌ مُبينٌ
[13] অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার উজ্জল নিদর্শনাবলী আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, এটা তো সুস্পষ্ট জাদু।
[13] But when Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came to them, clear to see, they said: “This is a manifest magic.”

[14] وَجَحَدوا بِها وَاستَيقَنَتها أَنفُسُهُم ظُلمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ فَانظُر كَيفَ كانَ عٰقِبَةُ المُفسِدينَ
[14] তারা অন্যায় ও অহংকার করে নিদর্শনাবলীকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করল, যদিও তাদের অন্তর এগুলো সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করেছিল। অতএব দেখুন, অনর্থকারীদের পরিণাম কেমন হয়েছিল?
[14] And they belied them (those Ayât) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayât) are from Allâh, and Mûsa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allâh in truth, but they disliked to obey Mûsa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidûn (disbelievers, disobedient to Allâh, evil-doers, liars.).

[15] وَلَقَد ءاتَينا داوۥدَ وَسُلَيمٰنَ عِلمًا ۖ وَقالَا الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذى فَضَّلَنا عَلىٰ كَثيرٍ مِن عِبادِهِ المُؤمِنينَ
[15] আমি অবশ্যই দাউদ ও সুলায়মানকে জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম। তাঁরা বলে ছিলেন, আল্লাহর প্রশংসা, যিনি আমাদেরকে তাঁর অনেক মুমিন বান্দার উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছেন।
[15] And indeed We gave knowledge to Dawûd (David) and Sulaimân (Solomon), and they both said: “All the praises and thanks are to Allâh, Who has preferred us above many of His believing slaves!”

[16] وَوَرِثَ سُلَيمٰنُ داوۥدَ ۖ وَقالَ يٰأَيُّهَا النّاسُ عُلِّمنا مَنطِقَ الطَّيرِ وَأوتينا مِن كُلِّ شَيءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هٰذا لَهُوَ الفَضلُ المُبينُ
[16] সুলায়মান দাউদের উত্তরাধিকারী হয়েছিলেন। বলেছিলেন, ‘হে লোক সকল, আমাকে উড়ন্ত পক্ষীকূলের ভাষা শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে এবং আমাকে সব কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে। নিশ্চয় এটা সুস্পষ্ট শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব। ’
[16] And Sulaimân (Solomon) inherited (the knowledge of) Dawûd (David). He said: “O mankind! We have been taught the language of birds, and on us have been bestowed all things. This, verily, is an evident grace (from Allâh).”

[17] وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيمٰنَ جُنودُهُ مِنَ الجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ وَالطَّيرِ فَهُم يوزَعونَ
[17] সুলায়মানের সামনে তার সেনাবাহিনীকে সমবেত করা হল। জ্বিন-মানুষ ও পক্ষীকুলকে, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বিভিন্ন ব্যূহে বিভক্ত করা হল।
[17] And there were gathered before Sulaimân (Solomon) his hosts of jinn and men, and birds, and they all were set in battle order (marching forward).

[18] حَتّىٰ إِذا أَتَوا عَلىٰ وادِ النَّملِ قالَت نَملَةٌ يٰأَيُّهَا النَّملُ ادخُلوا مَسٰكِنَكُم لا يَحطِمَنَّكُم سُلَيمٰنُ وَجُنودُهُ وَهُم لا يَشعُرونَ
[18] যখন তারা পিপীলিকা অধ্যূষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছাল, তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলল, হে পিপীলিকার দল, তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর। অন্যথায় সুলায়মান ও তার বাহিনী অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পিষ্ট করে ফেলবে।
[18] Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: “O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaimân (Solomon) and his hosts should crush you, while they perceive not.”

[19] فَتَبَسَّمَ ضاحِكًا مِن قَولِها وَقالَ رَبِّ أَوزِعنى أَن أَشكُرَ نِعمَتَكَ الَّتى أَنعَمتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلىٰ وٰلِدَىَّ وَأَن أَعمَلَ صٰلِحًا تَرضىٰهُ وَأَدخِلنى بِرَحمَتِكَ فى عِبادِكَ الصّٰلِحينَ
[19] তার কথা শুনে সুলায়মান মুচকি হাসলেন এবং বললেন, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, তুমি আমাকে সামর্থø দাও যাতে আমি তোমার সেই নিয়ামতের কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করতে পারি, যা তুমি আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে দান করেছ এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকর্ম করতে পারি এবং আমাকে নিজ অনুগ্রহে তোমার সৎকর্মপরায়ন বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত কর।
[19] So he [Sulaimân (Solomon)] smiled, amused at her speech[1] and said: “My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.”

[20] وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيرَ فَقالَ ما لِىَ لا أَرَى الهُدهُدَ أَم كانَ مِنَ الغائِبينَ
[20] সুলায়মান পক্ষীদের খোঁজ খবর নিলেন, অতঃপর বললেন, কি হল, হুদহুদকে দেখছি না কেন? নাকি সে অনুপস্থিত?
[20] He inspected the birds, and said: “What is the matter that I see not the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?
