[41] إِنّا أَنزَلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ لِلنّاسِ بِالحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ اهتَدىٰ فَلِنَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّما يَضِلُّ عَلَيها ۖ وَما أَنتَ عَلَيهِم بِوَكيلٍ
[41] আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
[41] Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur’ân) for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad SAW) are not a Wakîl (trustee or disposer of affairs, or guardian) over them.

[42] اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الأَنفُسَ حينَ مَوتِها وَالَّتى لَم تَمُت فى مَنامِها ۖ فَيُمسِكُ الَّتى قَضىٰ عَلَيهَا المَوتَ وَيُرسِلُ الأُخرىٰ إِلىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ
[42] আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রাণ হরণ করেন তার মৃত্যুর সময়, আর যে মরে না, তার নিদ্রাকালে। অতঃপর যার মৃত্যু অবধারিত করেন, তার প্রাণ ছাড়েন না এবং অন্যান্যদের ছেড়ে দেন এক নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যে। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[42] It is Allâh Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.

[43] أَمِ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ شُفَعاءَ ۚ قُل أَوَلَو كانوا لا يَملِكونَ شَيـًٔا وَلا يَعقِلونَ
[43] তারা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত সুপারিশকারী গ্রহণ করেছে? বলুন, তাদের কোন এখতিয়ার না থাকলেও এবং তারা না বুঝলেও?
[43] Have they taken (others) as intercessors besides Allâh? Say: “Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?”

[44] قُل لِلَّهِ الشَّفٰعَةُ جَميعًا ۖ لَهُ مُلكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[44] বলুন, সমস্ত সুপারিশ আল্লাহরই ক্ষমতাধীন, আসমান ও যমীনে তাঁরই সাম্রাজ্য। অতঃপর তাঁরই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[44] Say: “To Allâh belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, Then to Him you shall be brought back.”

[45] وَإِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحدَهُ اشمَأَزَّت قُلوبُ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ ۖ وَإِذا ذُكِرَ الَّذينَ مِن دونِهِ إِذا هُم يَستَبشِرونَ
[45] যখন খাঁটিভাবে আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না, তাদের অন্তর সংকুচিত হয়ে যায়, আর যখন আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্যদের নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন তারা আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়ে উঠে।
[45] And when Allâh Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allâh (<><>) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allâh, it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!

[46] قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ فاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ عٰلِمَ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحكُمُ بَينَ عِبادِكَ فى ما كانوا فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ
[46] বলুন, হে আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমীনের স্রষ্টা, দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী, আপনিই আপনার বান্দাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মত বিরোধ করত।
[46] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O Allâh! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib (unseen) and the seen. You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ.”

[47] وَلَو أَنَّ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا ما فِى الأَرضِ جَميعًا وَمِثلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافتَدَوا بِهِ مِن سوءِ العَذابِ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ وَبَدا لَهُم مِنَ اللَّهِ ما لَم يَكونوا يَحتَسِبونَ
[47] যদি গোনাহগারদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা কেয়ামতের দিন সে সবকিছুই নিস্কৃতি পাওয়ার জন্যে মুক্তিপন হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে। অথচ তারা দেখতে পাবে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমন শাস্তি, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
[47] And those who did wrong (the polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh), if they had all that is in earth and therewith as much again, they verily, would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment, and there will become apparent to them from Allâh, what they had not been reckoning

[48] وَبَدا لَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَحاقَ بِهِم ما كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[48] আর দেখবে, তাদের দুস্কর্মসমূহ এবং যে বিষয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করত, তা তাদেরকে ঘিরে নেবে।
[48] And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock at will encircled them.

[49] فَإِذا مَسَّ الإِنسٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعانا ثُمَّ إِذا خَوَّلنٰهُ نِعمَةً مِنّا قالَ إِنَّما أوتيتُهُ عَلىٰ عِلمٍ ۚ بَل هِىَ فِتنَةٌ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[49] মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে আমাকে ডাকতে শুরু করে, এরপর আমি যখন তাকে আমার পক্ষ থেকে নেয়ামত দান করি, তখন সে বলে, এটা তো আমি পূর্বের জানা মতেই প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। অথচ এটা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
[49] When harm touches man, he calls to Us (for help), then when We have (rescued him from that harm and) changed it into a favour from Us, he says: “Only because of knowledge (that I possess) I obtained it.” Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not!

[50] قَد قالَهَا الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَما أَغنىٰ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَكسِبونَ
[50] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তাই বলত, অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন উপকারে আসেনি।
[50] Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.

[51] فَأَصابَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا ۚ وَالَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِن هٰؤُلاءِ سَيُصيبُهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَما هُم بِمُعجِزينَ
[51] তাদের দুস্কর্ম তাদেরকে বিপদে ফেলেছে, এদের মধ্যেও যারা পাপী, তাদেরকেও অতি সত্ত্বর তাদের দুস্কর্ম বিপদে ফেলবে। তারা তা প্রতিহত করতে সক্ষম হবে না।
[51] So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these [people to whom you (Muhammad SAW) have been sent], will also be overtaken by the evil results (torment) for that which they earned, and they will never be able to escape.

[52] أَوَلَم يَعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
[52] তারা কি জানেনি যে, আল্লাহ যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং পরিমিত দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[52] Do they not know that Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for the folk who believe!

[53] ۞ قُل يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ أَسرَفوا عَلىٰ أَنفُسِهِم لا تَقنَطوا مِن رَحمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغفِرُ الذُّنوبَ جَميعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ
[53] বলুন, হে আমার বান্দাগণ যারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছ তোমরা আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সমস্ত গোনাহ মাফ করেন। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
[53] Say: “O ‘Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

[54] وَأَنيبوا إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم وَأَسلِموا لَهُ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ ثُمَّ لا تُنصَرونَ
[54] তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার অভিমূখী হও এবং তাঁর আজ্ঞাবহ হও তোমাদের কাছে আযাব আসার পূর্বে। এরপর তোমরা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না;
[54] “And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islâm), before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.

[55] وَاتَّبِعوا أَحسَنَ ما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم مِن رَبِّكُم مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ بَغتَةً وَأَنتُم لا تَشعُرونَ
[55] তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ উত্তম বিষয়ের অনুসরণ কর তোমাদের কাছে অতর্কিতে ও অজ্ঞাতসারে আযাব আসার পূর্বে,
[55] “And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur’ân, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!”

[56] أَن تَقولَ نَفسٌ يٰحَسرَتىٰ عَلىٰ ما فَرَّطتُ فى جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السّٰخِرينَ
[56] যাতে কেউ না বলে, হায়, হায়, আল্লাহ সকাশে আমি কর্তব্যে অবহেলা করেছি এবং আমি ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলাম।
[56] Lest a person should say: “Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allâh (i.e. I have not done what Allâh has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), the Qur’ân, and Muhammad SAW and at the faithful believers]

[57] أَو تَقولَ لَو أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدىٰنى لَكُنتُ مِنَ المُتَّقينَ
[57] অথবা না বলে, আল্লাহ যদি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি পরহেযগারদের একজন হতাম।
[57] Or (lest) he should say: “If only Allâh had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons – see V.2:2).”

[58] أَو تَقولَ حينَ تَرَى العَذابَ لَو أَنَّ لى كَرَّةً فَأَكونَ مِنَ المُحسِنينَ
[58] অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
[58] Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: “If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinûn (good-doers – see V.2:112).”

[59] بَلىٰ قَد جاءَتكَ ءايٰتى فَكَذَّبتَ بِها وَاستَكبَرتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ
[59] হাঁ, তোমার কাছে আমার নির্দেশ এসেছিল; অতঃপর তুমি তাকে মিথ্যা বলেছিলে, অহংকার করেছিলে এবং কাফেরদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে গিয়েছিলে।
[59] Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.

[60] وَيَومَ القِيٰمَةِ تَرَى الَّذينَ كَذَبوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجوهُهُم مُسوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلمُتَكَبِّرينَ
[60] যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, কেয়ামতের দিন আপনি তাদের মুখ কাল দেখবেন। অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
[60] And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allâh (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) — their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?
