[69] أَوَعَجِبتُم أَن جاءَكُم ذِكرٌ مِن رَبِّكُم عَلىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنكُم لِيُنذِرَكُم ۚ وَاذكُروا إِذ جَعَلَكُم خُلَفاءَ مِن بَعدِ قَومِ نوحٍ وَزادَكُم فِى الخَلقِ بَصۜطَةً ۖ فَاذكُروا ءالاءَ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ
[69] তোমরা কি আশ্চর্য্যবোধ করছ যে, তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজনের বাচনিক উপদেশ এসেছে যাতে সে তোমাদেরকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে। তোমরা স্মরণ কর, যখন আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে কওমে নূহের পর সর্দার করেছেন এবং তোমাদের দেহের বিস্তৃতি বেশী করেছেন। তোমরা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতসমূহ স্মরণ কর-যাতে তোমাদের মঙ্গল হয়।
[69] “Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder (and an advice) from your Lord through a man from amongst you to warn you? And remember that He made you successors after the people of Nûh (Noah), and increased you amply in stature. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allâh, so that you may be successful.”
