[41] قالوا سُبحٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنا مِن دونِهِم ۖ بَل كانوا يَعبُدونَ الجِنَّ ۖ أَكثَرُهُم بِهِم مُؤمِنونَ
[41] ফেরেশতারা বলবে, আপনি পবিত্র, আমরা আপনার পক্ষে, তাদের পক্ষে নই, বরং তারা জিনদের পূজা করত। তাদের অধিকাংশই শয়তানে বিশ্বাসী।
[41] They (the angels) will say: “Glorified are You! You are our Walî (Lord) instead of them. Nay, but they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them.”

[42] فَاليَومَ لا يَملِكُ بَعضُكُم لِبَعضٍ نَفعًا وَلا ضَرًّا وَنَقولُ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا ذوقوا عَذابَ النّارِ الَّتى كُنتُم بِها تُكَذِّبونَ
[42] অতএব আজকের দিনে তোমরা একে অপরের কোন উপকার ও অপকার করার অধিকারী হবে না আর আমি জালেমদেরকে বলব, তোমরা আগুনের যে শাস্তিকে মিথ্যা বলতে তা আস্বাদন কর।
[42] So Today (i.e. the Day of Resurrection), none of you can profit or harm one another. And We shall say to those who did wrong [i.e. worshipped others (like angels, jinn, prophets, saints, righteous persons) along with Allâh]: “Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to belie.

[43] وَإِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم ءايٰتُنا بَيِّنٰتٍ قالوا ما هٰذا إِلّا رَجُلٌ يُريدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُم عَمّا كانَ يَعبُدُ ءاباؤُكُم وَقالوا ما هٰذا إِلّا إِفكٌ مُفتَرًى ۚ وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لِلحَقِّ لَمّا جاءَهُم إِن هٰذا إِلّا سِحرٌ مُبينٌ
[43] যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
[43] And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, they say: “This (Muhammad SAW) is naught but a man who wishes to hinder you from that which your fathers used to worship.” And they say: “This (the Quran) is nothing but an invented lie.” And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them (i.e. Prophet Muhammad SAW when Allâh sent him as a Messenger with proofs, evidences, verses of this Quran, lessons, signs, etc.): “This is nothing but evident magic!”

[44] وَما ءاتَينٰهُم مِن كُتُبٍ يَدرُسونَها ۖ وَما أَرسَلنا إِلَيهِم قَبلَكَ مِن نَذيرٍ
[44] আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দেইনি, যা তারা অধ্যয়ন করবে এবং আপনার পূর্বে তাদের কাছে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করিনি।
[44] And We had not given them Scriptures which they could study, nor sent to them before you (O Muhammad SAW) any warner (Messenger)

[45] وَكَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم وَما بَلَغوا مِعشارَ ما ءاتَينٰهُم فَكَذَّبوا رُسُلى ۖ فَكَيفَ كانَ نَكيرِ
[45] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যা আরোপ করেছে। আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, এরা তার এক দশমাংশও পায়নি। এরপরও তারা আমার রাসূলগনকে মিথ্যা বলেছে। অতএব কেমন হয়েছে আমার শাস্তি।
[45] And those before them belied; these have not received even a tenth of what We had granted to those (of old); yet they belied My Messengers, Then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!

[46] ۞ قُل إِنَّما أَعِظُكُم بِوٰحِدَةٍ ۖ أَن تَقوموا لِلَّهِ مَثنىٰ وَفُرٰدىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّروا ۚ ما بِصاحِبِكُم مِن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِن هُوَ إِلّا نَذيرٌ لَكُم بَينَ يَدَى عَذابٍ شَديدٍ
[46] বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি বিষয়ে উপদেশ দিচ্ছিঃ তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে এক একজন করে ও দু, দু জন করে দাঁড়াও, অতঃপর চিন্তা-ভাবনা কর-তোমাদের সঙ্গীর মধ্যে কোন উম্মাদনা নেই। তিনি তো আসন্ন কাঠোর শাস্তি সম্পর্কে তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন মাত্র।
[46] Say (to them O Muhammad SAW): “I exhort you to one (thing) only: that you stand up for Allâh’s sake in pairs and singly, and reflect (within yourselves the life history of the Prophet (SAW): there is no madness in your companion (Muhammad SAW), He is only a warner to you in face of a severe torment.”

[47] বলুন, আমি তোমাদের কাছে কোন পারিশ্রমিক চাই না বরং তা তোমরাই রাখ। আমার পুরস্কার তো আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে। প্রত্যেক বস্তুই তাঁর সামনে।
[47] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Whatever wage I might have asked of you is yours. My wage is from Allâh only. and He is a Witness over all things.”

[48] قُل إِنَّ رَبّى يَقذِفُ بِالحَقِّ عَلّٰمُ الغُيوبِ
[48] বলুন, আমার পালনকর্তা সত্য দ্বীন অবতরণ করেছেন। তিনি আলেমুল গায়ব।
[48] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Verily! my Lord sends down (Revelation and makes apparent) the truth (i.e. this Revelation that had come to me), the All¬Knower of the Ghaib (unseen).

[49] قُل جاءَ الحَقُّ وَما يُبدِئُ البٰطِلُ وَما يُعيدُ
[49] বলুন, সত্য আগমন করেছে এবং অসত্য না পারে নতুন কিছু সৃজন করতে এবং না পারে পূনঃ প্রত্যাবর্তিত হতে।
[49] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Al-Haqq (the truth the Qur’ân and Allâh’s Revealation) has come, and Al¬Bâtil [falsehood – Iblîs (Satan)] can neither create anything nor resurrect (anything).”

[50] قُل إِن ضَلَلتُ فَإِنَّما أَضِلُّ عَلىٰ نَفسى ۖ وَإِنِ اهتَدَيتُ فَبِما يوحى إِلَىَّ رَبّى ۚ إِنَّهُ سَميعٌ قَريبٌ
[50] বলুন, আমি পথভ্রষ্ট হলে নিজের ক্ষতির জন্যেই পথভ্রষ্ট হব; আর যদি আমি সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হই, তবে তা এ জন্যে যে, আমার পালনকর্তা আমার প্রতি ওহী প্রেরণ করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, নিকটবর্তী।
[50] Say: “If (even) I go astray, I shall stray only to my own loss. But if I remain guided, it is because of the Revealation of my Lord to me. Truly, He is All¬Hearer, Ever Near (to all things).”

[51] وَلَو تَرىٰ إِذ فَزِعوا فَلا فَوتَ وَأُخِذوا مِن مَكانٍ قَريبٍ
[51] যদি আপনি দেখতেন, যখন তারা ভীতসস্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়বে, অতঃপর পালিয়েও বাঁচতে পারবে না এবং নিকটবর্তী স্থান থেকে ধরা পড়বে।
[51] And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a near place.

[52] وَقالوا ءامَنّا بِهِ وَأَنّىٰ لَهُمُ التَّناوُشُ مِن مَكانٍ بَعيدٍ
[52] তারা বলবে, আমরা সত্যে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। কিন্তু তারা এতদূর থেকে তার নাগাল পাবে কেমন করে?
[52] And they will say (in the Hereafter): “We do believe (now);” but how could they receive (Faith and the acceptance of their repentance by Allâh) from a place so far off (i.e. to return to the worldly life again).

[53] وَقَد كَفَروا بِهِ مِن قَبلُ ۖ وَيَقذِفونَ بِالغَيبِ مِن مَكانٍ بَعيدٍ
[53] অথচ তারা পূর্ব থেকে সত্যকে অস্বীকার করছিল। আর তারা সত্য হতে দূরে থেকে অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ের উপর মন্তব্য করত।
[53] Indeed they did disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh, Islâm, the Qur’ân and Muhammad SAW) before (in this world), and they (used to) conjecture about the unseen [i.e. the Hereafter, Hell, Paradise, Resurrection and the Promise of Allâh (by saying) all that is untrue], from a far place.

[54] وَحيلَ بَينَهُم وَبَينَ ما يَشتَهونَ كَما فُعِلَ بِأَشياعِهِم مِن قَبلُ ۚ إِنَّهُم كانوا فى شَكٍّ مُريبٍ
[54] তাদের ও তাদের বাসনার মধ্যে অন্তরাল হয়ে গেছে, যেমন-তাদের সতীর্থদের সাথেও এরূপ করা হয়েছে, যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল। তারা ছিল বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহে পতিত।
[54] And a barrier will be set between them and that which they desire [i.e. At-Taubah (turning to Allâh in repentance) and the accepting of Faith], as was done in the past with the people of their kind. Verily, they have been in grave doubt.
