[41] فَأَخَذَتهُمُ الصَّيحَةُ بِالحَقِّ فَجَعَلنٰهُم غُثاءً ۚ فَبُعدًا لِلقَومِ الظّٰلِمينَ
[41] অতঃপর সত্য সত্যই এক ভয়ংকর শব্দ তাদেরকে হতচকিত করল এবং আমি তাদেরকে বাত্যা-তাড়িত আবর্জনা সদৃশ করে দিলাম। অতঃপর ধ্বংস হোক পাপী সম্প্রদায়।
[41] So As-Saîhah (torment – awful cry) overtook them in truth (with justice), and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So away with the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, disobedient to His Messengers).

[42] ثُمَّ أَنشَأنا مِن بَعدِهِم قُرونًا ءاخَرينَ
[42] এরপর তাদের পরে আমি বহু সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছি।
[42] Then, after them, We created other generations.

[43] ما تَسبِقُ مِن أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَها وَما يَستَـٔخِرونَ
[43] কোন সম্প্রদায় তার নির্দিষ্ট কালের অগ্রে যেতে পারে না। এবং পশ্চাতেও থকাতে পারে না।
[43] No nation can advance their term, nor can they delay it.

[44] ثُمَّ أَرسَلنا رُسُلَنا تَترا ۖ كُلَّ ما جاءَ أُمَّةً رَسولُها كَذَّبوهُ ۚ فَأَتبَعنا بَعضَهُم بَعضًا وَجَعَلنٰهُم أَحاديثَ ۚ فَبُعدًا لِقَومٍ لا يُؤمِنونَ
[44] এরপর আমি একাদিক্রমে আমার রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন উম্মতের কাছে তাঁর রসূল আগমন করেছেন, তখনই তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। অতঃপর আমি তাদের একের পর এক ধ্বংস করেছি এবং তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয়ে পরিণত করেছি। সুতরাং ধ্বংস হোক অবিশ্বাসীরা।
[44] Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, Every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadîth (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not!

[45] ثُمَّ أَرسَلنا موسىٰ وَأَخاهُ هٰرونَ بِـٔايٰتِنا وَسُلطٰنٍ مُبينٍ
[45] অতঃপর আমি মূসা ও হারুণকে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম আমার নিদর্শনাবলী ও সুস্পষ্ট সনদসহ,
[45] Then We sent Mûsa (Moses) and his brother Hârûn (Aaron), with Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and manifest authority,

[46] إِلىٰ فِرعَونَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِ فَاستَكبَروا وَكانوا قَومًا عالينَ
[46] ফেরআউন ও তার অমাত্যদের কাছে। অতঃপর তারা অহংকার করল এবং তারা উদ্ধত সম্প্রদায় ছিল।
[46] To Fir’aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they behaved insolently and they were people self-exalting (by disobeying their Lord, and exalting themselves over and above the Messenger of Allâh).

[47] فَقالوا أَنُؤمِنُ لِبَشَرَينِ مِثلِنا وَقَومُهُما لَنا عٰبِدونَ
[47] তারা বললঃ আমরা কি আমাদের মতই এ দুই ব্যক্তিতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব; অথচ তাদের সম্প্রদায় আমাদের দাস?
[47] They said: “Shall we believe in two men like ourselves, and their people are obedient to us with humility (and we use them to serve us as we like).”

[48] فَكَذَّبوهُما فَكانوا مِنَ المُهلَكينَ
[48] অতঃপর তারা উভয়কে মিথ্যাবাদী বলল। ফলে তারা ধ্বংস প্রাপ্ত হল।
[48] So they denied them both [Mûsa (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron)] and became of those who were destroyed

[49] وَلَقَد ءاتَينا موسَى الكِتٰبَ لَعَلَّهُم يَهتَدونَ
[49] আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম যাতে তারা সৎপথ পায়।
[49] And indeed We gave Mûsa (Moses) the Scripture, that they may be guided.

[50] وَجَعَلنَا ابنَ مَريَمَ وَأُمَّهُ ءايَةً وَءاوَينٰهُما إِلىٰ رَبوَةٍ ذاتِ قَرارٍ وَمَعينٍ
[50] এবং আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ও তাঁর মাতাকে এক নিদর্শন দান করেছিলাম। এবং তাদেরকে এক অবস্থানযোগ্য স্বচ্ছ পানি বিশিষ্ট টিলায় আশ্রয় দিয়েছিলাম।
[50] And We made the son of Maryam (Mary) and his mother as a sign, And We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams.

[51] يٰأَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَاعمَلوا صٰلِحًا ۖ إِنّى بِما تَعمَلونَ عَليمٌ
[51] হে রসূলগণ, পবিত্র বস্তু আহার করুন এবং সৎকাজ করুন। আপনারা যা করেন সে বিষয়ে আমি পরিজ্ঞাত।
[51] O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyyibât [all kinds of Halâl (lawful) foods (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do.

[52] وَإِنَّ هٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُم أُمَّةً وٰحِدَةً وَأَنا۠ رَبُّكُم فَاتَّقونِ
[52] আপনাদের এই উম্মত সব তো একই ধর্মের অনুসারী এবং আমি আপনাদের পালনকর্তা; অতএব আমাকে ভয় করুন।
[52] And verily! this your religion (of Islâmic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me.

[53] فَتَقَطَّعوا أَمرَهُم بَينَهُم زُبُرًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزبٍ بِما لَدَيهِم فَرِحونَ
[53] অতঃপর মানুষ তাদের বিষয়কে বহুধা বিভক্ত করে দিয়েছে। প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় নিজ নিজ মতবাদ নিয়ে আনন্দিত হচ্ছে।
[53] But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in what is with it (as its belief).

[54] فَذَرهُم فى غَمرَتِهِم حَتّىٰ حينٍ
[54] অতএব তাদের কিছু কালের জন্যে তাদের অজ্ঞানতায় নিমজ্জত থাকতে দিন।
[54] So leave them in their error for a time.

[55] أَيَحسَبونَ أَنَّما نُمِدُّهُم بِهِ مِن مالٍ وَبَنينَ
[55] তারা কি মনে করে যে, আমি তাদেরকে ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দিয়ে যাচ্ছি।
[55] Do they think that in wealth and children with which We enlarge them

[56] نُسارِعُ لَهُم فِى الخَيرٰتِ ۚ بَل لا يَشعُرونَ
[56] তাতে করে তাদেরকে দ্রুত মঙ্গলের দিকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছি? বরং তারা বোঝে না।
[56] We hasten unto them with good things (Naz it is Fitnah (trail) in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? but they perceive not. (Tafsir At-Qurtubi)

[57] إِنَّ الَّذينَ هُم مِن خَشيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُشفِقونَ
[57] নিশ্চয় যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার ভয়ে সন্ত্রস্ত,
[57] Verily! those who live in awe for fear of their Lord;

[58] وَالَّذينَ هُم بِـٔايٰتِ رَبِّهِم يُؤمِنونَ
[58] যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার কথায় বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে,
[58] And those who believe in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord,

[59] وَالَّذينَ هُم بِرَبِّهِم لا يُشرِكونَ
[59] যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করে না
[59] And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord;

[60] وَالَّذينَ يُؤتونَ ما ءاتَوا وَقُلوبُهُم وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُم إِلىٰ رَبِّهِم رٰجِعونَ
[60] এবং যারা যা দান করবার, তা ভীত, কম্পিত হৃদয়ে এ কারণে দান করে যে, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে,
[60] And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning).
