بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু

[1] الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذى لَهُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَما فِى الأَرضِ وَلَهُ الحَمدُ فِى الءاخِرَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الحَكيمُ الخَبيرُ
[1] সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি নভোমন্ডলে যা আছে এবং ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে সব কিছুর মালিক এবং তাঁরই প্রশংসা পরকালে। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[1] All the praises and thanks are to Allâh, to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. His is all the praises and thanks in the Hereafter, and He is the All¬Wise, the All¬Aware.

[2] يَعلَمُ ما يَلِجُ فِى الأَرضِ وَما يَخرُجُ مِنها وَما يَنزِلُ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَما يَعرُجُ فيها ۚ وَهُوَ الرَّحيمُ الغَفورُ
[2] তিনি জানেন যা ভূগর্ভে প্রবেশ করে, যা সেখান থেকে নির্গত হয়, যা আকাশ থেকে বর্ষিত হয় এবং যা আকাশে উত্থিত হয়। তিনি পরম দয়ালু ক্ষমাশীল।
[2] He knows that which goes into the earth and that which comes forth from it, and that which descend from the heaven and that which ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful, the Oft¬Forgiving.

[3] وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لا تَأتينَا السّاعَةُ ۖ قُل بَلىٰ وَرَبّى لَتَأتِيَنَّكُم عٰلِمِ الغَيبِ ۖ لا يَعزُبُ عَنهُ مِثقالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلا فِى الأَرضِ وَلا أَصغَرُ مِن ذٰلِكَ وَلا أَكبَرُ إِلّا فى كِتٰبٍ مُبينٍ
[3] কাফেররা বলে আমাদের উপর কেয়ামত আসবে না। বলুন কেন আসবে না? আমার পালনকর্তার শপথ-অবশ্যই আসবে। তিনি অদৃশ্য সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত। নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূ-মন্ডলে তাঁর আগোচরে নয় অণু পরিমাণ কিছু, না তদপেক্ষা ক্ষুদ্র এবং না বৃহৎ-সমস্তই আছে সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে।
[3] Those who disbelieve say: “The Hour will not come to us.” Say: “Yes, by my Lord, the All¬Knower of the unseen, it will come to you.” not even the weight of an atom (or a small ant) or less than that or greater, escapes His Knowledge in the heavens or in the earth, but it is in a Clear Book (Al¬Lauh Al¬Mahfûz).

[4] لِيَجزِىَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَرِزقٌ كَريمٌ
[4] তিনি পরিণামে যারা মুমিন ও সৎকর্ম পরায়ণ, তাদেরকে প্রতিদান দেবেন। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও সম্মান জনক রিযিক।
[4] That He may recompense those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds. Those, theirs is forgiveness and Rizq Karîm (generous provision, i.e. Paradise).

[5] وَالَّذينَ سَعَو فى ءايٰتِنا مُعٰجِزينَ أُولٰئِكَ لَهُم عَذابٌ مِن رِجزٍ أَليمٌ
[5] আর যারা আমার আয়াত সমূহকে ব্যর্থ করার জন্য উঠে পড়ে লেগে যায়, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[5] But those who strive against Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to frustrate them, those, for them will be a severe painful torment.

[6] وَيَرَى الَّذينَ أوتُوا العِلمَ الَّذى أُنزِلَ إِلَيكَ مِن رَبِّكَ هُوَ الحَقَّ وَيَهدى إِلىٰ صِرٰطِ العَزيزِ الحَميدِ
[6] যারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত, তারা আপনার পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে অবর্তীর্ণ কোরআনকে সত্য জ্ঞান করে এবং এটা মানুষকে পরাক্রমশালী, প্রশংসার্হ আল্লাহর পথ প্রদর্শন করে।
[6] And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW) from your Lord is the truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Exalted in Might, Owner of all praise.

[7] وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا هَل نَدُلُّكُم عَلىٰ رَجُلٍ يُنَبِّئُكُم إِذا مُزِّقتُم كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُم لَفى خَلقٍ جَديدٍ
[7] কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে এমন ব্যক্তির সন্ধান দেব, যে তোমাদেরকে খবর দেয় যে; তোমরা সম্পুর্ণ ছিন্ন-বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে গেলেও তোমরা নতুন সৃজিত হবে।
[7] Those who disbelieve say: “Shall we direct you to a man (Muhammad SAW) who will tell you (that) when you have become fully disintegrated into dust with full dispersion, then, you will be created (again) anew?”

[8] أَفتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۗ بَلِ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ فِى العَذابِ وَالضَّلٰلِ البَعيدِ
[8] সে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলে, না হয় সে উম্মাদ এবং যারা পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী, তারা আযাবে ও ঘোর পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত আছে।
[8] Has he (Muhammad SAW) invented a lie against Allâh, or is there a madness in him? Nay, but those who disbelieve in the Hereafter are (themselves) in a torment, and in far error.

[9] أَفَلَم يَرَوا إِلىٰ ما بَينَ أَيديهِم وَما خَلفَهُم مِنَ السَّماءِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ إِن نَشَأ نَخسِف بِهِمُ الأَرضَ أَو نُسقِط عَلَيهِم كِسَفًا مِنَ السَّماءِ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايَةً لِكُلِّ عَبدٍ مُنيبٍ
[9] তারা কি তাদের সামনের ও পশ্চাতের আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর প্রতিলক্ষ্য করে না? আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের সহ ভূমি ধসিয়ে দেব অথবা আকাশের কোন খন্ড তাদের উপর পতিত করব। আল্লাহ অভিমুখী প্রত্যেক বান্দার জন্য এতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
[9] See they not what is before them and what is behind them, of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We shall sink the earth with them, or cause a piece of the heaven to fall upon them. Verily, in this is a sign for every slave who truns to Allah in repentance (i.e. the one who believes in the Oneness of Allah and performs deeds of His obedience and always begs His Pardon).

[10] ۞ وَلَقَد ءاتَينا داوۥدَ مِنّا فَضلًا ۖ يٰجِبالُ أَوِّبى مَعَهُ وَالطَّيرَ ۖ وَأَلَنّا لَهُ الحَديدَ
[10] আমি দাউদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম এই আদেশ মর্মে যে, হে পর্বতমালা, তোমরা দাউদের সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা কর এবং হে পক্ষী সকল, তোমরাও। আমি তাঁর জন্য লৌহকে নরম করে ছিলাম।
[10] And indeed We bestowed grace on Dawud (David) from Us (saying): “O you mountains. Glorify (Allâh) with him! And you birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him.”

[11] أَنِ اعمَل سٰبِغٰتٍ وَقَدِّر فِى السَّردِ ۖ وَاعمَلوا صٰلِحًا ۖ إِنّى بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ
[11] এবং তাকে আমি বলে ছিলাম, প্রশস্ত বর্ম তৈরী কর, কড়াসমূহ যথাযথভাবে সংযুক্ত কর এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন কর। তোমরা যা কিছু কর, আমি তা দেখি।
[11] Saying: “Make you perfect coats of mail, and balance well the rings of chain armour, and work you (men) righteousness. Truly, I am All¬Seer of what you do.”

[12] وَلِسُلَيمٰنَ الرّيحَ غُدُوُّها شَهرٌ وَرَواحُها شَهرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلنا لَهُ عَينَ القِطرِ ۖ وَمِنَ الجِنِّ مَن يَعمَلُ بَينَ يَدَيهِ بِإِذنِ رَبِّهِ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغ مِنهُم عَن أَمرِنا نُذِقهُ مِن عَذابِ السَّعيرِ
[12] আর আমি সোলায়মানের অধীন করেছিলাম বায়ুকে, যা সকালে এক মাসের পথ এবং বিকালে এক মাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত। আমি তার জন্যে গলিত তামার এক ঝরণা প্রবাহিত করেছিলাম। কতক জিন তার সামনে কাজ করত তার পালনকর্তার আদেশে। তাদের যে কেউ আমার আদেশ অমান্য করবে, আমি জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির-শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাব।
[12] And to Solomon (We subjected) the wind, its morning (stride from sunrise till midnoon) was a month’s (journey), and its afternoon (stride from the midday decline of the sun to sunset) was a month’s (journey i.e. in one day he could travel two months’ journey). And We caused a fount of (molten) brass to flow for him, and there were jinn that worked in front of him, by the Leave of his Lord, And whosoever of them turned aside from Our Command, We shall cause him to taste of the torment of the blazing Fire.

[13] يَعمَلونَ لَهُ ما يَشاءُ مِن مَحٰريبَ وَتَمٰثيلَ وَجِفانٍ كَالجَوابِ وَقُدورٍ راسِيٰتٍ ۚ اعمَلوا ءالَ داوۥدَ شُكرًا ۚ وَقَليلٌ مِن عِبادِىَ الشَّكورُ
[13] তারা সোলায়মানের ইচ্ছানুযায়ী দুর্গ, ভাস্কর্য, হাউযসদৃশ বৃহদাকার পাত্র এবং চুল্লির উপর স্থাপিত বিশাল ডেগ নির্মাণ করত। হে দাউদ পরিবার! কৃতজ্ঞতা সহকারে তোমরা কাজ করে যাও। আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে অল্পসংখ্যকই কৃতজ্ঞ।
[13] They worked for him as he desired, (making) high rooms, images, basins as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places). “Work you, O family of Dâwud (David), with thanks!” But few of My slaves are grateful.

[14] فَلَمّا قَضَينا عَلَيهِ المَوتَ ما دَلَّهُم عَلىٰ مَوتِهِ إِلّا دابَّةُ الأَرضِ تَأكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُ ۖ فَلَمّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الجِنُّ أَن لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ الغَيبَ ما لَبِثوا فِى العَذابِ المُهينِ
[14] যখন আমি সোলায়মানের মৃত্যু ঘটালাম, তখন ঘুণ পোকাই জিনদেরকে তাঁর মৃত্যু সম্পর্কে অবহিত করল। সোলায়মানের লাঠি খেয়ে যাচ্ছিল। যখন তিনি মাটিতে পড়ে গেলেন, তখন জিনেরা বুঝতে পারল যে, অদৃশ্য বিষয়ের জ্ঞান থাকলে তারা এই লাঞ্ছনাপূর্ণ শাস্তিতে আবদ্ধ থাকতো না।
[14] Then when We decreed death for him [Sulaimân (Solomon)], nothing informed them (jinn) of his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his stick, so when he fell down, the jinn saw clearly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment.

[15] لَقَد كانَ لِسَبَإٍ فى مَسكَنِهِم ءايَةٌ ۖ جَنَّتانِ عَن يَمينٍ وَشِمالٍ ۖ كُلوا مِن رِزقِ رَبِّكُم وَاشكُروا لَهُ ۚ بَلدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفورٌ
[15] সাবার অধিবাসীদের জন্যে তাদের বাসভূমিতে ছিল এক নিদর্শন-দুটি উদ্যান, একটি ডানদিকে, একটি বামদিকে। তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার রিযিক খাও এবং তাঁর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর। স্বাস্থ্যকর শহর এবং ক্ষমাশীল পালনকর্তা।
[15] Indeed there was for Saba’ (Sheba) a sign in their dwelling place, – two gardens on the right hand and on the left (and it was said to them) “Eat of the provision of your Lord, and be grateful to Him, A fair land and an Oft¬Forgiving Lord!

[16] فَأَعرَضوا فَأَرسَلنا عَلَيهِم سَيلَ العَرِمِ وَبَدَّلنٰهُم بِجَنَّتَيهِم جَنَّتَينِ ذَواتَى أُكُلٍ خَمطٍ وَأَثلٍ وَشَيءٍ مِن سِدرٍ قَليلٍ
[16] অতঃপর তারা অবাধ্যতা করল ফলে আমি তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করলাম প্রবল বন্যা! আর তাদের উদ্যানদ্বয়কে পরিবর্তন করে দিলাম এমন দুই উদ্যানে, যাতে উদগত হয় বিস্বাদ ফলমূল, ঝাউ গাছ এবং সামান্য কুলবৃক্ষ।
[16] But they turned away (from the obedience of Allâh), so We sent against them Sail Al¬’Arim (flood released from the dam), and We converted their two gardens into gardens producing bitter bad fruit, and tamarisks, and some few lote¬trees.

[17] ذٰلِكَ جَزَينٰهُم بِما كَفَروا ۖ وَهَل نُجٰزى إِلَّا الكَفورَ
[17] এটা ছিল কুফরের কারণে তাদের প্রতি আমার শাস্তি। আমি অকৃতজ্ঞ ব্যতীত কাউকে শাস্তি দেই না।
[17] Like this We requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. And never do We requite in such a way except those who are ungrateful, (disbelievers).

[18] وَجَعَلنا بَينَهُم وَبَينَ القُرَى الَّتى بٰرَكنا فيها قُرًى ظٰهِرَةً وَقَدَّرنا فيهَا السَّيرَ ۖ سيروا فيها لَيالِىَ وَأَيّامًا ءامِنينَ
[18] তাদের এবং যেসব জনপদের লোকদের প্রতি আমি অনুগ্রহ করেছিলম সেগুলোর মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে অনেক দৃশ্যমান জনপদ স্থাপন করেছিলাম এবং সেগুলোতে ভ্রমণ নির্ধারিত করেছিলাম। তোমরা এসব জনপদে রাত্রে ও দিনে নিরাপদে ভ্রমণ কর।
[18] And We placed between them and the towns which We had blessed, towns easy to be seen, and We made the stages (of journey) between them easy (saying): “Travel in them safely both by night and day.”

[19] فَقالوا رَبَّنا بٰعِد بَينَ أَسفارِنا وَظَلَموا أَنفُسَهُم فَجَعَلنٰهُم أَحاديثَ وَمَزَّقنٰهُم كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِكُلِّ صَبّارٍ شَكورٍ
[19] অতঃপর তারা বলল, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের ভ্রমণের পরিসর বাড়িয়ে দাও। তারা নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করেছিল। ফলে আমি তাদেরকে উপাখ্যানে পরিণত করলাম এবং সম্পূর্ণরূপে ছিন্ন-বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দিলাম। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক ধৈর্যশীল কৃতজ্ঞের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[19] But they said: “Our Lord! Make the stages between our journey longer,” and they wronged themselves, so We made them as tales (in the land), and We dispersed them all, totally. Verily, in this are indeed signs for every steadfast grateful (person).\

[20] وَلَقَد صَدَّقَ عَلَيهِم إِبليسُ ظَنَّهُ فَاتَّبَعوهُ إِلّا فَريقًا مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ
[20] আর তাদের উপর ইবলীস তার অনুমান সত্য হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করল। ফলে তাদের মধ্যে মুমিনদের একটি দল ব্যতীত সকলেই তার পথ অনুসরণ করল।
[20] And indeed Iblîs (Satan) did prove true his thought about them, and they followed him, all except a group of true believers (in the Oneness of Allâh).
