[204] وَإِذا قُرِئَ القُرءانُ فَاستَمِعوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتوا لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ
[204] আর যখন কোরআন পাঠ করা হয়, তখন তাতে কান লাগিয়ে রাখ এবং নিশ্চুপ থাক যাতে তোমাদের উপর রহমত হয়।
[204] So, when the Qur’ân is recited, listen to it, and be silent that you may receive mercy. [i.e. during the compulsory congregational prayers when the Imâm (of a mosque) is leading the prayer (except Sûrat Al-Fâtihah), and also when he is delivering the Friday-prayer Khutbah].
