[21] وَجاءَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ مَعَها سائِقٌ وَشَهيدٌ
[21] প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি আগমন করবে। তার সাথে থাকবে চালক ও কর্মের সাক্ষী।
[21] And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness.

[22] لَقَد كُنتَ فى غَفلَةٍ مِن هٰذا فَكَشَفنا عَنكَ غِطاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ اليَومَ حَديدٌ
[22] তুমি তো এই দিন সম্পর্কে উদাসীন ছিলে। এখন তোমার কাছ থেকে যবনিকা সরিয়ে দিয়েছি। ফলে আজ তোমার দৃষ্টি সুতীক্ষ্ন।
[22] (It will be said to the sinners): “Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!”

[23] وَقالَ قَرينُهُ هٰذا ما لَدَىَّ عَتيدٌ
[23] তার সঙ্গী ফেরেশতা বলবেঃ আমার কাছে যে, আমলনামা ছিল, তা এই।
[23] And his companion (angel) will say: “Here is (this Record) ready with me!”

[24] أَلقِيا فى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفّارٍ عَنيدٍ
[24] তোমরা উভয়েই নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে প্রত্যেক অকৃতজ্ঞ বিরুদ্ধবাদীকে,
[24] (Allah will say to the angels): “Both of you throw into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allâh, in His Messengers) —

[25] مَنّاعٍ لِلخَيرِ مُعتَدٍ مُريبٍ
[25] যে বাধা দিত মঙ্গলজনক কাজে, সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী, সন্দেহ পোষণকারীকে।
[25] “Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter,

[26] الَّذى جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلٰهًا ءاخَرَ فَأَلقِياهُ فِى العَذابِ الشَّديدِ
[26] যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্য গ্রহণ করত, তাকে তোমরা কঠিন শাস্তিতে নিক্ষেপ কর।
[26] “Who set up another ilâh (god) with Allâh, Then both of you cast him in the severe torment.”

[27] ۞ قالَ قَرينُهُ رَبَّنا ما أَطغَيتُهُ وَلٰكِن كانَ فى ضَلٰلٍ بَعيدٍ
[27] তার সঙ্গী শয়তান বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমি তাকে অবাধ্যতায় লিপ্ত করিনি। বস্তুতঃ সে নিজেই ছিল সুদূর পথভ্রান্তিতে লিপ্ত।
[27] His companion (Satan — devil)] will say: “Our Lord! I did not push him to transgression, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray.”

[28] قالَ لا تَختَصِموا لَدَىَّ وَقَد قَدَّمتُ إِلَيكُم بِالوَعيدِ
[28] আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ আমার সামনে বাকবিতন্ডা করো না আমি তো পূর্বেই তোমাদেরকে আযাব দ্বারা ভয় প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম।
[28] Allâh will say: “Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat.

[29] ما يُبَدَّلُ القَولُ لَدَىَّ وَما أَنا۠ بِظَلّٰمٍ لِلعَبيدِ
[29] আমার কাছে কথা রদবদল হয় না এবং আমি বান্দাদের প্রতি জুলুমকারী নই।
[29] The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust to the slaves.”

[30] يَومَ نَقولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امتَلَأتِ وَتَقولُ هَل مِن مَزيدٍ
[30] যেদিন আমি জাহান্নামকে জিজ্ঞাসা করব; তুমি কি পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছ? সে বলবেঃ আরও আছে কি?
[30] On the Day when We will say to Hell: “Are you filled?” It will say: “Are there any more (to come)?”

[31] وَأُزلِفَتِ الجَنَّةُ لِلمُتَّقينَ غَيرَ بَعيدٍ
[31] জান্নাতকে উপস্থিত করা হবে খোদাভীরুদের অদূরে।
[31] And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqûn (pious – see V.2:2) not far off.

[32] هٰذا ما توعَدونَ لِكُلِّ أَوّابٍ حَفيظٍ
[32] তোমাদের প্রত্যেক অনুরাগী ও স্মরণকারীকে এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছিল।
[32] (It will be said): “This is what you were promised, – (it is) for those oft-returning (to Allâh) in sincere repentance, and those who preserve their covenant with Allâh (by obeying Him in all what He has ordered, and worshipping none but Allâh Alone, i.e. follow Allâh’s religion, Islâmic Monotheism).

[33] مَن خَشِىَ الرَّحمٰنَ بِالغَيبِ وَجاءَ بِقَلبٍ مُنيبٍ
[33] যে না দেখে দয়াময় আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় করত এবং বিনীত অন্তরে উপস্থিত হত।
[33] “Who feared the Most Gracious (Allâh) in the Ghaib (unseen) and brought a heart turned in repentance (to Him – and absolutely free from each and every kind of polytheism).

[34] ادخُلوها بِسَلٰمٍ ۖ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الخُلودِ
[34] তোমরা এতে শান্তিতে প্রবেশ কর। এটাই অনন্তকাল বসবাসের জন্য প্রবেশ করার দিন।
[34] “Enter you therein in peace and security — this is a Day of eternal life!”

[35] لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ فيها وَلَدَينا مَزيدٌ
[35] তারা তথায় যা চাইবে, তাই পাবে এবং আমার কাছে রয়েছে আরও অধিক।
[35] There they will have all that they desire — and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic swt )

[36] وَكَم أَهلَكنا قَبلَهُم مِن قَرنٍ هُم أَشَدُّ مِنهُم بَطشًا فَنَقَّبوا فِى البِلٰدِ هَل مِن مَحيصٍ
[36] আমি তাদের পূর্বে বহু সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি, তারা এদের অপেক্ষা অধিক শক্তিশালী ছিল এবং দেশে-বিদেশে বিচরণ করে ফিরত। তাদের কোন পলায়ন স্থান ছিল না।
[36] And how many a generation We have destroyed before them, who were stronger in power than they, and (when Our Torment came) they ran for a refuge in the land! Could they find any place of refuge (for them to save themselves from destruction)?

[37] إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَذِكرىٰ لِمَن كانَ لَهُ قَلبٌ أَو أَلقَى السَّمعَ وَهُوَ شَهيدٌ
[37] এতে উপদেশ রয়েছে তার জন্যে, যার অনুধাবন করার মত অন্তর রয়েছে। অথবা সে নিবিষ্ট মনে শ্রবণ করে।
[37] Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful.

[38] وَلَقَد خَلَقنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما فى سِتَّةِ أَيّامٍ وَما مَسَّنا مِن لُغوبٍ
[38] আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ছয়দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং আমাকে কোনরূপ ক্লান্তি স্পর্শ করেনি।
[38] And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.

[39] فَاصبِر عَلىٰ ما يَقولونَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ قَبلَ طُلوعِ الشَّمسِ وَقَبلَ الغُروبِ
[39] অতএব, তারা যা কিছু বলে, তজ্জন্যে আপনি ছবর করুন এবং, সূর্যোদয় ও সূর্যাস্তের পূর্বে আপনার পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
[39] So bear with patience (O Muhammad SAW) all that they say, and glorify the Praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting (i.e. the Fajr, Zuhr, and ‘Asr prayers).

[40] وَمِنَ الَّيلِ فَسَبِّحهُ وَأَدبٰرَ السُّجودِ
[40] রাত্রির কিছু অংশে তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন এবং নামাযের পশ্চাতেও।
[40] And during a part of the night (also), glorify His praises (i.e. Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers), and (so likewise) after the prayers [As-Sunnah, Nawâfil — optional and additional prayers, And also glorify, praise and magnify Allâh – Subhân Allâh, Alhamdu lillâh, Allâhu-Akbar].
