[132] وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجٰتٌ مِمّا عَمِلوا ۚ وَما رَبُّكَ بِغٰفِلٍ عَمّا يَعمَلونَ

[132] প্রত্যেকের জন্যে তাদের কর্মের আনুপাতিক মর্যাদা আছে এবং আপনার প্রতিপালক তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে বেখবর নন।

[132] For all there will be degrees (or ranks) according to what they did. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.

[133] وَرَبُّكَ الغَنِىُّ ذُو الرَّحمَةِ ۚ إِن يَشَأ يُذهِبكُم وَيَستَخلِف مِن بَعدِكُم ما يَشاءُ كَما أَنشَأَكُم مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ قَومٍ ءاخَرينَ

[133] আপনার প্রতিপালক অমুখাপেক্ষী, করুণাময়। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে উচ্ছেদ করে দিবেন এবং তোমাদের পর যাকে ইচ্ছা তোমাদের স্থলে অভিষিক্ত করবেন; যেমন তোমাদেরকে অন্য এক সম্প্রদায়ের বংশধর থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।

[133] And your Lord is Rich (Free of all wants), full of Mercy, if He wills, He can destroy you, and in your place make whom He wills as your successors, as He raised you from the seed of other people.

[134] إِنَّ ما توعَدونَ لَءاتٍ ۖ وَما أَنتُم بِمُعجِزينَ

[134] যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা তোমাদের সাথে করা হয়, তা অবশ্যই আগমন করবে এবং তোমরা অক্ষম করতে পারবে না।

[134] Surely, that which you are promised will verily come to pass, and you cannot escape (from the Punishment of Allâh).

[135] قُل يٰقَومِ اعمَلوا عَلىٰ مَكانَتِكُم إِنّى عامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوفَ تَعلَمونَ مَن تَكونُ لَهُ عٰقِبَةُ الدّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لا يُفلِحُ الظّٰلِمونَ

[135] আপনি বলে দিনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা স্বস্থানে কাজ করে যাও, আমিও কাজ করি। অচিরেই জানতে পারবে যে, পরিণাম গৃহ কে লাভ করে। নিশ্চয় জালেমরা সুফলপ্রাপ্ত হবে না।

[135] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O my people! Work according to your way, surely, I too am working (in my way), and you will come to know for which of us will be the (happy) end in the Hereafter. Certainly the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers) will not be successful.”

[136] وَجَعَلوا لِلَّهِ مِمّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ الحَرثِ وَالأَنعٰمِ نَصيبًا فَقالوا هٰذا لِلَّهِ بِزَعمِهِم وَهٰذا لِشُرَكائِنا ۖ فَما كانَ لِشُرَكائِهِم فَلا يَصِلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَما كانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلىٰ شُرَكائِهِم ۗ ساءَ ما يَحكُمونَ

[136] আল্লাহ যেসব শস্যক্ষেত্র ও জীবজন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন, সেগুলো থেকে তারা এক অংশ আল্লাহর জন্য নির্ধারণ করে অতঃপর নিজ ধারণা অনুসারে বলে এটা আল্লাহর এবং এটা আমাদের অংশীদারদের। অতঃপর যে অংশ তাদের অংশীদারদের, তা তো আল্লাহর দিকে পৌঁছে না এবং যা আল্লাহর তা তাদের উপাস্যদের দিকে পৌছে যায়। তাদের বিচার কতই না মন্দ।

[136] And they assign to Allâh a share of the tilth and cattle which He has created, and they say: “This is for Allâh according to their claim, and this is for our (Allâh’s so¬called) partners.” But the share of their (Allâh’s so¬called) “partners” reaches not Allâh, while the share of Allâh reaches their (Allâh’s so¬called) “partners”! Evil is the way they judge!

[137] وَكَذٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثيرٍ مِنَ المُشرِكينَ قَتلَ أَولٰدِهِم شُرَكاؤُهُم لِيُردوهُم وَلِيَلبِسوا عَلَيهِم دينَهُم ۖ وَلَو شاءَ اللَّهُ ما فَعَلوهُ ۖ فَذَرهُم وَما يَفتَرونَ

[137] এমনিভাবে অনেক মুশরিকের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের উপাস্যরা সন্তান হত্যাকে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে যেন তারা তাদেরকে বিনষ্ট করে দেয় এবং তাদের ধর্মমতকে তাদের কাছে বিভ্রান্ত করে দেয়। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তারা এ কাজ করত না। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মনগড়া বুলিকে পরিত্যাগ করুন।

[137] And so to many of the Mushrikûn (polytheists – see V.2:105) their (Allâh’s so¬called) “partners” have made fair-seeming the killing of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction and cause confusion in their religion. And if Allâh had willed, they would not have done so. So leave them alone with their fabrications.

[138] وَقالوا هٰذِهِ أَنعٰمٌ وَحَرثٌ حِجرٌ لا يَطعَمُها إِلّا مَن نَشاءُ بِزَعمِهِم وَأَنعٰمٌ حُرِّمَت ظُهورُها وَأَنعٰمٌ لا يَذكُرونَ اسمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيهَا افتِراءً عَلَيهِ ۚ سَيَجزيهِم بِما كانوا يَفتَرونَ

[138] তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও শস্যক্ষেত্র নিষিদ্ধ। আমরা যাকে ইচছা করি, সে ছাড়া এগুলো কেউ খেতে পারবে না, তাদের ধারণা অনুসারে। আর কিছুসংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পিঠে আরোহন হারাম করা হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর উপর তারা ভ্রান্ত ধারনা বশতঃ আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে না, তাদের মনগড়া বুলির কারণে, অচিরেই তিনি তাদের কে শাস্তি দিবেন।

[138] And according to their claim, they say that such and such cattle and crops are forbidden, and none should eat of them except those whom we allow. And (they say) there are cattle forbidden to be used for burden (or any other work), and cattle on which (at slaughtering) the Name of Allâh is not pronounced; lying against Him (Allâh). He will recompense them for what they used to fabricate.

[139] وَقالوا ما فى بُطونِ هٰذِهِ الأَنعٰمِ خالِصَةٌ لِذُكورِنا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلىٰ أَزوٰجِنا ۖ وَإِن يَكُن مَيتَةً فَهُم فيهِ شُرَكاءُ ۚ سَيَجزيهِم وَصفَهُم ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكيمٌ عَليمٌ

[139] তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পেটে যা আছে, তা বিশেষ ভাবে আমাদের পুরুষদের জন্যে এবং আমাদের মহিলাদের জন্যে তা হারাম। যদি তা মৃত হয়, তবে তার প্রাপক হিসাবে সবাই সমান। অচিরেই তিনি তাদেরকে তাদের বর্ণনার শাস্তি দিবেন। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, মহাজ্ঞানী।

[139] And they say: “What is in the bellies of such and such cattle (milk or foetus) is for our males alone, and forbidden to our females (girls and women), but if it is born dead, then all have shares therein.” He will punish them for their attribution (of such false orders to Allâh). Verily, He is All¬Wise, All¬Knower. (Tafsir At¬Tabarî).

[140] قَد خَسِرَ الَّذينَ قَتَلوا أَولٰدَهُم سَفَهًا بِغَيرِ عِلمٍ وَحَرَّموا ما رَزَقَهُمُ اللَّهُ افتِراءً عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ قَد ضَلّوا وَما كانوا مُهتَدينَ

[140] নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে, যারা নিজ সন্তানদেরকে নির্বুদ্ধিতাবশতঃ কোন প্রমাণ ছাড়াই হত্যা করেছে এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যেসব দিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি ভ্রান্ত ধারণা পোষণ করে হারাম করে নিয়েছে। নিশ্চিতই তারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং সুপথগামী হয়নি।

[140] Indeed lost are they who have killed their children, foolishly, without knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allâh has provided for them, inventing a lie against Allâh. They have indeed gone astray and were not guided.

[141] ۞ وَهُوَ الَّذى أَنشَأَ جَنّٰتٍ مَعروشٰتٍ وَغَيرَ مَعروشٰتٍ وَالنَّخلَ وَالزَّرعَ مُختَلِفًا أُكُلُهُ وَالزَّيتونَ وَالرُّمّانَ مُتَشٰبِهًا وَغَيرَ مُتَشٰبِهٍ ۚ كُلوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ إِذا أَثمَرَ وَءاتوا حَقَّهُ يَومَ حَصادِهِ ۖ وَلا تُسرِفوا ۚ إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ المُسرِفينَ

[141] তিনিই উদ্যান সমূহ সৃষ্টি করেছে-তাও, যা মাচার উপর তুলে দেয়া হয়, এবং যা মাচার উপর তোলা হয় না এবং খর্জুর বৃক্ষ ও শস্যক্ষেত্র যেসবের স্বাদবিশিষ্ট এবং যয়তুন ও আনার সৃষ্টি করেছেন-একে অন্যের সাদৃশ্যশীল এবং সাদৃশ্যহীন। এগুলোর ফল খাও, যখন ফলন্ত হয় এবং হক দান কর কর্তনের সময়ে এবং অপব্যয় করো না। নিশ্চয় তিনি অপব্যয়ীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।

[141] And it is He Who produces gardens trellised and untrellised, and date¬palms, and crops of different shape and taste (their fruits and their seeds) and olives, and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in taste). Eat of their fruit when they ripen, but pay the due thereof (its Zakât, according to Allâh’s Orders 1/10th or 1/20th) on the day of its harvest, and waste not by extravagance. Verily, He likes not Al-Musrifûn (those who waste by extravagance),

[142] وَمِنَ الأَنعٰمِ حَمولَةً وَفَرشًا ۚ كُلوا مِمّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعوا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيطٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُم عَدُوٌّ مُبينٌ

[142] তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে বোঝা বহনকারীকে এবং খর্বাকৃতিকে। আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে খাও এবং শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।

[142] And of the cattle (are some) for burden (like camels) and (some are) small (unable to carry burden like sheep, goats for food, meat, milk, wool). Eat of what Allâh has provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan). Surely he is to you an open enemy.

[143] ثَمٰنِيَةَ أَزوٰجٍ ۖ مِنَ الضَّأنِ اثنَينِ وَمِنَ المَعزِ اثنَينِ ۗ قُل ءالذَّكَرَينِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنثَيَينِ أَمَّا اشتَمَلَت عَلَيهِ أَرحامُ الأُنثَيَينِ ۖ نَبِّـٔونى بِعِلمٍ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ

[143] সৃষ্টি করেছেন আটটি নর ও মাদী। ভেড়ার মধ্যে দুই প্রকার ও ছাগলের মধ্যে দুই প্রকার। জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তিনি কি উভয় নর হারাম করেছেন, না উভয় মাদীকে ? না যা উভয় মাদীর পেটে আছে? তোমরা আমাকে প্রমাণসহ বল, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।

[143] Eight pairs; of the sheep two (male and female), and of the goats two (male and female). Say: “Has He forbidden the two males or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Inform me with knowledge if you are truthful.”

[144] وَمِنَ الإِبِلِ اثنَينِ وَمِنَ البَقَرِ اثنَينِ ۗ قُل ءالذَّكَرَينِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنثَيَينِ أَمَّا اشتَمَلَت عَلَيهِ أَرحامُ الأُنثَيَينِ ۖ أَم كُنتُم شُهَداءَ إِذ وَصّىٰكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهٰذا ۚ فَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّنِ افتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النّاسَ بِغَيرِ عِلمٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهدِى القَومَ الظّٰلِمينَ

[144] সৃষ্টি করেছেন উটের মধ্যে দুই প্রকার এবং গরুর মধ্যে দুই প্রকার। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ তিনি কি উভয় নর হারাম করেছেন, না উভয় মাদীকে, না যা উভয় মাদীর পেটে আছে? তোমরা কি উপস্থিত ছিলে, যখন আল্লাহ এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন? অতএব সে ব্যক্তি অপেক্ষা বেশী অত্যচারী কে, যে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা ধারণা পোষন করে যাতে করে মানুষকে বিনা প্রমাণে পথভ্রষ্ট করতে পারে? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অত্যাচারী সম্প্রদায়কে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন না।

[144] And of the camels two (male and female), and of oxen two (male and female). Say: “Has He forbidden the two males or the two females or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Or were you present when Allâh ordered you such a thing? Then who does more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allâh, to lead mankind astray without knowledge. Certainly Allâh guides not the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).”

[145] قُل لا أَجِدُ فى ما أوحِىَ إِلَىَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلىٰ طاعِمٍ يَطعَمُهُ إِلّا أَن يَكونَ مَيتَةً أَو دَمًا مَسفوحًا أَو لَحمَ خِنزيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجسٌ أَو فِسقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۚ فَمَنِ اضطُرَّ غَيرَ باغٍ وَلا عادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ

[145] আপনি বলে দিনঃ যা কিছু বিধান ওহীর মাধ্যমে আমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তন্মধ্যে আমি কোন হারাম খাদ্য পাই না কোন ভক্ষণকারীর জন্যে, যা সে ভক্ষণ করে; কিন্তু মৃত অথবা প্রবাহিত রক্ত অথবা শুকরের মাংস এটা অপবিত্র অথবা অবৈধ; যবেহ করা জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অতপর যে ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে এমতাবস্থায় যে অবাধ্যতা করে না এবং সীমালঙ্গন করে না, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।

[145] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “I find not in that which has been revealed to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be Maitah (a dead animal) or blood poured forth (by slaughtering or the like), or the flesh of swine (pork) for that surely is impure, or impious (unlawful) meat (of an animal) which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allâh (or has been slaughtered for idols or on which Allâh’s Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But whosoever is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, (for him) certainly, your Lord is Oft¬Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

[146] وَعَلَى الَّذينَ هادوا حَرَّمنا كُلَّ ذى ظُفُرٍ ۖ وَمِنَ البَقَرِ وَالغَنَمِ حَرَّمنا عَلَيهِم شُحومَهُما إِلّا ما حَمَلَت ظُهورُهُما أَوِ الحَوايا أَو مَا اختَلَطَ بِعَظمٍ ۚ ذٰلِكَ جَزَينٰهُم بِبَغيِهِم ۖ وَإِنّا لَصٰدِقونَ

[146] ইহুদীদের জন্যে আমি প্রত্যেক নখবিশিষ্ট জন্তু হারাম করেছিলাম এবং ছাগল ও গরু থেকে এতদুভয়ের চর্বি আমি তাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছিলাম, কিন্তু ঐ চর্বি, যা পৃষ্টে কিংবা অন্ত্রে সংযুক্ত থাকে অথবা অস্থির সাথে মিলিত থাকে। তাদের অবাধ্যতার কারণে আমি তাদেরকে এ শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম। আর আমি অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।

[146] And unto those who are Jews, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them the fat of the ox and the sheep except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone. Thus We recompensed them for their rebellion [committing crimes like murdering the Prophets, eating of Ribâ (usury)]. And verily, We are Truthful.

[147] فَإِن كَذَّبوكَ فَقُل رَبُّكُم ذو رَحمَةٍ وٰسِعَةٍ وَلا يُرَدُّ بَأسُهُ عَنِ القَومِ المُجرِمينَ

[147] যদি তারা আপনাকে মিথ্যবাদী বলে, তবে বলে দিনঃ তোমার প্রতিপালক সুপ্রশস্ত করুণার মালিক। তাঁর শাস্তি অপরাধীদের উপর থেকে টলবে না।

[147] If they (Jews) belie you (Muhammad SAW) say: “Your Lord is the Owner of Vast Mercy, and never will His Wrath be turned back from the people who are Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, or sinners).”

[148] سَيَقولُ الَّذينَ أَشرَكوا لَو شاءَ اللَّهُ ما أَشرَكنا وَلا ءاباؤُنا وَلا حَرَّمنا مِن شَيءٍ ۚ كَذٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم حَتّىٰ ذاقوا بَأسَنا ۗ قُل هَل عِندَكُم مِن عِلمٍ فَتُخرِجوهُ لَنا ۖ إِن تَتَّبِعونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِن أَنتُم إِلّا تَخرُصونَ

[148] এখন মুশরিকরা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে না আমরা শিরক করতাম, না আমাদের বাপ দাদারা এবং না আমরা কোন বস্তুকে হারাম করতাম। এমনিভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছে, এমন কি তারা আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে। আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন প্রমাণ আছে যা আমাদেরকে দেখাতে পার। তোমরা শুধুমাত্র আন্দাজের অনুসরণ কর এবং তোমরা শুধু অনুমান করে কথা বল।

[148] Those who took partners (in worship) with Allâh will say: “If Allâh had willed, we would not have taken partners (in worship) with Him, nor would our fathers, and we would not have forbidden anything (against His Will).” Likewise belied those who were before them, (they argued falsely with Allâh’s Messengers), till they tasted Our Wrath.

Say: “Have you any knowledge (proof) that you can produce before us? Verily, you follow nothing but guess and you do nothing but lie.”

[149] قُل فَلِلَّهِ الحُجَّةُ البٰلِغَةُ ۖ فَلَو شاءَ لَهَدىٰكُم أَجمَعينَ

[149] আপনি বলে দিনঃ অতএব, পরিপূর্ন যুক্তি আল্লাহরই। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে পথ প্রদর্শন করতেন।

[149] Say: “With Allâh is the perfect proof and argument, (i.e. the Oneness of Allâh, the sending of His Messengers and His Holy Books to mankind), had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all.”

[150] قُل هَلُمَّ شُهَداءَكُمُ الَّذينَ يَشهَدونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هٰذا ۖ فَإِن شَهِدوا فَلا تَشهَد مَعَهُم ۚ وَلا تَتَّبِع أَهواءَ الَّذينَ كَذَّبوا بِـٔايٰتِنا وَالَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِم يَعدِلونَ

[150] আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের সাক্ষীদেরকে আন, যারা সাক্ষ্য দেয় যে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা এগুলো হারাম করেছেন। যদি তারা সাক্ষ্য দেয়, তবে আপনি এ সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ করবেন না এবং তাদের কুপ্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না, যারা আমার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে, যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং যারা স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের সমতুল্য অংশীদার করে।

[150] Say: “Bring forward your witnesses, who can testify that Allâh has forbidden this. Then if they testify, testify not you (O Muhammad SAW) with them. And you should not follow the vain desires of such as treat Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter, and they hold others as equal (in worship) with their Lord.”

[151] ۞ قُل تَعالَوا أَتلُ ما حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُم عَلَيكُم ۖ أَلّا تُشرِكوا بِهِ شَيـًٔا ۖ وَبِالوٰلِدَينِ إِحسٰنًا ۖ وَلا تَقتُلوا أَولٰدَكُم مِن إِملٰقٍ ۖ نَحنُ نَرزُقُكُم وَإِيّاهُم ۖ وَلا تَقرَبُوا الفَوٰحِشَ ما ظَهَرَ مِنها وَما بَطَنَ ۖ وَلا تَقتُلُوا النَّفسَ الَّتى حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلّا بِالحَقِّ ۚ ذٰلِكُم وَصّىٰكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُم تَعقِلونَ

[151] আপনি বলুনঃ এস, আমি তোমাদেরকে ঐসব বিষয় পাঠ করে শুনাই, যেগুলো তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন। তাএই যে, আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে অংশীদার করো না, পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদয় ব্যবহার করো স্বীয় সন্তানদেরকে দারিদ্রেøর কারণে হত্যা করো না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ও তাদেরকে আহার দেই, নির্লজ্জতার কাছেও যেয়ো না, প্রকাশ্য হোক কিংবা অপ্রকাশ্য, যাকে হত্যা করা আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন, তাকে হত্যা করো না; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা বুঝ।

[151] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty – We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawâhish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse,) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allâh has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islâmic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.
