[181] لَقَد سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَولَ الَّذينَ قالوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَقيرٌ وَنَحنُ أَغنِياءُ ۘ سَنَكتُبُ ما قالوا وَقَتلَهُمُ الأَنبِياءَ بِغَيرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقولُ ذوقوا عَذابَ الحَريقِ

[181] নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাদের কথা শুনেছেন, যারা বলেছে যে, আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবগ্রস্ত আর আমরা বিত্তবান! এখন আমি তাদের কথা এবং যেসব নবীকে তারা অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে তা লিখে রাখব, অতঃপর বলব, আস্বাদন কর জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।

[181] Indeed, Allâh has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: “Truly, Allâh is poor and we are rich!” We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: “Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire).”

[182] ذٰلِكَ بِما قَدَّمَت أَيديكُم وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيسَ بِظَلّامٍ لِلعَبيدِ

[182] এ হল তারই প্রতিফল যা তোমরা ইতিপূর্বে নিজের হাতে পাঠিয়েছ। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ বান্দাদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করেন না।

[182] This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allâh is never unjust to (His) slaves.

[183] الَّذينَ قالوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَينا أَلّا نُؤمِنَ لِرَسولٍ حَتّىٰ يَأتِيَنا بِقُربانٍ تَأكُلُهُ النّارُ ۗ قُل قَد جاءَكُم رُسُلٌ مِن قَبلى بِالبَيِّنٰتِ وَبِالَّذى قُلتُم فَلِمَ قَتَلتُموهُم إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ

[183] সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা বলে যে, আল্লাহ আমাদিগকে এমন কোন রসূলের ওপর বিশ্বাস না করতে বলে রেখেছেন যতক্ষণ না তারা আমাদের নিকট এমন কোরবানী নিয়ে আসবেন যাকে আগুন গ্রাস করে নেবে। তুমি তাদের বলে দাও, তোমাদের মাঝে আমার পূর্বে বহু রসূল নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং তোমরা যা আব্দার করেছ তা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তখন তোমরা কেন তাদেরকে হত্যা করলে যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক।

[183] Those (Jews) who said: “Verily, Allâh has taken our promise not to believe in any Messenger unless he brings to us an offering which the fire (from heaven) shall devour.” Say: “Verily, there came to you Messengers before me, with clear signs and even with what you speak of; why then did you kill them, if you are truthful?”

[184] فَإِن كَذَّبوكَ فَقَد كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِن قَبلِكَ جاءو بِالبَيِّنٰتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالكِتٰبِ المُنيرِ

[184] তাছাড়া এরা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করে, তবে তোমার পূর্বেও এরা এমন বহু নবীকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে, যারা নিদর্শন সমূহ নিয়ে এসেছিলেন। এবং এনেছিলেন সহীফা ও প্রদীপ্ত গ্রন্থ।

[184] Then if they reject you (O Muhammad SAW), so were Messengers rejected before you, who came with Al-Baiyyinât (clear signs, proofs, evidences) and the Scripture and the Book of Enlightenment.

[185] كُلُّ نَفسٍ ذائِقَةُ المَوتِ ۗ وَإِنَّما تُوَفَّونَ أُجورَكُم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحزِحَ عَنِ النّارِ وَأُدخِلَ الجَنَّةَ فَقَد فازَ ۗ وَمَا الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا إِلّا مَتٰعُ الغُرورِ

[185] প্রত্যেক প্রাণীকে আস্বাদন করতে হবে মৃত্যু। আর তোমরা কেয়ামতের দিন পরিপূর্ণ বদলা প্রাপ্ত হবে। তারপর যাকে দোযখ থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করানো হবে, তার কার্যসিদ্ধি ঘটবে। আর পার্থিব জীবন ধোঁকা ছাড়া অন্য কোন সম্পদ নয়।

[185] Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

[186] ۞ لَتُبلَوُنَّ فى أَموٰلِكُم وَأَنفُسِكُم وَلَتَسمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذينَ أوتُوا الكِتٰبَ مِن قَبلِكُم وَمِنَ الَّذينَ أَشرَكوا أَذًى كَثيرًا ۚ وَإِن تَصبِروا وَتَتَّقوا فَإِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِن عَزمِ الأُمورِ

[186] অবশ্য ধন-সম্পদে এবং জনসম্পদে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা হবে এবং অবশ্য তোমরা শুনবে পূর্ববর্তী আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে এবং মুশরিকদের কাছে বহু অশোভন উক্তি। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন কর, তবে তা হবে একান্ত সৎসাহসের ব্যাপার।

[186] You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allâh; but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – See V.2:2) then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs (and that is from the great matters which you must hold on with all your efforts).

[187] وَإِذ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ ميثٰقَ الَّذينَ أوتُوا الكِتٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنّاسِ وَلا تَكتُمونَهُ فَنَبَذوهُ وَراءَ ظُهورِهِم وَاشتَرَوا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَليلًا ۖ فَبِئسَ ما يَشتَرونَ

[187] আর আল্লাহ যখন আহলে কিতাবদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিজ্ঞা গ্রহণ করলেন যে, তা মানুষের নিকট বর্ণনা করবে এবং গোপন করবে না, তখন তারা সে প্রতিজ্ঞাকে নিজেদের পেছনে ফেলে রাখল আর তার কেনা-বেচা করল সামান্য মূল্যের বিনিময়ে। সুতরাং কতই না মন্দ তাদের এ বেচা-কেনা।

[187] (And remember) when Allâh took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.

[188] لا تَحسَبَنَّ الَّذينَ يَفرَحونَ بِما أَتَوا وَيُحِبّونَ أَن يُحمَدوا بِما لَم يَفعَلوا فَلا تَحسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفازَةٍ مِنَ العَذابِ ۖ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ

[188] তুমি মনে করো না, যারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের উপর আনন্দিত হয় এবং না করা বিষয়ের জন্য প্রশংসা কামনা করে, তারা আমার নিকট থেকে অব্যাহতি লাভ করেছে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।

[188] Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about), and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think not you that they are rescued from the torment, and for them is a painful torment.

[189] وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ

[189] আর আল্লাহর জন্যই হল আসমান ও যমিনের বাদশাহী। আল্লাহই সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতার অধিকারী।

[189] And to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allâh has power over all things.

[190] إِنَّ فى خَلقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَاختِلٰفِ الَّيلِ وَالنَّهارِ لَءايٰتٍ لِأُولِى الأَلبٰبِ

[190] নিশ্চয় আসমান ও যমীন সৃষ্টিতে এবং রাত্রি ও দিনের আবর্তনে নিদর্শন রয়েছে বোধ সম্পন্ন লোকদের জন্যে।

[190] Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.

[191] الَّذينَ يَذكُرونَ اللَّهَ قِيٰمًا وَقُعودًا وَعَلىٰ جُنوبِهِم وَيَتَفَكَّرونَ فى خَلقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ رَبَّنا ما خَلَقتَ هٰذا بٰطِلًا سُبحٰنَكَ فَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ

[191] যাঁরা দাঁড়িয়ে, বসে, ও শায়িত অবস্থায় আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করে এবং চিন্তা গবেষণা করে আসমান ও জমিন সৃষ্টির বিষযে, (তারা বলে) পরওয়ারদেগার! এসব তুমি অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করনি। সকল পবিত্রতা তোমারই, আমাদিগকে তুমি দোযখের শাস্তি থেকে বাঁচাও।

[191] Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.

[192] رَبَّنا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدخِلِ النّارَ فَقَد أَخزَيتَهُ ۖ وَما لِلظّٰلِمينَ مِن أَنصارٍ

[192] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! নিশ্চয় তুমি যাকে দোযখে নিক্ষেপ করলে তাকে সবসময়ে অপমানিত করলে; আর জালেমদের জন্যে তো সাহায্যকারী নেই।

[192] “Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.

[193] رَبَّنا إِنَّنا سَمِعنا مُنادِيًا يُنادى لِلإيمٰنِ أَن ءامِنوا بِرَبِّكُم فَـٔامَنّا ۚ رَبَّنا فَاغفِر لَنا ذُنوبَنا وَكَفِّر عَنّا سَيِّـٔاتِنا وَتَوَفَّنا مَعَ الأَبرارِ

[193] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমরা নিশ্চিতরূপে শুনেছি একজন আহবানকারীকে ঈমানের প্রতি আহবান করতে যে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি ঈমান আন; তাই আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! অতঃপর আমাদের সকল গোনাহ মাফ কর এবং আমাদের সকল দোষত্রুটি দুর করে দাও, আর আমাদের মৃত্যু দাও নেক লোকদের সাথে।

[193] “Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling to Faith: ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrâr (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).

[194] رَبَّنا وَءاتِنا ما وَعَدتَنا عَلىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلا تُخزِنا يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لا تُخلِفُ الميعادَ

[194] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদেরকে দাও, যা তুমি ওয়াদা করেছ তোমার রসূলগণের মাধ্যমে এবং কিয়ামতের দিন আমাদিগকে তুমি অপমানিত করো না। নিশ্চয় তুমি ওয়াদা খেলাফ করো না।

[194] “Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise.”

[195] فَاستَجابَ لَهُم رَبُّهُم أَنّى لا أُضيعُ عَمَلَ عٰمِلٍ مِنكُم مِن ذَكَرٍ أَو أُنثىٰ ۖ بَعضُكُم مِن بَعضٍ ۖ فَالَّذينَ هاجَروا وَأُخرِجوا مِن دِيٰرِهِم وَأوذوا فى سَبيلى وَقٰتَلوا وَقُتِلوا لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنهُم سَيِّـٔاتِهِم وَلَأُدخِلَنَّهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ثَوابًا مِن عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ حُسنُ الثَّوابِ

[195] অতঃপর তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের দোয়া (এই বলে) কবুল করে নিলেন যে, আমি তোমাদের কোন পরিশ্রমকারীর পরিশ্রমই বিনষ্ট করি না, তা সে পুরুষ হোক কিংবা স্ত্রীলোক। তোমরা পরস্পর এক। তারপর সে সমস্ত লোক যারা হিজরত করেছে, তাদেরকে নিজেদের দেশ থেকে বের করে দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং তাদের প্রতি উৎপীড়ন করা হয়েছে আমার পথে এবং যারা লড়াই করেছে ও মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে, অবশ্যই আমি তাদের উপর থেকে অকল্যাণকে অপসারিত করব। এবং তাদেরকে প্রবিষ্ট করব জান্নাতে যার তলদেশে নহর সমূহ প্রবাহিত। এই হলো বিনিময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। আর আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে উত্তম বিনিময়।

[195] So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), “Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will expiate from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allâh, and with Allâh is the best of rewards.”

[196] لا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا فِى البِلٰدِ

[196] নগরীতে কাফেরদের চাল-চলন যেন তোমাদিগকে ধোঁকা না দেয়।

[196] Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you.

[197] مَتٰعٌ قَليلٌ ثُمَّ مَأوىٰهُم جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئسَ المِهادُ

[197] এটা হলো সামান্য ফায়দা-এরপর তাদের ঠিকানা হবে দোযখ। আর সেটি হলো অতি নিকৃষ্ট অবস্থান।

[197] A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.

[198] لٰكِنِ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم لَهُم جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها نُزُلًا مِن عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَما عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيرٌ لِلأَبرارِ

[198] কিন্তু যারা ভয় করে নিজেদের পালনকর্তাকে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাত যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে প্রস্রবণ। তাতে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সদা আপ্যায়ন চলতে থাকবে। আর যা আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে, তা সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্যে একান্তই উত্তম।

[198] But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allâh; and that which is with Allâh is the Best for Al-Abrâr (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).

[199] وَإِنَّ مِن أَهلِ الكِتٰبِ لَمَن يُؤمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم وَما أُنزِلَ إِلَيهِم خٰشِعينَ لِلَّهِ لا يَشتَرونَ بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَليلًا ۗ أُولٰئِكَ لَهُم أَجرُهُم عِندَ رَبِّهِم ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَريعُ الحِسابِ

[199] আর আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ এমনও রয়েছে, যারা আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান আনে এবং যা কিছু তোমার উপর অবতীর্ণ হয় আর যা কিছু তাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে সেগুলোর উপর, আল্লাহর সামনে বিনয়াবনত থাকে এবং আল্লার আয়াতসমুহকে স্বল্পমুল্যের বিনিময়ে সওদা করে না, তারাই হলো সে লোক যাদের জন্য পারিশ্রমিক রয়েছে তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ যথাশীঘ্র হিসাব চুকিয়ে দেন।

[199] And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allâh and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allâh. They do not sell the Verses of Allâh for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allâh is Swift in account.

[200] يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اصبِروا وَصابِروا وَرابِطوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ

[200] হে ঈমানদানগণ! ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং মোকাবেলায় দৃঢ়তা অবলম্বন কর। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক যাতে তোমরা তোমাদের উদ্দেশ্য লাভে সমর্থ হতে পার।

[200] O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allâh, so that you may be successful.
