[77] ۞ قالوا إِن يَسرِق فَقَد سَرَقَ أَخٌ لَهُ مِن قَبلُ ۚ فَأَسَرَّها يوسُفُ فى نَفسِهِ وَلَم يُبدِها لَهُم ۚ قالَ أَنتُم شَرٌّ مَكانًا ۖ وَاللَّهُ أَعلَمُ بِما تَصِفونَ
[77] তারা বলতে লাগলঃ যদি সে চুরি করে থাকে, তবে তার এক ভাইও ইতিপূর্বে চুরি করেছিল। তখন ইউসুফ প্রকৃত ব্যাপার নিজের মনে রাখলেন এবং তাদেরকে জানালেন না। মনে মনে বললেনঃ তোমরা লোক হিসাবে নিতান্ত মন্দ এবং আল্লাহ খুব জ্ঞাত রয়েছেন, যা তোমরা বর্ণনা করছ;
[77] They [(Yûsuf’s (Joseph) brothers] said: “If he steals, there was a brother of his [Yûsuf (Joseph)] who did steal before (him).” But these things did Yûsuf (Joseph) keep in himself, revealing not the secrets to them. He said (within himself): “You are in worst case, and Allâh is the Best Knower of that which you discribe!”
