[61] أُولٰئِكَ يُسٰرِعونَ فِى الخَيرٰتِ وَهُم لَها سٰبِقونَ
[61] তারাই কল্যাণ দ্রুত অর্জন করে এবং তারা তাতে অগ্রগামী।
[61] It is these who hasten in the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salât (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on].

[62] وَلا نُكَلِّفُ نَفسًا إِلّا وُسعَها ۖ وَلَدَينا كِتٰبٌ يَنطِقُ بِالحَقِّ ۚ وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ
[62] আমি কাউকে তার সাধ্যাতীত দায়িত্ব অর্পন করি না। আমার এক কিতাব আছে, যা সত্য ব্যক্ত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
[62] And We task not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.

[63] بَل قُلوبُهُم فى غَمرَةٍ مِن هٰذا وَلَهُم أَعمٰلٌ مِن دونِ ذٰلِكَ هُم لَها عٰمِلونَ
[63] না, তাদের অন্তর এ বিষয়ে অজ্ঞানতায় আচ্ছন্ন, এ ছাড়া তাদের আরও কাজ রয়েছে, যা তারা করছে।
[63] Nay, but their hearts are covered from (understanding) this (the Qur’ân), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing.

[64] حَتّىٰ إِذا أَخَذنا مُترَفيهِم بِالعَذابِ إِذا هُم يَجـَٔرونَ
[64] এমনকি, যখন আমি তাদের ঐশ্বর্যশালী লোকদেরকে শাস্তি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করব, তখনই তারা চীৎকার জুড়ে দেবে।
[64] Until, when We seize those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! they make humble invocation with a loud voice.

[65] لا تَجـَٔرُوا اليَومَ ۖ إِنَّكُم مِنّا لا تُنصَرونَ
[65] অদ্য চীৎকার করো না। তোমরা আমার কাছ থেকে নিস্কৃতি পাবে না।
[65] Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us.

[66] قَد كانَت ءايٰتى تُتلىٰ عَلَيكُم فَكُنتُم عَلىٰ أَعقٰبِكُم تَنكِصونَ
[66] তোমাদেরকে আমার আয়াতসমূহ শোনানো হত, তখন তোমরা উল্টো পায়ে সরে পড়তে।
[66] Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and refusing with hatred to listen to them).

[67] مُستَكبِرينَ بِهِ سٰمِرًا تَهجُرونَ
[67] অহংকার করে এ বিষয়ে অর্থহীন গল্প-গুজব করে যেতে।
[67] In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Qur’ân) by night.

[68] أَفَلَم يَدَّبَّرُوا القَولَ أَم جاءَهُم ما لَم يَأتِ ءاباءَهُمُ الأَوَّلينَ
[68] অতএব তারা কি এই কালাম সম্পêেক চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে না? না তাদের কাছে এমন কিছু এসেছে, যা তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে আসেনি?
[68] Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allâh, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old?

[69] أَم لَم يَعرِفوا رَسولَهُم فَهُم لَهُ مُنكِرونَ
[69] না তারা তাদের রসূলকে চেনে না, ফলে তারা তাঁকে অস্বীকার করে?
[69] Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him?

[70] أَم يَقولونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۚ بَل جاءَهُم بِالحَقِّ وَأَكثَرُهُم لِلحَقِّ كٰرِهونَ
[70] না তারা বলে যে, তিনি পাগল ? বরং তিনি তাদের কাছে সত্য নিয়ে আগমন করেছেন এবং তাদের অধিকাংশ সত্যকে অপছন্দ করে।
[70] Or say they: “There is madness in him?” Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. “Tauhîd: Worshipping Allâh Alone in all aspects The Qur’ân and the religion of Islâm,”] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth.

[71] وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الحَقُّ أَهواءَهُم لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمٰوٰتُ وَالأَرضُ وَمَن فيهِنَّ ۚ بَل أَتَينٰهُم بِذِكرِهِم فَهُم عَن ذِكرِهِم مُعرِضونَ
[71] সত্য যদি তাদের কাছে কামনা-বাসনার অনুসারী হত, তবে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং এগুলোর মধ্যবর্তêী সবকিছুই বিশৃঙ্খল হয়ে পড়ত। বরং আমি তাদেরকে দান করেছি উপদেশ, কিন্তু তারা তাদের উপদেশ অনুধাবন করে না।
[71] And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder.

[72] أَم تَسـَٔلُهُم خَرجًا فَخَراجُ رَبِّكَ خَيرٌ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيرُ الرّٰزِقينَ
[72] না আপনি তাদের কাছে কোন প্রতিদান চান? আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রতিদান উত্তম এবং তিনিই রিযিকদাতা।
[72] Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance.

[73] وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدعوهُم إِلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ
[73] আপনি তো তাদেরকে সোজা পথে দাওয়াত দিচ্ছেন;
[73] And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to the Straight Path (true religion – Islâmic Monotheism).

[74] وَإِنَّ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرٰطِ لَنٰكِبونَ
[74] আর যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না, তারা সোজা পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে গেছে।
[74] And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion – Islâmic Monotheism).

[75] ۞ وَلَو رَحِمنٰهُم وَكَشَفنا ما بِهِم مِن ضُرٍّ لَلَجّوا فى طُغيٰنِهِم يَعمَهونَ
[75] যদি আমি তাদের প্রতি দয়া করি এবং তাদের কষ্ট দূর করে দেই, তবুও তারা তাদের অবাধ্যতায় দিশেহারা হয়ে লেগে থাকবে।
[75] And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

[76] وَلَقَد أَخَذنٰهُم بِالعَذابِ فَمَا استَكانوا لِرَبِّهِم وَما يَتَضَرَّعونَ
[76] আমি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করেছিলাম, কিন্তু তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে নত হল না এবং কাকুতি-মিনুতিও করল না।
[76] And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allâh) with submission to Him.

[77] حَتّىٰ إِذا فَتَحنا عَلَيهِم بابًا ذا عَذابٍ شَديدٍ إِذا هُم فيهِ مُبلِسونَ
[77] অবশেষে যখন আমি তাদের জন্য কঠিন শাস্তির দ্বার খুলে দেব, তখন তাতে তাদের আশা ভঙ্গ হবে।
[77] Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair.

[78] وَهُوَ الَّذى أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمعَ وَالأَبصٰرَ وَالأَفـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَليلًا ما تَشكُرونَ
[78] তিনি তোমাদের কান, চোখ ও অন্তঃকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা খুবই অল্প কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে থাক।
[78] It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), eyes (sight), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give.

[79] وَهُوَ الَّذى ذَرَأَكُم فِى الأَرضِ وَإِلَيهِ تُحشَرونَ
[79] তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে রেখেছেন এবং তারই দিকে তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করা হবে।
[79] And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back.

[80] وَهُوَ الَّذى يُحيۦ وَيُميتُ وَلَهُ اختِلٰفُ الَّيلِ وَالنَّهارِ ۚ أَفَلا تَعقِلونَ
[80] তিনিই প্রাণ দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান এবং দিবা-রাত্রির বিবর্তন তাঁরই কাজ, তবু ও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না?
[80] And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?
