[81] وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِمّا خَلَقَ ظِلٰلًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِنَ الجِبالِ أَكنٰنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم سَرٰبيلَ تَقيكُمُ الحَرَّ وَسَرٰبيلَ تَقيكُم بَأسَكُم ۚ كَذٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعمَتَهُ عَلَيكُم لَعَلَّكُم تُسلِمونَ

[81] আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে সৃজিত বস্তু দ্বারা ছায়া করে দিয়েছেন এবং পাহাড় সমূহে তোমাদের জন্যে আত্ন গোপনের জায়গা করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্যে পোশাক তৈরী করে দিয়েছেন, যা তোমাদেরকে গ্রীষ্ম এবং বিপদের সময় রক্ষা করে। এমনিভাবে তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের পূর্ণতা দান করেন, যাতে তোমরা আত্নসমর্পণ কর।

[81] And Allâh has made for you out of that which He has created shades, and has made for you places of refuge in the mountains, and has made for you garments to protect you from the heat (and cold), and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He perfect His Favour unto you, that you may submit yourselves to His Will (in Islâm).

[82] فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّما عَلَيكَ البَلٰغُ المُبينُ

[82] অতঃপর যদি তারা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে, তবে আপনার কাজ হল সুস্পষ্ট ভাবে পৌছে দেয়া মাত্র।

[82] Then, if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad SAW) is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way.

[83] يَعرِفونَ نِعمَتَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرونَها وَأَكثَرُهُمُ الكٰفِرونَ

[83] তারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ চিনে, এরপর অস্বীকার করে এবং তাদের অধিকাংশই অকৃতজ্ঞ।

[83] They recognise the Grace of Allâh, yet they deny it (by worshipping others besides Allâh) and most of them are disbelievers (deny the Prophethood of Muhammad SAW).

[84] وَيَومَ نَبعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهيدًا ثُمَّ لا يُؤذَنُ لِلَّذينَ كَفَروا وَلا هُم يُستَعتَبونَ

[84] যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মত থেকে একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব, তখন কাফেরদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া হবে না এবং তাদের তওবা ও গ্রহণ করা হবে না।

[84] And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who have disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allâh’s Forgiveness (of their sins).

[85] وَإِذا رَءَا الَّذينَ ظَلَمُوا العَذابَ فَلا يُخَفَّفُ عَنهُم وَلا هُم يُنظَرونَ

[85] যখন জালেমরা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন তাদের থেকে তা লঘু করা হবে না এবং তাদেরকে কোন অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না।

[85] And when those who did wrong (the disbelievers) will see the torment, then it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be given respite.

[86] وَإِذا رَءَا الَّذينَ أَشرَكوا شُرَكاءَهُم قالوا رَبَّنا هٰؤُلاءِ شُرَكاؤُنَا الَّذينَ كُنّا نَدعوا مِن دونِكَ ۖ فَأَلقَوا إِلَيهِمُ القَولَ إِنَّكُم لَكٰذِبونَ

[86] মুশরিকরা যখন ঐ সব বস্তুকে দেখবে, যেসবকে তারা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক সাব্যস্ত করেছিল, তখন বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা এরাই তারা যারা আমাদের শেরেকীর উপাদান, তোমাকে ছেড়ে আমরা যাদেরকে ডাকতাম। তখন ওরা তাদেরকে বলবেঃ তোমরা মিথ্যাবাদী।

[86] And when those who associated partners with Allâh see their (Allâh’s so-called) partners, they will say: “Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you.” But they will throw back their word at them (and say): “Surely! You indeed are liars!”

[87] وَأَلقَوا إِلَى اللَّهِ يَومَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَفتَرونَ

[87] সেদিন তারা আল্লাহর সামনে আত্নসমর্পন করবে এবং তারা যে মিথ্যা অপবাদ দিত তা বিস্মৃত হবে।

[87] And they will offer (their full) submission to Allâh (Alone) on that Day, and their invented false deities [all that they used to invoke besides Allâh, e.g. idols, saints, priests, monks, angels, jinn, Jibrael (Gabriel), Messengers] will vanish from them.

[88] الَّذينَ كَفَروا وَصَدّوا عَن سَبيلِ اللَّهِ زِدنٰهُم عَذابًا فَوقَ العَذابِ بِما كانوا يُفسِدونَ

[88] যারা কাফের হয়েছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করেছে, আমি তাদেরকে আযাবের পর আযাব বাড়িয়ে দেব। কারণ, তারা অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করত।

[88] Those who disbelieved and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh, for them We will add torment to the torment; because they used to spread corruption [by disobeying Allâh themselves, as well as ordering others (mankind) to do so].

[89] وَيَومَ نَبعَثُ فى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهيدًا عَلَيهِم مِن أَنفُسِهِم ۖ وَجِئنا بِكَ شَهيدًا عَلىٰ هٰؤُلاءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ تِبيٰنًا لِكُلِّ شَيءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحمَةً وَبُشرىٰ لِلمُسلِمينَ

[89] সেদিন প্রত্যেক উম্মতের মধ্যে আমি একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব তাদের বিপক্ষে তাদের মধ্য থেকেই এবং তাদের বিষয়ে আপনাকে সাক্ষী স্বরূপ উপস্থাপন করব। আমি আপনার প্রতি গ্রন্থ নাযিল করেছি যেটি এমন যে তা প্রত্যেক বস্তুর সুস্পষ্ট বর্ণনা, হেদায়েত, রহমত এবং মুসলমানদের জন্যে সুসংবাদ।

[89] And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from every nation a witness against them from amongst themselves. And We shall bring you (O Muhammad SAW) as a witness against these. And We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) as an exposition of everything, a guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allâh as Muslims).

[90] ۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأمُرُ بِالعَدلِ وَالإِحسٰنِ وَإيتائِ ذِى القُربىٰ وَيَنهىٰ عَنِ الفَحشاءِ وَالمُنكَرِ وَالبَغىِ ۚ يَعِظُكُم لَعَلَّكُم تَذَكَّرونَ

[90] আল্লাহ ন্যায়পরায়ণতা, সদাচরণ এবং আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে দান করার আদেশ দেন এবং তিনি অশ্লীলতা, অসঙ্গত কাজ এবং অবাধ্যতা করতে বারণ করেন। তিনি তোমাদের উপদেশ দেন যাতে তোমরা স্মরণ রাখ।

[90] Verily, Allâh enjoins Al-Adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allâh Alone – Islâmic Monotheism) and Al-Ihsân [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allâh, totally for Allâh’s sake and in accordance with the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet SAW in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allâh has ordered you to give them e.g., wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help): and forbids Al-Fahshâ’ (i.e all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and Al-Munkar (i.e all that is prohibited by Islâmic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed.

[91] وَأَوفوا بِعَهدِ اللَّهِ إِذا عٰهَدتُم وَلا تَنقُضُوا الأَيمٰنَ بَعدَ تَوكيدِها وَقَد جَعَلتُمُ اللَّهَ عَلَيكُم كَفيلًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعلَمُ ما تَفعَلونَ

[91] আল্লাহর নামে অঙ্গীকার করার পর সে অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ কর এবং পাকাপাকি কসম করার পর তা ভঙ্গ করো না, অথচ তোমরা আল্লাহকে জামিন করেছ। তোমরা যা কর আল্লাহ তা জানেন।

[91] And fulfill the Covenant of Allâh (Bai’a: pledge for Islâm) when you have covenanted, and break not the oaths after you have confirmed them, and indeed you have appointed Allâh your surety. Verily! Allâh knows what you do.

[92] وَلا تَكونوا كَالَّتى نَقَضَت غَزلَها مِن بَعدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنكٰثًا تَتَّخِذونَ أَيمٰنَكُم دَخَلًا بَينَكُم أَن تَكونَ أُمَّةٌ هِىَ أَربىٰ مِن أُمَّةٍ ۚ إِنَّما يَبلوكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهِ ۚ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ما كُنتُم فيهِ تَختَلِفونَ

[92] তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।

[92] And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths as a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation should be more numerous than another nation. Allâh only tests you by this [i.e who obeys Allâh and fulfills Allâh’s Covenant and who disobeys Allâh and breaks Allâh’s Covenant]. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will certainly make clear to you that wherein you used to differ [i.e. a believer confesses and believes in the Oneness of Allâh and in the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW which the disbeliever denies it and that was their difference amongst them in the life of this world]

[93] وَلَو شاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُم أُمَّةً وٰحِدَةً وَلٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشاءُ وَيَهدى مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَلَتُسـَٔلُنَّ عَمّا كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ

[93] আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে এক জাতি করে দিতে পারতেন, কিন্তু তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা বিপথগামী করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। তোমরা যা কর সে বিষয়ে অবশ্যই জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।

[93] And had Allâh willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do.

[94] وَلا تَتَّخِذوا أَيمٰنَكُم دَخَلًا بَينَكُم فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعدَ ثُبوتِها وَتَذوقُوا السّوءَ بِما صَدَدتُم عَن سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُم عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ

[94] তোমরা স্বীয় কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক কলহ দ্বন্দ্বের বাহানা করো না। তা হলে দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর পা ফসকে যাবে এবং তোমরা শাস্তির স্বাদ আস্বাদন করবে এ কারণে যে, তোমরা আমার পথে বাধা দান করেছ এবং তোমাদের কঠোর শাস্তি হবে।

[94] And make not your oaths, a means of deception among yourselves, lest a foot should slip after being firmly planted, and you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allâh (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW), and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter).

[95] وَلا تَشتَروا بِعَهدِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَليلًا ۚ إِنَّما عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيرٌ لَكُم إِن كُنتُم تَعلَمونَ

[95] তোমরা আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকারের বিনিময়ে সামান্য মূল্য গ্রহণ করো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, তা উত্তম তোমাদের জন্যে, যদি তোমরা জ্ঞানী হও।

[95] And purchase not a small gain at the cost of Allâh’s Covenant. Verily! What is with Allâh is better for you if you did but know.

[96] ما عِندَكُم يَنفَدُ ۖ وَما عِندَ اللَّهِ باقٍ ۗ وَلَنَجزِيَنَّ الَّذينَ صَبَروا أَجرَهُم بِأَحسَنِ ما كانوا يَعمَلونَ

[96] তোমাদের কাছে যা আছে নিঃশেষ হয়ে যাবে এবং আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, কখনও তা শেষ হবে না। যারা সবর করে, আমি তাদেরকে প্রাপ্য প্রতিদান দেব তাদের উত্তম কর্মের প্রতিদান স্বরূপ যা তারা করত।

[96] Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever is with Allâh (of good deeds) will remain. And those who are patient, We will certainly pay them a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.

[97] مَن عَمِلَ صٰلِحًا مِن ذَكَرٍ أَو أُنثىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤمِنٌ فَلَنُحيِيَنَّهُ حَيوٰةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجزِيَنَّهُم أَجرَهُم بِأَحسَنِ ما كانوا يَعمَلونَ

[97] যে সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং সে ঈমাণদার, পুরুষ হোক কিংবা নারী আমি তাকে পবিত্র জীবন দান করব এবং প্রতিদানে তাদেরকে তাদের উত্তম কাজের কারণে প্রাপ্য পুরষ্কার দেব যা তারা করত।

[97] Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).

[98] فَإِذا قَرَأتَ القُرءانَ فَاستَعِذ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطٰنِ الرَّجيمِ

[98] অতএব, যখন আপনি কোরআন পাঠ করেন তখন বিতাড়িত শয়তান থেকে আল্লাহর আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করুন।

[98] So when you want to recite the Qur’ân, seek refuge with Allâh from Shaitân (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one).

[99] إِنَّهُ لَيسَ لَهُ سُلطٰنٌ عَلَى الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ

[99] তার আধিপত্য চলে না তাদের উপর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং আপন পালন কর্তার উপর ভরসা রাখে।

[99] Verily! He has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allâh).

[100] إِنَّما سُلطٰنُهُ عَلَى الَّذينَ يَتَوَلَّونَهُ وَالَّذينَ هُم بِهِ مُشرِكونَ

[100] তার আধিপত্য তো তাদের উপরই চলে, যারা তাকে বন্ধু মনে করে এবং যারা তাকে অংশীদার মানে।

[100] His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Satan), and those who join partners with Him (Allâh) [i.e. those who are Mushrikûn – polytheists – see Verse 6:121]
