[41] ظَهَرَ الفَسادُ فِى البَرِّ وَالبَحرِ بِما كَسَبَت أَيدِى النّاسِ لِيُذيقَهُم بَعضَ الَّذى عَمِلوا لَعَلَّهُم يَرجِعونَ
[41] স্থলে ও জলে মানুষের কৃতকর্মের দরুন বিপর্যয় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাতে চান, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
[41] Evil (sins and disobedience to Allâh) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds), that He (Allâh) may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allâh, and begging His Pardon).

[42] قُل سيروا فِى الأَرضِ فَانظُروا كَيفَ كانَ عٰقِبَةُ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلُ ۚ كانَ أَكثَرُهُم مُشرِكينَ
[42] বলুন, তোমরা পৃথিবীতে পরিভ্রমণ কর এবং দেখ তোমাদের পুর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কি হয়েছে। তাদের অধিকাংশই ছিল মুশরিক।
[42] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah).”

[43] فَأَقِم وَجهَكَ لِلدّينِ القَيِّمِ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِىَ يَومٌ لا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ يَومَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعونَ
[43] যে দিবস আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে প্রত্যাহূত হবার নয়, সেই দিবসের পূর্বে আপনি সরল ধর্মে নিজেকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করুন। সেদিন মানুষ বিভক্ত হয়ে পড়বে।
[43] So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face (in obedience to Allâh, your Lord) to the straight and right religion (Islâmic Monotheism), before there comes from Allâh a Day which none can avert it. On that Day men shall be divided [(in two groups), a group in Paradise and a group in Hell].

[44] مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيهِ كُفرُهُ ۖ وَمَن عَمِلَ صٰلِحًا فَلِأَنفُسِهِم يَمهَدونَ
[44] যে কুফরী করে, তার কফুরের জন্যে সে-ই দায়ী এবং যে সৎকর্ম করে, তারা নিজেদের পথই শুধরে নিচ্ছে।
[44] Whosoever disbelieves will suffer from his disbelief, and whosoever does righteous good deeds (by practising Islâmic Monotheism), then such will prepare a good place (in Paradise) for themselves (and will be saved by Allâh from His Torment).

[45] لِيَجزِىَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِن فَضلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الكٰفِرينَ
[45] যারা বিশ্বাস করেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে যাতে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে নিজ অনুগ্রহে প্রতিদান দেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি কাফেরদের ভালবাসেন না।
[45] That He may reward those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, out of His Bounty. Verily, He likes not the disbelievers.

[46] وَمِن ءايٰتِهِ أَن يُرسِلَ الرِّياحَ مُبَشِّرٰتٍ وَلِيُذيقَكُم مِن رَحمَتِهِ وَلِتَجرِىَ الفُلكُ بِأَمرِهِ وَلِتَبتَغوا مِن فَضلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُم تَشكُرونَ
[46] তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহের মধ্যে একটি এই যে, তিনি সুসংবাদবাহী বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, যাতে তিনি তাঁর অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের আস্বাদন করান এবং যাতে তাঁর নির্দেশে জাহাজসমূহ বিচরণ করে এবং যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ তালাশ কর এবং তাঁর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ হও।
[46] And among His Signs is this, that He sends the winds as glad tidings, giving you a taste of His Mercy (i.e. rain), and that the ships may sail at His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, in order that you may be thankful.

[47] وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا مِن قَبلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلىٰ قَومِهِم فَجاءوهُم بِالبَيِّنٰتِ فَانتَقَمنا مِنَ الَّذينَ أَجرَموا ۖ وَكانَ حَقًّا عَلَينا نَصرُ المُؤمِنينَ
[47] আপনার পূর্বে আমি রসূলগণকে তাঁদের নিজ নিজ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি। তাঁরা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে আগমন করেন। অতঃপর যারা পাপী ছিল, তাদের আমি শাস্তি দিয়েছি। মুমিনদের সাহায্য করা আমার দায়িত্ব।
[47] And indeed We did send Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelief, setting partners in worship with Allâh, sins), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).

[48] اللَّهُ الَّذى يُرسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ فَتُثيرُ سَحابًا فَيَبسُطُهُ فِى السَّماءِ كَيفَ يَشاءُ وَيَجعَلُهُ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى الوَدقَ يَخرُجُ مِن خِلٰلِهِ ۖ فَإِذا أَصابَ بِهِ مَن يَشاءُ مِن عِبادِهِ إِذا هُم يَستَبشِرونَ
[48] তিনি আল্লাহ, যিনি বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, অতঃপর তা মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চারিত করে। অতঃপর তিনি মেঘমালাকে যেভাবে ইচ্ছা আকাশে ছড়িয়ে দেন এবং তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন। এরপর তুমি দেখতে পাও তার মধ্য থেকে নির্গত হয় বৃষ্টিধারা। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা পৌঁছান; তখন তারা আনন্দিত হয়।
[48] Allâh is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He wills, lo! they rejoice!

[49] وَإِن كانوا مِن قَبلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيهِم مِن قَبلِهِ لَمُبلِسينَ
[49] তারা প্রথম থেকেই তাদের প্রতি এই বৃষ্টি বর্ষিত হওয়ার পূর্বে নিরাশ ছিল।
[49] And verily before that (rain),— just before it was sent down upon them, — they were in despair!

[50] فَانظُر إِلىٰ ءاثٰرِ رَحمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيفَ يُحىِ الأَرضَ بَعدَ مَوتِها ۚ إِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَمُحىِ المَوتىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ
[50] অতএব, আল্লাহর রহমতের ফল দেখে নাও, কিভাবে তিনি মৃত্তিকার মৃত্যুর পর তাকে জীবিত করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করবেন এবং তিনি সব কিছুর উপর সর্বশক্তিমান।
[50] Look then at the effects (results) of Allâh’s Mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Verily, that (Allâh) (Who revived the earth after its death) shall indeed raise the dead (on the Day of Resurrection), and He is Able to do all things.

[51] وَلَئِن أَرسَلنا ريحًا فَرَأَوهُ مُصفَرًّا لَظَلّوا مِن بَعدِهِ يَكفُرونَ
[51] আমি যদি এমন বায়ু প্রেরণ করি যার ফলে তারা শস্যকে হলদে হয়ে যেতে দেখে, তখন তো তারা অবশ্যই অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়।
[51] And if We send a wind [which would spoil the green growth (tilth) brought up by the previous rain], and they see (their tilth) turn yellow, — behold, they then (after their being glad), would become unthankful (to their Lord Allâh as) disbelievers. (Tafsir At-Tabari)

[52] فَإِنَّكَ لا تُسمِعُ المَوتىٰ وَلا تُسمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعاءَ إِذا وَلَّوا مُدبِرينَ
[52] অতএব, আপনি মৃতদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন না এবং বধিরকেও আহবান শোনাতে পারবেন না, যখন তারা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে।
[52] So verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs, and turn away.

[53] وَما أَنتَ بِهٰدِ العُمىِ عَن ضَلٰلَتِهِم ۖ إِن تُسمِعُ إِلّا مَن يُؤمِنُ بِـٔايٰتِنا فَهُم مُسلِمونَ
[53] আপনি অন্ধদেরও তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে পথ দেখাতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরই শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। কারন তারা মুসলমান।
[53] And you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot guide the blind from their straying; you can make to hear only those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and have submitted to Allâh in Islâm (as Muslims).

[54] ۞ اللَّهُ الَّذى خَلَقَكُم مِن ضَعفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعدِ ضَعفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعفًا وَشَيبَةً ۚ يَخلُقُ ما يَشاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ العَليمُ القَديرُ
[54] আল্লাহ তিনি দূর্বল অবস্থায় তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেন অতঃপর দূর্বলতার পর শক্তিদান করেন, অতঃপর শক্তির পর দেন দুর্বলতা ও বার্ধক্য। তিনি যা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন এবং তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ, সর্বশক্তিমান।
[54] Allâh is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All¬Knowing, the All¬Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things).

[55] وَيَومَ تَقومُ السّاعَةُ يُقسِمُ المُجرِمونَ ما لَبِثوا غَيرَ ساعَةٍ ۚ كَذٰلِكَ كانوا يُؤفَكونَ
[55] যেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে, সেদিন অপরাধীরা কসম খেয়ে বলবে যে, এক মুহুর্তেরও বেশী অবস্থান করিনি। এমনিভাবে তারা সত্যবিমুখ হত।
[55] And on the Day that the Hour will be established, the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) will swear that they stayed not but an hour, thus were they ever deluded [away from the truth (i.e they used to tell lies and take false oaths, and turn away from the truth) in this life of the world].

[56] وَقالَ الَّذينَ أوتُوا العِلمَ وَالإيمٰنَ لَقَد لَبِثتُم فى كِتٰبِ اللَّهِ إِلىٰ يَومِ البَعثِ ۖ فَهٰذا يَومُ البَعثِ وَلٰكِنَّكُم كُنتُم لا تَعلَمونَ
[56] যাদের জ্ঞান ও ঈমান দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা বলবে আমরা আল্লাহর কিতাব মতে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত অবস্থান করেছি। এটাই পুনরুত্থান দিবস, কিন্তু তোমরা তা জানতে না।
[56] And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: “Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allâh, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not.”

[57] فَيَومَئِذٍ لا يَنفَعُ الَّذينَ ظَلَموا مَعذِرَتُهُم وَلا هُم يُستَعتَبونَ
[57] সেদিন জালেমদের ওযর-আপত্তি তাদের কোন উপকারে আসবে না এবং তওবা করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগও তাদের দেয়া হবে না।
[57] So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allâh, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allâh’s Pleasure (by having Islâmic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).

[58] وَلَقَد ضَرَبنا لِلنّاسِ فى هٰذَا القُرءانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَلَئِن جِئتَهُم بِـٔايَةٍ لَيَقولَنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا إِن أَنتُم إِلّا مُبطِلونَ
[58] আমি এই কোরআনে মানুষের জন্য সর্বপ্রকার দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছি। আপনি যদি তাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত করেন, তবে কাফেররা অবশ্যই বলবে, তোমরা সবাই মিথ্যাপন্থী।
[58] And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Qur’ân every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad SAW) bring to them any sign or proof, (as an evidence for the truth of your Prophethood), the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): “You follow nothing but falsehood, and magic.”

[59] كَذٰلِكَ يَطبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلىٰ قُلوبِ الَّذينَ لا يَعلَمونَ
[59] এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ জ্ঞানহীনদের হৃদয় মোহরাঙ্কিত করে দেন।
[59] Thus does Allâh seal up the hearts of those who know not [the proofs and evidence of the Oneness of Allâh i.e. those who try not to understand true facts that which you (Muhammad SAW) have brought to them].

[60] فَاصبِر إِنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ وَلا يَستَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذينَ لا يوقِنونَ
[60] অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। যারা বিশ্বাসী নয়, তারা যেন আপনাকে বিচলিত করতে না পারে।
[60] So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and let not those who have no certainty of faith, discourage you from conveying Allâh’s Message (which you are obliged to convey).
