[20] يَحسَبونَ الأَحزابَ لَم يَذهَبوا ۖ وَإِن يَأتِ الأَحزابُ يَوَدّوا لَو أَنَّهُم بادونَ فِى الأَعرابِ يَسـَٔلونَ عَن أَنبائِكُم ۖ وَلَو كانوا فيكُم ما قٰتَلوا إِلّا قَليلًا
[20] তারা মনে করে শক্রবাহিনী চলে যায়নি। যদি শক্রবাহিনী আবার এসে পড়ে, তবে তারা কামনা করবে যে, যদি তারা গ্রামবাসীদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের সংবাদাদি জেনে নিত, তবেই ভাল হত। তারা তোমাদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করলেও যুদ্ধ সামান্যই করত।
[20] They think that Al¬Ahzâb (the Confederates) have not yet withdrawn, and if Al¬Ahzâb (the Confederates) should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the bedouins, seeking news about you (from a far place); and if they (happen) to be among you, they would not fight but little.
