আল কুরআন এর পথে
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু
[1] الر ۚ تِلكَ ءايٰتُ الكِتٰبِ وَقُرءانٍ مُبينٍ
[1] আলিফ-লা-ম-রা; এগুলো পরিপূর্ণ গ্রন্থ ও সুস্পষ্ট কোরআনের আয়াত।
[1] Alif-Lâm-Râ. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Book, and a plain Qur’ân.
[2] رُبَما يَوَدُّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَو كانوا مُسلِمينَ
[2] কোন সময় কাফেররা আকাঙ্ক্ষা করবে যে, কি চমৎকার হত, যদি তারা মুসলমান হত।
[2] How much will those who disbelieve desire that they were Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allâh’s Will in Islâm i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise].
[3] ذَرهُم يَأكُلوا وَيَتَمَتَّعوا وَيُلهِهِمُ الأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ
[3] আপনি ছেড়ে দিন তাদেরকে, খেয়ে নিক এবং ভোগ করে নিক এবং আশায় ব্যাপৃত থাকুক। অতি সত্বর তারা জেনে নেবে।
[3] Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know!
[4] وَما أَهلَكنا مِن قَريَةٍ إِلّا وَلَها كِتابٌ مَعلومٌ
[4] আমি কোন জনপদ ধবংস করিনি; কিন্ত তার নির্দিষ্ট সময় লিখিত ছিল।
[4] And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it.
[5] ما تَسبِقُ مِن أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَها وَما يَستَـٔخِرونَ
[5] কোন সম্প্রদায় তার নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের অগ্রে যায় না এবং পশ্চাতে থাকে না।
[5] No nation can advance its term, nor delay it.
[6] وَقالوا يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذى نُزِّلَ عَلَيهِ الذِّكرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجنونٌ
[6] তারা বললঃ হে ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার প্রতি কোরআন নাযিল হয়েছে, আপনি তো একজন উম্মাদ।
[6] And they say: “O you (Muhammad SAW ) to whom the Dhikr (the Qur’ân) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man.
[7] لَو ما تَأتينا بِالمَلٰئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقينَ
[7] যদি আপনি সত্যবাদী হন, তবে আমাদের কাছে ফেরেশতাদেরকে আনেন না কেন?
[7] “Why do you not bring angels to us if you are of the truthful?”
[8] ما نُنَزِّلُ المَلٰئِكَةَ إِلّا بِالحَقِّ وَما كانوا إِذًا مُنظَرينَ
[8] আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে একমাত্র ফায়সালার জন্যেই নাযিল করি। তখন তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না।
[8] We send not the angels down except with the truth (i.e. for torment), and in that case, they (the disbelievers) would have no respite!
[9] إِنّا نَحنُ نَزَّلنَا الذِّكرَ وَإِنّا لَهُ لَحٰفِظونَ
[9] আমি স্বয়ং এ উপদেশ গ্রন্থ অবতারণ করেছি এবং আমি নিজেই এর সংরক্ষক।
[9] Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)
[10] وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا مِن قَبلِكَ فى شِيَعِ الأَوَّلينَ
[10] আমি আপনার পূর্বে পূর্ববর্তী সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি।
[10] Indeed, We sent (Messengers) before you (O Muhammad SAW) amongst the sects (communities) of old.
[11] وَما يَأتيهِم مِن رَسولٍ إِلّا كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[11] ওদের কাছে এমন কোন রসূল আসেননি, যাদের সাথে ওরা ঠাট্টাবিদ্রূপ করতে থাকেনি।
[11] And never came a Messenger to them but they did mock at him.
[12] كَذٰلِكَ نَسلُكُهُ فى قُلوبِ المُجرِمينَ
[12] এমনিভাবে আমি এ ধরনের আচরণ পাপীদের অন্তরে বদ্ধমূল করে দেই।
[12] Thus do We let it (polytheism and disbelief) enter the hearts of the Mujrimûn [criminals, polytheists, and pagans. (because of their mocking at the Messengers)]
[13] لا يُؤمِنونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَد خَلَت سُنَّةُ الأَوَّلينَ
[13] ওরা এর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করবে না। পূর্ববর্তীদের এমন রীতি চলে আসছে।
[13] They would not believe in it (the Qur’ân), and already the example of (Allâh’s punishment of) the ancients (who disbelieved) has gone forth.
[14] وَلَو فَتَحنا عَلَيهِم بابًا مِنَ السَّماءِ فَظَلّوا فيهِ يَعرُجونَ
[14] যদি আমি ওদের সামনে আকাশের কোন দরজাও খুলে দেই আর তাতে ওরা দিনভর আরোহণ ও করতে থাকে।
[14] And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to keep on ascending thereto, (all the day long).
[15] لَقالوا إِنَّما سُكِّرَت أَبصٰرُنا بَل نَحنُ قَومٌ مَسحورونَ
[15] তবুও ওরা একথাই বলবে যে, আমাদের দৃষ্টির বিভ্রাট ঘটানো হয়েছে না বরং আমরা যাদুগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়েছি।
[15] They would surely say (in the evening): “Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled (We have not seen any angle or heaven). Nay, we are a people bewitched.”
[16] وَلَقَد جَعَلنا فِى السَّماءِ بُروجًا وَزَيَّنّٰها لِلنّٰظِرينَ
[16] নিশ্চয় আমি আকাশে রাশিচক্র সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তাকে দর্শকদের জন্যে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছি।
[16] And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders.
[17] وَحَفِظنٰها مِن كُلِّ شَيطٰنٍ رَجيمٍ
[17] আমি আকাশকে প্রত্যেক বিতাড়িত শয়তান থেকে নিরাপদ করে দিয়েছি।
[17] And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitân (devil).
[18] إِلّا مَنِ استَرَقَ السَّمعَ فَأَتبَعَهُ شِهابٌ مُبينٌ
[18] কিন্তু যে চুরি করে শুনে পালায়, তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে উজ্জ্বল উল্কাপিন্ড।
[18] Except him (devil) who steals the hearing then he is pursued by a clear flaming fire.
[19] وَالأَرضَ مَدَدنٰها وَأَلقَينا فيها رَوٰسِىَ وَأَنبَتنا فيها مِن كُلِّ شَيءٍ مَوزونٍ
[19] আমি ভু-পৃষ্ঠকে বিস্তৃত করেছি এবং তার উপর পর্বতমালা স্থাপন করেছি এবং তাতে প্রত্যেক বস্তু সুপরিমিতভাবে উৎপন্ন করেছি।
[19] And the earth We have spread out, and have placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion.
[20] وَجَعَلنا لَكُم فيها مَعٰيِشَ وَمَن لَستُم لَهُ بِرٰزِقينَ
[20] আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তাতে জীবিকার উপকরন সৃষ্টি করছি এবং তাদের জন্যেও যাদের অন্নদাতা তোমরা নও।
[20] And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals].
