[41] ۞ وَيٰقَومِ ما لى أَدعوكُم إِلَى النَّجوٰةِ وَتَدعونَنى إِلَى النّارِ
[41] হে আমার কওম, ব্যাপার কি, আমি তোমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দেই মুক্তির দিকে, আর তোমরা আমাকে দাওয়াত দাও জাহান্নামের দিকে।
[41] “And O my people! How is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire!

[42] تَدعونَنى لِأَكفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَأُشرِكَ بِهِ ما لَيسَ لى بِهِ عِلمٌ وَأَنا۠ أَدعوكُم إِلَى العَزيزِ الغَفّٰرِ
[42] তোমরা আমাকে দাওয়াত দাও, যাতে আমি আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করি এবং তাঁর সাথে শরীক করি এমন বস্তুকে, যার কোন প্রমাণ আমার কাছে নেই। আমি তোমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দেই পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর দিকে।
[42] “You invite me to disbelieve in Allâh (and in His Oneness), and to join partners in worship with Him of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving!

[43] لا جَرَمَ أَنَّما تَدعونَنى إِلَيهِ لَيسَ لَهُ دَعوَةٌ فِى الدُّنيا وَلا فِى الءاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ المُسرِفينَ هُم أَصحٰبُ النّارِ
[43] এতে সন্দেহ নেই যে, তোমরা আমাকে যার দিকে দাওয়াত দাও, হইকালে ও পরকালে তার কোন দাওয়াত নেই! আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন আল্লাহর দিকে এবং সীমা লংঘকারীরাই জাহান্নামী।
[43] “No doubt you call me to (worship) one who cannot grant (me) my request (or respond to my invocation) in this world or in the Hereafter. And our return will be to Allâh, and Al-Musrifûn (i.e. polytheists and arrogants, those who commit great sins, the transgressors of Allâh’s set limits)! they shall be the dwellers of the Fire!

[44] فَسَتَذكُرونَ ما أَقولُ لَكُم ۚ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمرى إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصيرٌ بِالعِبادِ
[44] আমি তোমাদেরকে যা বলছি, তোমরা একদিন তা স্মরণ করবে। আমি আমার ব্যাপার আল্লাহর কাছে সমর্পণ করছি। নিশ্চয় বান্দারা আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে।
[44] “And you will remember what I am telling you, and my affair I leave it to Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the All-Seer of (His) slaves.”

[45] فَوَقىٰهُ اللَّهُ سَيِّـٔاتِ ما مَكَروا ۖ وَحاقَ بِـٔالِ فِرعَونَ سوءُ العَذابِ
[45] অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে তাদের চক্রান্তের অনিষ্ট থেকে রক্ষা করলেন এবং ফেরাউন গোত্রকে শোচনীয় আযাব গ্রাস করল।
[45] So Allâh saved him from the evils that they plotted (against him), while an evil torment encompassed Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) people.

[46] النّارُ يُعرَضونَ عَلَيها غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيًّا ۖ وَيَومَ تَقومُ السّاعَةُ أَدخِلوا ءالَ فِرعَونَ أَشَدَّ العَذابِ
[46] সকালে ও সন্ধ্যায় তাদেরকে আগুনের সামনে পেশ করা হয় এবং যেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে, সেদিন আদেশ করা হবে, ফেরাউন গোত্রকে কঠিনতর আযাবে দাখিল কর।
[46] The Fire; they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): “Cause Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) people to enter the severest torment!”

[47] وَإِذ يَتَحاجّونَ فِى النّارِ فَيَقولُ الضُّعَفٰؤُا۟ لِلَّذينَ استَكبَروا إِنّا كُنّا لَكُم تَبَعًا فَهَل أَنتُم مُغنونَ عَنّا نَصيبًا مِنَ النّارِ
[47] যখন তারা জাহান্নামে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করবে, অতঃপর দূর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, আমরা তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম। তোমরা এখন জাহান্নামের আগুনের কিছু অংশ আমাদের থেকে নিবৃত করবে কি?
[47] And, when they will dispute in the Fire, the weak will say to those who were arrogant;”Verily! We followed you, can you then take from us some portion of the Fire?”

[48] قالَ الَّذينَ استَكبَروا إِنّا كُلٌّ فيها إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَد حَكَمَ بَينَ العِبادِ
[48] অহংকারীরা বলবে, আমরা সবাই তো জাহান্নামে আছি। আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের ফয়সালা করে দিয়েছেন।
[48] Those who were arrogant will say: “We are all (together) in this (Fire)! Verily Allâh has judged between (His) slaves!”

[49] وَقالَ الَّذينَ فِى النّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادعوا رَبَّكُم يُخَفِّف عَنّا يَومًا مِنَ العَذابِ
[49] যারা জাহান্নামে আছে, তারা জাহান্নামের রক্ষীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে বল, তিনি যেন আমাদের থেকে একদিনের আযাব লাঘব করে দেন।
[49] And those in the Fire will say to the keepers (angels) of Hell: “Call upon your Lord to lighten for us the torment for a day!”

[50] قالوا أَوَلَم تَكُ تَأتيكُم رُسُلُكُم بِالبَيِّنٰتِ ۖ قالوا بَلىٰ ۚ قالوا فَادعوا ۗ وَما دُعٰؤُا۟ الكٰفِرينَ إِلّا فى ضَلٰلٍ
[50] রক্ষীরা বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ তোমাদের রসূল আসেননি? তারা বলবে হঁ্যা। রক্ষীরা বলবে, তবে তোমরাই দোয়া কর। বস্তুতঃ কাফেরদের দোয়া নিস্ফলই হয়।
[50] They will say: “Did there not come to you, your Messengers with (clear) evidences (and signs)? They will say: “Yes.” They will reply: “Then call (as you like)! And the invocation of the disbelievers is nothing but in vain (as it will not be answered by Allah)!”

[51] إِنّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنا وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَيَومَ يَقومُ الأَشهٰدُ
[51] আমি সাহায্য করব রসূলগণকে ও মুমিনগণকে পার্থিব জীবনে ও সাক্ষীদের দন্ডায়মান হওয়ার দিবসে।
[51] Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh — Islâmic Monotheism) in this world’s life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth, (i.e. Day of Resurrection),—

[52] يَومَ لا يَنفَعُ الظّٰلِمينَ مَعذِرَتُهُم ۖ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعنَةُ وَلَهُم سوءُ الدّارِ
[52] সে দিন যালেমদের ওযর-আপত্তি কোন উপকারে আসবে না, তাদের জন্যে থাকবে অভিশাপ এবং তাদের জন্যে থাকবে মন্দ গৃহ।
[52] The Day when their excuses will be of no profit to Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh). Theirs will be the curse, and theirs will be the evil abode (i.e. painful torment in Hell-fire).

[53] وَلَقَد ءاتَينا موسَى الهُدىٰ وَأَورَثنا بَنى إِسرٰءيلَ الكِتٰبَ
[53] নিশ্চয় আমি মূসাকে হেদায়েত দান করেছিলাম এবং বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাবের উত্তরাধিকারী করেছিলাম।
[53] And, indeed We gave Mûsa (Moses) the guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurât (Torah)],—

[54] هُدًى وَذِكرىٰ لِأُولِى الأَلبٰبِ
[54] বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশ ও হেদায়েত স্বরূপ।
[54] A guide and a reminder for men of understanding,

[55] فَاصبِر إِنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَاستَغفِر لِذَنبِكَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ بِالعَشِىِّ وَالإِبكٰرِ
[55] অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। আপনি আপনার গোনাহের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রর্থনা করুন এবং সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রশংসাসহ পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন।
[55] So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkâr (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salât (prayers) or the ‘Asr and Fajr prayers].

[56] إِنَّ الَّذينَ يُجٰدِلونَ فى ءايٰتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيرِ سُلطٰنٍ أَتىٰهُم ۙ إِن فى صُدورِهِم إِلّا كِبرٌ ما هُم بِبٰلِغيهِ ۚ فَاستَعِذ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ البَصيرُ
[56] নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে তাদের কাছে আগত কোন দলীল ব্যতিরেকে, তাদের অন্তরে আছে কেবল আত্নম্ভরিতা, যা অর্জনে তারা সফল হবে না। অতএব, আপনি আল্লাহর আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করুন। নিশ্চয় তিনি সবকিছু শুনেন, সবকিছু দেখেন।
[56] Verily, those who dispute about the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, without any authority having come to them, there is nothing else in their breasts except pride [to accept you (Muhammad SAW) as a Messenger of Allâh and to obey you]. They will never have it (i.e. Prophethood which Allâh has bestowed upon you). So seek refuge in Allâh (O Muhammad SAW from the arrogants). Verily, it is He Who is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

[57] لَخَلقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ أَكبَرُ مِن خَلقِ النّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَ النّاسِ لا يَعلَمونَ
[57] মানুষের সৃষ্টি অপেক্ষা নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডলের সৃষ্টি কঠিনতর। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ বোঝে না।
[57] The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind, yet most of mankind know not.

[58] وَما يَستَوِى الأَعمىٰ وَالبَصيرُ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَلَا المُسيءُ ۚ قَليلًا ما تَتَذَكَّرونَ
[58] অন্ধ ও চক্ষুষ্মান সমান নয়, আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং কুকর্মী। তোমরা অল্পই অনুধাবন করে থাক।
[58] And not equal are the blind and those who see, nor are (equal) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh — Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!

[59] إِنَّ السّاعَةَ لَءاتِيَةٌ لا رَيبَ فيها وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَ النّاسِ لا يُؤمِنونَ
[59] কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে, এতে সন্দেহ নেই; কিন্ত অধিকাংশ লোক বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না।
[59] Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt it, yet most men believe not.

[60] وَقالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادعونى أَستَجِب لَكُم ۚ إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَستَكبِرونَ عَن عِبادَتى سَيَدخُلونَ جَهَنَّمَ داخِرينَ
[60] তোমাদের পালনকর্তা বলেন, তোমরা আমাকে ডাক, আমি সাড়া দেব। যারা আমার এবাদতে অহংকার করে তারা সত্বরই জাহান্নামে দাখিল হবে লাঞ্ছিত হয়ে।
[60] And your Lord said: “Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islâmic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!”
