[74] وَلوطًا ءاتَينٰهُ حُكمًا وَعِلمًا وَنَجَّينٰهُ مِنَ القَريَةِ الَّتى كانَت تَعمَلُ الخَبٰئِثَ ۗ إِنَّهُم كانوا قَومَ سَوءٍ فٰسِقينَ
[74] এবং আমি লূতকে দিয়েছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান এবং তাঁকে ঐ জনপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম, যারা নোংরা কাজে লিপ্ত ছিল। তারা মন্দ ও নাফরমান সম্প্রদায় ছিল।
[74] And (remember) Lut (Lot), We gave him Hukm (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khabâ’ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient, to Allâh).
