[41] وَلَقَد جاءَ ءالَ فِرعَونَ النُّذُرُ
[41] ফেরাউন সম্প্রদায়ের কাছেও সতর্ককারীগণ আগমন করেছিল।
[41] And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir’aun (Pharaoh) [through Mûsa (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron)].

[42] كَذَّبوا بِـٔايٰتِنا كُلِّها فَأَخَذنٰهُم أَخذَ عَزيزٍ مُقتَدِرٍ
[42] তারা আমার সকল নিদর্শনের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। অতঃপর আমি পরাভূতকারী, পরাক্রমশালীর ন্যায় তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম।
[42] (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable (Omnipotent).

[43] أَكُفّارُكُم خَيرٌ مِن أُولٰئِكُم أَم لَكُم بَراءَةٌ فِى الزُّبُرِ
[43] তোমাদের মধ্যকার কাফেররা কি তাদের চাইতে শ্রেষ্ঠ ? না তোমাদের মুক্তির সনদপত্র রয়েছে কিতাবসমূহে?
[43] Are your disbelievers (O Quraish!) better than these [nations of Nûh (Noah), Lut (Lot), Sâlih, and the people of Fir’aun (Pharaoh), who were destroyed)? Or have you an immunity (against Our Torment) in the Divine Scriptures?

[44] أَم يَقولونَ نَحنُ جَميعٌ مُنتَصِرٌ
[44] না তারা বলে যে, আমারা এক অপরাজেয় দল?
[44] Or say they: “We are a great multitude, victorious.?”

[45] سَيُهزَمُ الجَمعُ وَيُوَلّونَ الدُّبُرَ
[45] এ দল তো সত্ত্বরই পরাজিত হবে এবং পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করবে।
[45] Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs.

[46] بَلِ السّاعَةُ مَوعِدُهُم وَالسّاعَةُ أَدهىٰ وَأَمَرُّ
[46] বরং কেয়ামত তাদের প্রতিশ্রুত সময় এবং কেয়ামত ঘোরতর বিপদ ও তিক্ততর।
[46] Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter.

[47] إِنَّ المُجرِمينَ فى ضَلٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ
[47] নিশ্চয় অপরাধীরা পথভ্রষ্ট ও বিকারগ্রস্ত।
[47] Verily, the Mujrimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter).

[48] يَومَ يُسحَبونَ فِى النّارِ عَلىٰ وُجوهِهِم ذوقوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ
[48] যেদিন তাদেরকে মুখ হিঁচড়ে টেনে নেয়া হবে জাহান্নামে, বলা হবেঃ অগ্নির খাদ্য আস্বাদন কর।
[48] The Day they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire (it will be said to them): “Taste you the touch of Hell!”

[49] إِنّا كُلَّ شَيءٍ خَلَقنٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ
[49] আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তুকে পরিমিতরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি।
[49] Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz).

[50] وَما أَمرُنا إِلّا وٰحِدَةٌ كَلَمحٍ بِالبَصَرِ
[50] আমার কাজ তো এক মুহূর্তে চোখের পলকের মত।
[50] And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye.

[51] وَلَقَد أَهلَكنا أَشياعَكُم فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ
[51] আমি তোমাদের সমমনা লোকদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
[51] And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?

[52] وَكُلُّ شَيءٍ فَعَلوهُ فِى الزُّبُرِ
[52] তারা যা কিছু করেছে, সবই আমলনামায় লিপিবদ্ধ আছে।
[52] And everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds).

[53] وَكُلُّ صَغيرٍ وَكَبيرٍ مُستَطَرٌ
[53] ছোট ও বড় সবই লিপিবদ্ধ।
[53] And everything, small and big, is written down (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer: الإيمان بالقدر) (See the Qur’ân V.57:22 and its footnote).

[54] إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى جَنّٰتٍ وَنَهَرٍ
[54] খোদাভীরুরা থাকবে জান্নাতে ও নির্ঝরিণীতে।
[54] Verily, The Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise).

[55] فى مَقعَدِ صِدقٍ عِندَ مَليكٍ مُقتَدِرٍ
[55] যোগ্য আসনে, সর্বাধিপতি সম্রাটের সান্নিধ্যে।
[55] In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allâh the one, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour).
