[54] كَدَأبِ ءالِ فِرعَونَ ۙ وَالَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ كَذَّبوا بِـٔايٰتِ رَبِّهِم فَأَهلَكنٰهُم بِذُنوبِهِم وَأَغرَقنا ءالَ فِرعَونَ ۚ وَكُلٌّ كانوا ظٰلِمينَ
[54] যেমন ছিল রীতি ফেরাউনের বংশধর এবং যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল, তারা মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছিল স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহকে। অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি তাদের পাপের দরুন এবং ডুবিয়ে মেরেছি ফেরাউনের বংশধরদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ এরা সবাই ছিল যালেম।
[54] Similar to the behaviour of the people of Fir’aun (Pharaoh), and those before them. They belied the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Fir’aun (Pharaoh) for they were all Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).
