[44] وَقيلَ يٰأَرضُ ابلَعى ماءَكِ وَيٰسَماءُ أَقلِعى وَغيضَ الماءُ وَقُضِىَ الأَمرُ وَاستَوَت عَلَى الجودِىِّ ۖ وَقيلَ بُعدًا لِلقَومِ الظّٰلِمينَ
[44] আর নির্দেশ দেয়া হল-হে পৃথিবী! তোমার পানি গিলে ফেল, আর হে আকাশ, ক্ষান্ত হও। আর পানি হ্রাস করা হল এবং কাজ শেষ হয়ে গেল, আর জুদী পর্বতে নৌকা ভিড়ল এবং ঘোষনা করা হল, দুরাত্না কাফেররা নিপাত যাক।
[44] And it was said: “O earth! Swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold (your rain).” And the water was made to subside and the Decree (of Allâh) was fulfilled (i.e. the destruction of the people of Nûh (Noah). And it (the ship) rested on Mount Judi, and it was said: “Away with the people who are Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)!”
