[41] ۞ وَاعلَموا أَنَّما غَنِمتُم مِن شَيءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسولِ وَلِذِى القُربىٰ وَاليَتٰمىٰ وَالمَسٰكينِ وَابنِ السَّبيلِ إِن كُنتُم ءامَنتُم بِاللَّهِ وَما أَنزَلنا عَلىٰ عَبدِنا يَومَ الفُرقانِ يَومَ التَقَى الجَمعانِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ
[41] আর এ কথাও জেনে রাখ যে, কোন বস্তু-সামগ্রীর মধ্য থেকে যা কিছু তোমরা গনীমত হিসাবে পাবে, তার এক পঞ্চমাংশ হল আল্লাহর জন্য, রসূলের জন্য, তাঁর নিকটাত্নীয়-স্বজনের জন্য এবং এতীম-অসহায় ও মুসাফিরদের জন্য; যদি তোমাদের বিশ্বাস থাকে আল্লাহর উপর এবং সে বিষয়ের উপর যা আমি আমার বান্দার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি ফয়সালার দিনে, যেদিন সম্মুখীন হয়ে যায় উভয় সেনাদল। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপরই ক্ষমতাশীল।
[41] And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allâh, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allâh and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad SAW) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) – and Allâh is Able to do all things.
