[11] يَغشَى النّاسَ ۖ هٰذا عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[11] যা মানুষকে ঘিরে ফেলবে। এটা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[11] Covering the people? this is a painful torment.

[12] رَبَّنَا اكشِف عَنَّا العَذابَ إِنّا مُؤمِنونَ
[12] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা আমাদের উপর থেকে শাস্তি প্রত্যাহার করুন, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করছি।
[12] (They will say): “Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!”

[13] أَنّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكرىٰ وَقَد جاءَهُم رَسولٌ مُبينٌ
[13] তারা কি করে বুঝবে, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন স্পষ্ট বর্ণনাকারী রসূল।
[13] How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.

[14] ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوا عَنهُ وَقالوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَجنونٌ
[14] অতঃপর তারা তাকে পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করে এবং বলে, সে তো উম্মাদ-শিখানো কথা বলে।
[14] Then they had turned away from him (Messenger Muhammad SAW) and said: “Hw is One taught (by a human being), a madman!”

[15] إِنّا كاشِفُوا العَذابِ قَليلًا ۚ إِنَّكُم عائِدونَ
[15] আমি তোমাদের উপর থেকে আযাব কিছুটা প্রত্যাহার করব, কিন্তু তোমরা পুনরায় পুনর্বস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
[15] Verily, We shall remove the torment for a while. Verily! You will revert (to disbelief).

[16] يَومَ نَبطِشُ البَطشَةَ الكُبرىٰ إِنّا مُنتَقِمونَ
[16] যেদিন আমি প্রবলভাবে ধৃত করব, সেদিন পুরোপুরি প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবই।
[16] On the Day when We shall seize you with the greatest seizure (punishment). Verily, We will exact retribution.

[17] ۞ وَلَقَد فَتَنّا قَبلَهُم قَومَ فِرعَونَ وَجاءَهُم رَسولٌ كَريمٌ
[17] তাদের পূর্বে আমি ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তাদের কাছে আগমন করেছেন একজন সম্মানিত রসূল,
[17] And indeed We tried before them Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) people, when there came to them a noble Messenger [i.e. Mûsa (Moses) A.S.],

[18] أَن أَدّوا إِلَىَّ عِبادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى لَكُم رَسولٌ أَمينٌ
[18] এই মর্মে যে, আল্লাহর বান্দাদেরকে আমার কাছে অর্পণ কর। আমি তোমাদের জন্য প্রেরীত বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
[18] Saying: “Deliver to me the slaves of Allâh (i.e. the Children of Israel). Verily! I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust,

[19] وَأَن لا تَعلوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى ءاتيكُم بِسُلطٰنٍ مُبينٍ
[19] আর তোমরা আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করো না। আমি তোমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করছি।
[19] “And exalt not yourselves against Allâh. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority.

[20] وَإِنّى عُذتُ بِرَبّى وَرَبِّكُم أَن تَرجُمونِ
[20] তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরবর্ষণে হত্যা না কর, তজ্জন্যে আমি আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার শরনাপন্ন হয়েছি।
[20] “And truly, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord, lest you should stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me).

[21] وَإِن لَم تُؤمِنوا لى فَاعتَزِلونِ
[21] তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর, তবে আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাক।
[21] “But if you believe me not, then keep away from me and leave me alone.”

[22] فَدَعا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ قَومٌ مُجرِمونَ
[22] অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে দোয়া করল যে, এরা অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
[22] (But they were aggressive), so he [Mûsa (Moses)] called upon his Lord (saying): “These are indeed the people who are Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals).”

[23] فَأَسرِ بِعِبادى لَيلًا إِنَّكُم مُتَّبَعونَ
[23] তাহলে তুমি আমার বান্দাদেরকে নিয়ে রাত্রিবেলায় বের হয়ে পড়। নিশ্চয় তোমাদের পশ্চাদ্ধবন করা হবে।
[23] (Allâh said): “Depart you with My slaves by night. Surely, you will be pursued

[24] وَاترُكِ البَحرَ رَهوًا ۖ إِنَّهُم جُندٌ مُغرَقونَ
[24] এবং সমুদ্রকে অচল থাকতে দাও। নিশ্চয় ওরা নিমজ্জত বাহিনী।
[24] “And leave the sea as it is (quiet and divided). Verily, they are a host to be drowned.”

[25] كَم تَرَكوا مِن جَنّٰتٍ وَعُيونٍ
[25] তারা ছেড়ে গিয়েছিল কত উদ্যান ও প্রস্রবন,
[25] How many of gardens and springs that they [Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) people] left behind,

[26] وَزُروعٍ وَمَقامٍ كَريمٍ
[26] কত শস্যক্ষেত্র ও সূরম্য স্থান।
[26] And green crops (fields) and goodly places,

[27] وَنَعمَةٍ كانوا فيها فٰكِهينَ
[27] কত সুখের উপকরণ, যাতে তারা খোশগল্প করত।
[27] And comforts of life wherein they used to take delight!

[28] كَذٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَورَثنٰها قَومًا ءاخَرينَ
[28] এমনিই হয়েছিল এবং আমি ওগুলোর মালিক করেছিলাম ভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়কে।
[28] Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them (i.e. We made the Children of Israel to inherit the kingdom of Egypt).

[29] فَما بَكَت عَلَيهِمُ السَّماءُ وَالأَرضُ وَما كانوا مُنظَرينَ
[29] তাদের জন্যে ক্রন্দন করেনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং তারা অবকাশও পায়নি।
[29] And the heavens and the earth wept not for them , nor were they given a respite.

[30] وَلَقَد نَجَّينا بَنى إِسرٰءيلَ مِنَ العَذابِ المُهينِ
[30] আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে অপমানজনক শাস্তি থেকে উদ্ধার করছি।
[30] And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment,
