[41] إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِالذِّكرِ لَمّا جاءَهُم ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتٰبٌ عَزيزٌ
[41] নিশ্চয় যারা কোরআন আসার পর তা অস্বীকার করে, তাদের মধ্যে চিন্তা-ভাবনার অভাব রয়েছে। এটা অবশ্যই এক সম্মানিত গ্রন্থ।
[41] Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e. the Qur’ân) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable well-fortified respected Book (because it is Allâh’s Speech, and He has protected it from corruption). (See v.15:9)

[42] لا يَأتيهِ البٰطِلُ مِن بَينِ يَدَيهِ وَلا مِن خَلفِهِ ۖ تَنزيلٌ مِن حَكيمٍ حَميدٍ
[42] এতে মিথ্যার প্রভাব নেই, সামনের দিক থেকেও নেই এবং পেছন দিক থেকেও নেই। এটা প্রজ্ঞাময়, প্রশংসিত আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
[42] Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allâh swt).

[43] ما يُقالُ لَكَ إِلّا ما قَد قيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذو مَغفِرَةٍ وَذو عِقابٍ أَليمٍ
[43] আপনাকে তো তাই বলা হয়, যা বলা হত পূর্ববর্তী রসূলগনকে। নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে ক্ষমা এবং রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[43] Nothing is said to you (O Muhammad SAW) except what was said to the Messengers before you. Verily, your Lord is the Possessor of forgiveness, and (also) the Possessor of painful punishment.

[44] وَلَو جَعَلنٰهُ قُرءانًا أَعجَمِيًّا لَقالوا لَولا فُصِّلَت ءايٰتُهُ ۖ ءَأَعجَمِىٌّ وَعَرَبِىٌّ ۗ قُل هُوَ لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا هُدًى وَشِفاءٌ ۖ وَالَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ فى ءاذانِهِم وَقرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيهِم عَمًى ۚ أُولٰئِكَ يُنادَونَ مِن مَكانٍ بَعيدٍ
[44] আমি যদি একে অনারব ভাষায় কোরআন করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, এর আয়াতসমূহ পরিস্কার ভাষায় বিবৃত হয়নি কেন? কি আশ্চর্য যে, কিতাব অনারব ভাষায় আর রসূল আরবী ভাষী! বলুন, এটা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য হেদায়েত ও রোগের প্রতিকার। যারা মুমিন নয়, তাদের কানে আছে ছিপি, আর কোরআন তাদের জন্যে অন্ধত্ব। তাদেরকে যেন দূরবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করা হয়।
[44] And if We had sent this as a Qur’ân in a foreign language (other than Arabic), they would have said: “Why are not its Verses explained in detail (in our language)? What! (A Book) not in Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?” Say: “It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) in their ears, and it (the Qur’ân) is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand).

[45] وَلَقَد ءاتَينا موسَى الكِتٰبَ فَاختُلِفَ فيهِ ۗ وَلَولا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَت مِن رَبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم ۚ وَإِنَّهُم لَفى شَكٍّ مِنهُ مُريبٍ
[45] আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর তাতে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি হয়। আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে পূর্ব সিদ্ধান্ত না থাকলে তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। তারা কোরআন সমন্ধে এক অস্বস্তিকর সন্দেহে লিপ্ত।
[45] And indeed We gave Mûsa (Moses) the Scripture, but dispute arose therein. And had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord, (the torment would have overtaken them) and the matter would have been settled between them. But truly, they are in grave doubt thereto (i.e. about the Qur’ân). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)

[46] مَن عَمِلَ صٰلِحًا فَلِنَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن أَساءَ فَعَلَيها ۗ وَما رَبُّكَ بِظَلّٰمٍ لِلعَبيدِ
[46] যে সৎকর্ম করে, সে নিজের উপকারের জন্যেই করে, আর যে অসৎকর্ম করে, তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। আপনার পালনকর্তা বান্দাদের প্রতি মোটেই যুলুম করেন না।
[46] Whosoever does righteous good deed it is for (the benefit of) his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against his ownself, and your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves.

[47] ۞ إِلَيهِ يُرَدُّ عِلمُ السّاعَةِ ۚ وَما تَخرُجُ مِن ثَمَرٰتٍ مِن أَكمامِها وَما تَحمِلُ مِن أُنثىٰ وَلا تَضَعُ إِلّا بِعِلمِهِ ۚ وَيَومَ يُناديهِم أَينَ شُرَكاءى قالوا ءاذَنّٰكَ ما مِنّا مِن شَهيدٍ
[47] কেয়ামতের জ্ঞান একমাত্র তাঁরই জানা। তাঁর জ্ঞানের বাইরে কোন ফল আবরণমুক্ত হয় না। এবং কোন নারী গর্ভধারণ ও সন্তান প্রসব করে না। যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ডেকে বলবেন, আমার শরীকরা কোথায়? সেদিন তারা বলবে, আমরা আপনাকে বলে দিয়েছি যে, আমাদের কেউ এটা স্বীকার করে না।
[47] To Him (Alone) is referred the knowledge of the Hour. No fruit comes out of its sheath, nor does a female conceive, nor brings forth (young), except by His Knowledge. And on the Day when He will call unto them (polytheists) (saying): “Where are My (so-called) partners (whom you did invent)?” They will say: “We inform You that none of us bears witness to it (that they are Your partners)!”

[48] وَضَلَّ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَدعونَ مِن قَبلُ ۖ وَظَنّوا ما لَهُم مِن مَحيصٍ
[48] পূর্বে তারা যাদের পূজা করত, তারা উধাও হয়ে যাবে এবং তারা বুঝে নেবে যে, তাদের কোন নিস্কৃতি নেই।
[48] And those whom they used to invoke before before (in this world) shall disappear from them, and they will perceive that they have no place of refuge (from Allâh’s punishment).

[49] لا يَسـَٔمُ الإِنسٰنُ مِن دُعاءِ الخَيرِ وَإِن مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَـٔوسٌ قَنوطٌ
[49] মানুষ উন্নতি কামনায় ক্লান্ত হয় না; যদি তাকে অমঙ্গল স্পর্শ করে, তবে সে সম্পূর্ণ রূপে নিরাশ হয়ে পড়ে।
[49] Man (the disbeliever) does not get tired of asking good (things from Allâh), but if an evil touches him, then he gives up all hope and is lost in despair.

[50] وَلَئِن أَذَقنٰهُ رَحمَةً مِنّا مِن بَعدِ ضَرّاءَ مَسَّتهُ لَيَقولَنَّ هٰذا لى وَما أَظُنُّ السّاعَةَ قائِمَةً وَلَئِن رُجِعتُ إِلىٰ رَبّى إِنَّ لى عِندَهُ لَلحُسنىٰ ۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِما عَمِلوا وَلَنُذيقَنَّهُم مِن عَذابٍ غَليظٍ
[50] বিপদাপদ স্পর্শ করার পর আমি যদি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে বলতে থাকে, এটা যে আমার যোগ্য প্রাপ্য; আমি মনে করি না যে, কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে। আমি যদি আমার পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাই, তবে অবশ্যই তার কাছে আমার জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। অতএব, আমি কাফেরদেরকে তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই অবহিত করব এবং তাদেরকে অবশ্যই আস্বাদন করাব কঠিন শাস্তি।
[50] And truly, if We give him a taste of mercy from Us, after some adversity (severe poverty or disease, etc.) has touched him, he is sure to say: “This is due to me (merit), I think not that the Hour will be established. But if I am brought back to my Lord, surely, there will be for me the best (wealth) with Him. Then, We verily, will show to the disbelievers what they have done and We shall make them taste a severe torment.

[51] وَإِذا أَنعَمنا عَلَى الإِنسٰنِ أَعرَضَ وَنَـٔا بِجانِبِهِ وَإِذا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذو دُعاءٍ عَريضٍ
[51] আমি যখন মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করি তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং পার্শ্ব পরিবর্তন করে। আর যখন তাকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সুদীর্ঘ দোয়া করতে থাকে।
[51] And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away; but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.

[52] قُل أَرَءَيتُم إِن كانَ مِن عِندِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرتُم بِهِ مَن أَضَلُّ مِمَّن هُوَ فى شِقاقٍ بَعيدٍ
[52] বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে হয়, অতঃপর তোমরা একে অমান্য কর, তবে যে ব্যক্তি ঘোর বিরোধিতায় লিপ্ত, তার চাইতে অধিক পথভ্রষ্ট আর কে?
[52] Say: “Tell me, if it (the Qur’ân) is from Allâh, and you disbelieve in it, who is more astray than one who is in opposition far away (from Allâh’s Right Path and His obedience).

[53] سَنُريهِم ءايٰتِنا فِى الءافاقِ وَفى أَنفُسِهِم حَتّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُم أَنَّهُ الحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَم يَكفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ شَهيدٌ
[53] এখন আমি তাদেরকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী প্রদর্শন করাব পৃথিবীর দিগন্তে এবং তাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে; ফলে তাদের কাছে ফুটে উঠবে যে, এ কোরআন সত্য। আপনার পালনকর্তা সর্ববিষয়ে সাক্ষ্যদাতা, এটা কি যথেষ্ট নয়?
[53] We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur’ân) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things?

[54] أَلا إِنَّهُم فى مِريَةٍ مِن لِقاءِ رَبِّهِم ۗ أَلا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ مُحيطٌ
[54] শুনে রাখ, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে সন্দেহে পতিত রয়েছে। শুনে রাখ, তিনি সবকিছুকে পরিবেষ্টন করে রয়েছেন।
[54] Verily, they are in doubt concerning the Meeting with their Lord? (i.e. Resurrection after their death, and their return to their Lord). Verily! He it is Who is surrounding all things!
