[74] وَاذكُروا إِذ جَعَلَكُم خُلَفاءَ مِن بَعدِ عادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُم فِى الأَرضِ تَتَّخِذونَ مِن سُهولِها قُصورًا وَتَنحِتونَ الجِبالَ بُيوتًا ۖ فَاذكُروا ءالاءَ اللَّهِ وَلا تَعثَوا فِى الأَرضِ مُفسِدينَ
[74] তোমরা স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমাদেরকে আদ জাতির পরে সর্দার করেছেন; তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে ঠিকানা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা নরম মাটিতে অট্টালিকা নির্মান কর এবং পর্বত গাত্র খনন করে প্রকোষ্ঠ নির্মাণ কর। অতএব আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর এবং পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না।
[74] “And remember when He made you successors after ‘Ad (people) and gave you habitations in the land, you build for yourselves palaces in plains, and carve out homes in the mountains. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allâh, and do not go about making mischief on the earth.”
