[41] مَثَلُ الَّذينَ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَولِياءَ كَمَثَلِ العَنكَبوتِ اتَّخَذَت بَيتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوهَنَ البُيوتِ لَبَيتُ العَنكَبوتِ ۖ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
[41] যারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অপরকে সাহায্যকারীরূপে গ্রহণ করে তাদের উদাহরণ মাকড়সা। সে ঘর বানায়। আর সব ঘরের মধ্যে মাকড়সার ঘরই তো অধিক দুর্বল, যদি তারা জানত।
[41] The likeness of those who take (false deities as) Auliyâ’ (protectors helpers) other than Allâh is the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider’s house; if they but knew.

[42] إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعلَمُ ما يَدعونَ مِن دونِهِ مِن شَيءٍ ۚ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
[42] তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যা কিছুকে ডাকে, আল্লাহ তা জানেন। তিনি শক্তিশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
[42] Verily, Allâh knows what things they invoke instead of Him. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

[43] وَتِلكَ الأَمثٰلُ نَضرِبُها لِلنّاسِ ۖ وَما يَعقِلُها إِلَّا العٰلِمونَ
[43] এ সকল উদাহরণ আমি মানুষের জন্যে দেই; কিন্তু জ্ঞানীরাই তা বোঝে।
[43] And these similitudes We put forward for mankind, but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of Allâh and His Signs).

[44] خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايَةً لِلمُؤمِنينَ
[44] আল্লাহ যথার্থরূপে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এতে নিদর্শন রয়েছে ঈমানদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে।
[44] (Allâh says to His Prophet Muhammad SAW): “Allâh (Alone) created the heavens and the earth with truth (and none shared Him in their creation).” Verily! Therein is surely a sign for those who believe.

[45] اتلُ ما أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ مِنَ الكِتٰبِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلوٰةَ تَنهىٰ عَنِ الفَحشاءِ وَالمُنكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكرُ اللَّهِ أَكبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما تَصنَعونَ
[45] আপনি আপনার প্রতি প্রত্যাদিষ্ট কিতাব পাঠ করুন এবং নামায কায়েম করুন। নিশ্চয় নামায অশ্লীল ও গর্হিত কার্য থেকে বিরত রাখে। আল্লাহর স্মরণ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ। আল্লাহ জানেন তোমরা যা কর।
[45] Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur’ân), and perform As-Salât (Iqamât¬as¬Salât). Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahshâ’ (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed) and the remembering (praising) of (you by) Allâh (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising) of Allâh in prayers. And Allâh knows what you do.

[46] ۞ وَلا تُجٰدِلوا أَهلَ الكِتٰبِ إِلّا بِالَّتى هِىَ أَحسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِنهُم ۖ وَقولوا ءامَنّا بِالَّذى أُنزِلَ إِلَينا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم وَإِلٰهُنا وَإِلٰهُكُم وٰحِدٌ وَنَحنُ لَهُ مُسلِمونَ
[46] তোমরা কিতাবধারীদের সাথে তর্ক-বিতর্ক করবে না, কিন্তু উত্তম পন্থায়; তবে তাদের সাথে নয়, যারা তাদের মধ্যে বে-ইনসাফ। এবং বল, আমাদের প্রতি ও তোমাদের প্রতি যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে, তাতে আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমাদের উপাস্য ও তোমাদের উপাস্য একই এবং আমরা তাঁরই আজ্ঞাবহ।
[46] And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islâmic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilâh (God) and your Ilâh (God) is One (i.e. Allâh), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims).”

[47] وَكَذٰلِكَ أَنزَلنا إِلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ ۚ فَالَّذينَ ءاتَينٰهُمُ الكِتٰبَ يُؤمِنونَ بِهِ ۖ وَمِن هٰؤُلاءِ مَن يُؤمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَما يَجحَدُ بِـٔايٰتِنا إِلَّا الكٰفِرونَ
[47] এভাবেই আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীণ করেছি। অতঃপর যাদের কে আমি কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, তারা একে মেনে চলে এবং এদেরও (মক্কাবাসীদেরও) কেউ কেউ এতে বিশ্বাস রাখে। কেবল কাফেররাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
[47] And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e this Qur’an) to you (O Muhammad SAW), and those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) aforetime] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like ‘Abdullâh bin Salâm) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayât [(proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc.), and deny Our Oneness of Lordship and Our Oneness of worship and Our Oneness of Our Names and Qualities: i.e. Islâmic Monotheism]

[48] وَما كُنتَ تَتلوا مِن قَبلِهِ مِن كِتٰبٍ وَلا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمينِكَ ۖ إِذًا لَارتابَ المُبطِلونَ
[48] আপনি তো এর পূর্বে কোন কিতাব পাঠ করেননি এবং স্বীয় দক্ষিণ হস্ত দ্বারা কোন কিতাব লিখেননি। এরূপ হলে মিথ্যাবাদীরা অবশ্যই সন্দেহ পোষণ করত।
[48] Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Qur’ân), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted.

[49] بَل هُوَ ءايٰتٌ بَيِّنٰتٌ فى صُدورِ الَّذينَ أوتُوا العِلمَ ۚ وَما يَجحَدُ بِـٔايٰتِنا إِلَّا الظّٰلِمونَ
[49] বরং যাদেরকে জ্ঞান দেয়া হয়েছে, তাদের অন্তরে ইহা (কোরআন) তো স্পষ্ট আয়াত। কেবল বে-ইনসাফরাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
[49] Nay, but they, the clear Ayât [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (among the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers) deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

[50] وَقالوا لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَيهِ ءايٰتٌ مِن رَبِّهِ ۖ قُل إِنَّمَا الءايٰتُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّما أَنا۠ نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ
[50] তারা বলে, তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তার প্রতি কিছু নিদর্শন অবতীর্ণ হল না কেন? বলুন, নিদর্শন তো আল্লাহর ইচ্ছাধীন। আমি তো একজন সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী মাত্র।
[50] And they say: “Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: “The signs are only with Allâh, and I am only a plain warner.”

[51] أَوَلَم يَكفِهِم أَنّا أَنزَلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ يُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَرَحمَةً وَذِكرىٰ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
[51] এটাকি তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট নয় যে, আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছি, যা তাদের কাছে পাঠ করা হয়। এতে অবশ্যই বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে রহমত ও উপদেশ আছে।
[51] Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’ân) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe.

[52] قُل كَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَينى وَبَينَكُم شَهيدًا ۖ يَعلَمُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۗ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا بِالبٰطِلِ وَكَفَروا بِاللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخٰسِرونَ
[52] বলুন, আমার মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহই সাক্ষীরূপে যথেষ্ট। তিনি জানেন যা কিছু নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূ-মন্ডলে আছে। আর যারা মিথ্যায় বিশ্বাস করে ও আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে, তারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
[52] Say (to them O Muhammad SAW): “Sufficient is Allâh for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth.” And those who believe in Bâtil (all false deities other than Allâh), and disbelieve in Allâh and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers.

[53] وَيَستَعجِلونَكَ بِالعَذابِ ۚ وَلَولا أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجاءَهُمُ العَذابُ وَلَيَأتِيَنَّهُم بَغتَةً وَهُم لا يَشعُرونَ
[53] তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে। যদি আযাবের সময় নির্ধারিত না থাকত, তবে আযাব তাদের উপর এসে যেত। নিশ্চয়ই আকস্মিকভাবে তাদের কাছে আযাব এসে যাবে, তাদের খবরও থাকবে না।
[53] And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not!

[54] يَستَعجِلونَكَ بِالعَذابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحيطَةٌ بِالكٰفِرينَ
[54] তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে; অথচ জাহান্নাম কাফেরদেরকে ঘেরাও করছে।
[54] They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers.

[55] يَومَ يَغشىٰهُمُ العَذابُ مِن فَوقِهِم وَمِن تَحتِ أَرجُلِهِم وَيَقولُ ذوقوا ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ
[55] যেদিন আযাব তাদেরকে ঘেরাও করবে মাথার উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে। আল্লাহ বললেন, তোমরা যা করতে, তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
[55] On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: “Taste what you used to do.”

[56] يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِنَّ أَرضى وٰسِعَةٌ فَإِيّٰىَ فَاعبُدونِ
[56] হে আমার ঈমানদার বান্দাগণ, আমার পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত। অতএব তোমরা আমারই এবাদত কর।
[56] O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone).”

[57] كُلُّ نَفسٍ ذائِقَةُ المَوتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَينا تُرجَعونَ
[57] জীবমাত্রই মৃত্যুর স্বাদ গ্রহণ করবে। অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[57] Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.

[58] وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِنَ الجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ نِعمَ أَجرُ العٰمِلينَ
[58] যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে জান্নাতের সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে স্থান দেব, যার তলদেশে প্রস্রবণসমূহ প্রবাহিত। সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। কত উত্তম পুরস্কার কর্মীদের।
[58] And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers.

[59] الَّذينَ صَبَروا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ
[59] যারা সবর করে এবং তাদের পালনকর্তার উপর ভরসা করে।
[59] Those who are patient, and put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allâh).

[60] وَكَأَيِّن مِن دابَّةٍ لا تَحمِلُ رِزقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرزُقُها وَإِيّاكُم ۚ وَهُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ
[60] এমন অনেক জন্তু আছে, যারা তাদের খাদ্য সঞ্চিত রাখে না। আল্লাহই রিযিক দেন তাদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকেও। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[60] And so many a moving (living) creature carries not its own provision! Allâh provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All¬Knower.
